China s Impact On Future Of Chinese Economy

China was one of the fastest growing economies after 2000. China s GDP grew at an average of 10% from more than last decade with fast paced manufacturing and industrialization. Shanghai stock exchange, biggest stock market in Chinese economy, kept on growing at fast pace, which recovered quickly through global meltdown of 2007 and after 2014, it grew enormously, due to which it almost doubled its value within a year. Increasing trend of Margin trading and overpriced stock prices gave rise to a volatile bubble which finally burst in June 2015, which led this country to face the biggest stock marketcrash of their history. We will try to analyze whole event, all the factors which contributed to this Government supported fiasco and its impact on future of Chinese economy as well as on the rest of the global economy.

After enjoying the continuous economic double digit growth rate, the Chinese government started relaxing rules on Margin trading after 2013 and so. Communist party showed a dream to its people, of being the strongest economy of world and they started motivating people to investing in stock markets. Government directed state media to cheer lead its people and to encourage them to start investing in stock market. These were some of the dangerous and blind optimistic steps taken by Communist party which set up a perfect stage for a storm to come which blew apart every bit of stock market. Government s optimism boosted the confidence of every common man of China. People

Does Louisiana s Statute Enacting A Balanced Treatment For...

Does Louisiana s statute enacting a balanced treatment for Creation Science and Evolution Science violate the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment?

Louisiana legislators established the Louisiana Balanced Treatment for Creation Science and Evolution Science in Public School Instruction Act. The Act forbids the teaching of the theory of evolutionand the theory of creation science in public elementary and secondary schools unless accompanied by the instruction of the theory other. The Act defines the theories as the scientific evidence for creation or evolution and inferences from those scientific evidence. The lower courts established that the Act violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment because it lacked a clear secular purpose. Delivering the Opinion of the Court, Justice Brennan invokes the Lemon test to determine the constitutionality of the Act. He begins by questioning the validity of the Act s stated secular purpose: to promote academic freedom. He defines academic freedom as enhancing the freedom of teachers to teach what they will (Brennan 2579). Based on the legislative history, the purpose of the legislative sponsor, Senator Bill Keith, was to narrow the scientific curriculum because he stated that his preference would be that neither theories be taught. Thus, J. Brennan sees a ban on teaching that undermines the stated purpose. Moreover, he writes that the Act does not promote a flexibility upon the teachers that was not already

The Structure And Structure Of The Pyramids In Ancient Egypt

PYRAMIDS

INTRODUCTION

A pyramid is a structure or monument, usually with a quadrilateral base, which rises to a triangular point. In the popular imagination, pyramids are the three lonely structures on the Giza plateau at the edge of the Sahara Desert but there are over seventy pyramids in Egypt stretching down the Nile River Valley and, in their time, they were the centers of great temple complexes. Although largely associated exclusively with Egypt, the pyramid shape was first used in ancient Mesopotamia in the mud brick structures known as ziggurats, and continued to be used by the Greeks and Romans. Pyramids are also found south of Egypt in the Nubian kingdom of Meroe, in the cities of the Maya throughout Central and South America, and, in a variation on the form, in China.

EGYPTIAN PYRAMIDS

Known as mr or mir by the Egyptians, the pyramid was a royal tomb and considered the place of ascent for the spirit of the deceased pharaoh. Built during a time when Egypt was one of the richest and most powerful civilizations in the world, the pyramids especially the Great Pyramids of Giza are some of the most magnificent man made structures in history. Their massive scale reflects the unique role that the pharaoh, or king, played in ancient Egyptian society. Though pyramids were built from the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the close of the Ptolemaic period in the fourth century A.D., the peak of pyramid building began with the late third dynasty and continued until roughly

Stock Market Observation Paper

Over the past summer during my Stock Market program at Columbia, I befriended a girl named Maria. After a few icebreakers, I learned that Maria actually lives in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, the country famous for wooden shoes, tulips and windmills, and so much more as I learnt from her. Maria explained that throughout Amsterdam there are many small cafes with more variety than just Starbucks that she goes to do classwork, meet up with friends, or just enjoy a refreshing cup of hot chocolate especially during the cold winter months. She explained that especially after ice skating on the Grachten (the water canals in Amsterdam) a warme choco is the best thing to feel your toes again. An interesting thought for a Texan that normally thrives on cold water and winters with hardly any snow or ice. Maria also... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Maria showed me her physical planner as well as on her phone which was color coded, prioritized and had a weekly success rate tracker. Her habits of getting things done on time and tracking her own successes and failures also led me to be more time conscious and reflecting upon my own failures and successes in relationship to set milestones and targets. For her it was fun to see improvement and to beat her own time. A habit that fits well with Mr Franklin s saying Time is Money and can be used perfectly to describe the atmosphere on a Monday morning at Wall Street. One Sunday night, Maria and I settled in a restaurant to catch up about classes

Research Paper On Frederic Chopin

Frederic Chopin

Frederic chopin was a Polish composer. He was famous for composing very beautiful piano solo pieces, such as Fantasie Impromptu, op. 66, Minute Waltz , and op. 64 no. 1, Funeral March . Chopin was famous for his emotional sonatas, waltzes, mazurkas, preludes and nocturnes. Being a child prodigy, he quickly rose to be one of the greatest piano composers. Frederic Francois Chopin was born in Poland to a middle class family. His mother gave him exposure to music at a young age, influencing him. by the time he was six years old, chopin was able to play the piano and at eight years old he gave his first concert. Introduction (Background of Actors): There are quite a few actors in respect to interest groups and domestic airline safety. The interest groups come from varying backgrounds of business, labor, government and public interest. The actors that we are focused on are the domestic airline companies, the aerospace industry, private security firms, various labor groups, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), The Federal Aviation Administration(FAA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Congress, The World Conference on Transportation Research Society (WCTRS) and the American people. Business Sector The business sector plays a major role in our domestic airline safety policies. This particular ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

With this conclusion the major manufacturers have laid off thousands of employees that would be working in our economy. Again, the problem is that the manufacturers are looking to make a profit now and not looking at the long term goals for their company and society. The manufacturers simply want the airlines to keep purchasing commercial aircraft so they can continue to make a profit from it. Lastly, in the business sector, we see the private security firms. These firms operate security within the airport and have no federal oversight. These firms are free to train their own people, pay their own wages, without the airlines, the airport, state or federal intervention. These firms know that their security at the checkpoints has been questioned and lax, but do wish to continue operating security at our national and international airports, knowing that some reforms at the federal level must be made. They want to continue to be the main security for the airports.

All in all, the business sector is very powerful in this particular policy making decision. The two main industries dealing with the airplanes themselves are the most powerful. The airline industry, commercial airlines and manufacturers, employ hundreds of thousands of workers each. These firms will be accommodated by us in our decision making progress.

How Is Napoleon Bonaparte A Hero

Napoleon Bonaparte was the French leader in the late 1700s. He is known as an intelligent and clever military leader. He went to military school at the age of nine, and finished school at the age of 16 eventually becoming a lieutenant in the artillery. Napoleon Bonaparte had many successes and failures, however his failures overpowered his successes which makes him a tyrant. While leading he went into many wars and lost many soldiers. By the end many people were not on his side and many did not believe in what he was doing as the leader of France, therefore making him a villain for France. Napoleon Bonaparte had many weaknesses as a leader which caused him to have many defeats. The Directory selected Napoleon to lead the French army in 1796 and this is what got him started leading France and the people. To defend French trade Napoleon took his army to Europe and the British army trapped Napoleon and his army. Napoleon manipulated the people by keeping what had happened out of the news so that he could be known as a great hero to the French people. If he did not cover up that he was defeated and was trapped the French people might have realized that he failed at his duty and was not the best for leader for the army.... Its weaknesses was that it got rid of Individual rights which the people just fought for in the revolutionary war. Freedom of the press and speech was restricted under the code. This code might have fixed the injustices of the recent governments but it also brought slavery back which is a big controversial subject. Hip Hop Politics And Pace University

Eric M. Goodman December 17th, 2014 POL 246: Hip Hop in Politics Pace University Professor G. Martinez Hip Hop is often written not simply as music but rather as a political statement; a passing of advice from an experience man to novice children. The lyrics of rappers are written often for entertainment; but just as often they serve as guidance to their peoples youth. Over the years Hip Hops purpose, symbolism, and meaning have changed. The rap of this era possesses naïve optimism. The former impoverished and activists have become the innovators, the industrialist, and the great of a newly form industry. Rwanda Genocide Failures

In three separate instances, thousands of innocent people have lost their lives, due to the inaction of the United Nations. Three genocides which all could ve been avoided, occurred. The slight attempt the UN made to each country was of no assistance, and each failure of the UN caused more loss of life. Though the United Nations is ashamed of their failures, they could ve put more effort in to prevent the genocides. The heinous acts that occurred in Cambodia, Rwanda, and Sudan were ignored and interminable by the UN, resulting in the mass destruction of the populations in all three locations. A Company s Strategic Planning Process

A company s strategic planning process can be quite extensive. According to the web page (The Strategic Planning Process, 2002 2010), in the 1970s, many large companies formalized the top down strategic planning process. This process was a way that top executives could formulate the business strategy and then communicate it to the organization for putting it into practice. As stated in the textbook (Employee Benefits A Primer for Human Resource Professionals, Fifth Edition, p. 17), this can include strategic planning for a benefits program which is the development of a successful benefits program. The basic strategic planning entails a series of judgments, made under uncertainty that companies direct toward making strategic decisions. This essay will touch on several various types of compensation and benefits programs that complement a company s strategic planning process. One of the first types of benefit that will be discussed in this essay is Government Mandated Social Security Programs which is talked about in chapter 7 of the textbook (Employee Benefits A Primer for Human Resource Professionals, Fifth Edition, pp. 197 220). These types of programs can be considered as a complement to a company s strategic planning process because of the laws that mandate certain aspects of employment within a company. The United States Government established Social Security and workers compensation insurance programs due to the social problems associated with chronic

Health Status Measurements

Health status measurements have become standard protocols in many physical therapy clinics. Generic measurements such as, the DASH (disability of the arm, shoulder and hand) and the neck disability index have long been used to measure a comprehensive range of patients health that include physical well being, social status, and current emotional state. These pre and post therapy evaluations, which have the patient answer a series of questions related to an injury or surgery, are used to measure change in patients health and recovery throughout the course of their rehab. While these generic scales have been useful in assisting health care practitioners when gathering data about groups, they all leave out one important thing, the... The design of the PSFS allows the patient to list several important activities that they are unable to perform or are having difficulty with as a result of their injury/disability (Chatman et al., 1997). The activities do not need to be in any specific order. Once the patient identifies 3 5 activities they will begin to rate each activity on an 11 point scale (0 10, 0 meaning unable to perform activity, 10 meaning able to perform activity at the same level as before injury or problem) (Chatman et al., 1997). These activities are unique and are not intended to compare patients to one another. In a study published in 1997, The Patient Specific Functional Measure Properties in Patient With Knee Dysfunction, the PSFS was administered to patients with knee injuries. The purpose of the study was to determine test retest reliability, construct validity, and sensitivity to change of the Patient Specific Functional Scale (Chatman et al., 1997). It involved 38 subjects (20 women and 18 men) with age ranges from 19 84. Patients were referred by physicians to 1 of 3 outpatient clinics involved in the study. Each patient was classified with a knee dysfunction defined as, any orthopedic condition of the knee that contributed to decreased level of function (Chatman et al., 1997). Although patients went to

Gulf Coast Hospital

Gulf Coast Hospital (GCH) is a 350 bed facility that is located in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana. Louisiana is located on the gulf coast of the United States. The gulf coast is subject to severe storms including hurricanes. On August 29, 2005, Louisiana was struck by Hurricane Katrina. The flooding from Katrina destroyed most of the patient files stored in the basement of the facility. Measures were put into place prior to the catastrophic event that allowed patients to obtain their medical records to be treated at another facility and to help with the identification process of those who lost their lives. These measures will be discussed in detail in this paper.

The day that Hurricane Katrina came ashore is a day that would forever change the way this facility would operate. Hurricane Katrina was a Category 5 hurricane that destroyed the gulf coast and flooded the GCH. The floodwaters destroyed the paper charts held in the basement of GCH and all the computers in the facility. During the clean up phase, the paper charts and computers were incinerated to protect the information stored on them. Because the medical records were scanned into a computer system and stored at an offsite area, they were accessible to obtain medical information in this emergent situation. The U. S. Department of Health and Human Services published a bulletin on September 2, 2005 that addressed HIPAA privacy and disclosures in emergency situations (Department of Health Human Services [DHHS], 2005, p. 1). According to this bulletin, patient information can be shared in emergency situations to provide treatment. Information may also be shared if it is necessary to identify, locate and notify family members, guardians, or anyone else responsible for the individual s care of the individual s location, general condition, or death (DHHS, 2005, p. 1). Finally, information may be shared if the patient is found to be in imminent danger or if the individual has agreed to be included in the facility directory
