Sudan, an African Legend Original Artwork by Karen Laurence-Rowe When internationally award winning artist Karen LaurenceRowe first met Sudan, he was already very old and rarely showed much energy. It is therefore, with grateful thanks to Glyn Edmonds who kindly allowed Karen to use his reference shot of Sudan - tail up and showing the kind of feistiness displayed by a much younger rhino, that Karen was able to produce this stunning watercolour. Obsessed with the legend he has become, this is the third painting of Sudan Karen have completed - and the second watercolour. Sketching, photographing and spending time with this great beast has left his memory firmly sketched in her mind and it is Karen's greatest wish that the funds raised from this artwork can help do some good for those he left behind.
