A QBB file is created by Intuit s QuickBooks software when the backupfeature is utilized. These files are proprietary and cannot be read by any other software package available to the average consumer.
If you use QuickBooks to store and manipulate your company s financial data, it will become crucial that you take steps to protect this data. Given enough time, the most reliable PC will have some sort of hardware malfunction. But what to do when the company file becomes corrupted?
It is important to realize that using the same version of QuickBooks to restore the file as it was backed up is recommended and that trying to restore a backup file (QBB) using an older version of QuickBooks than the file was created in may not work. Obviously, you will need a computer with an installed version of QuickBooks.
You receive error messages when working in QuickBooks QuickBooks shuts down when you click to save a transaction Discrepancies appear on reports; that is, invoices or bills that post with a negative value Deposited payments
Aesop s Fables, The Trojan War
Why do people still read and talk about Greek mythology today?Well believe it or not people still read these myths like Aesop s Fables, the Trojan War, and much more! This report will talk about how these myths can relate to my claim that hard work can pay off rather than its counterpart of rather being lazy using the myths and fables from the Greeks, as they are still relevant today. People can learn that the Greeks wanted to prove that in myths there is a lot you can get with hard work using the myth Heroes Every Child Should Know: Perseus .After hearing his demand from the immortals, the gods that can t die,Perseus knew that he must take this task seriously so whenever he had to stop for directions and if they offer him to stay for a while... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This matters because the grasshopper was to lazy to gain his resources for the winter and instead decided to sing for the summer so he basically waited last minute which is an example of laziness, while the ants were hard workers and gained all their food(Aesop). The Greeks also proved hard work and laziness using the fable, The Miser. This is because he could have worked harder to get better protection for his gold because he just in a hole and would check it once in awhile but in result his co worker stole his precious gold(Aesop). As you can see,if the Miser would have put in more work for protection he would still have his gold but he was too lazy to build more protection(Aesop). In conclusion, you can that Greek literature is still flows in our modern world and my claim was proven that hard work pays off rather than its counterpart of being lazy as the Greeks were mostly lazy in the examples I

Compare And Contrast The Comparison Of Collocations And...
In this essay, I will compare and contrast how collocations and idioms can be learned from a book and from a corpus. I decided to carry out this study because, even though German is my advanced language, I often find it difficult to make my speech more natural and fluent. In order to sound more natural when I am speaking German, I need to have some knowledge of typical German sayings, idioms and collocations. Another reason why I decided to focus on idioms and collocations in German was that they vary greatly to the ones we use in English and I wanted to gain some knowledge on these subjects. Corpus linguistics can be best defined as a linguistic methodology which is founded on the use of electronic collections of naturally occurring texts. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (Sinclair, 29) What Sinclair is referring to as word combinations are idioms, expressions and of course, collocations. The phraseological nature of language has long been perceived as language does not expect us to build everything starting with lumber, nails, and blueprint, and rather it provides us with an incredibly large number of prefabs (Bolinger 1976:1)
The major task for second language collocation research is to discover what it means for learners of German (or any other second language), how they learn it and what problems they encounter when acquiring a collocation. Collocation not only plays a crucial role in language production and language comprehension but also functions as a key indicator of the language learners overall proficiency in the field of second language accusation. (Men, 2016)
Knowledge of collocations, to most people, is the of the same importance as the knowledge of grammar. If one is aware of simple language patterns in their second language not only will their flow of speech be much better, but they will be also more confident when listening to and speaking, their chosen
The Problems Faced By The Copper Mining Industry
The Problems Faced by MCM
Midwest Copper Mining s (MCM) biggest problem they are facing is that of sustaining supportable profit growth, as the undercurrents of the copper mining industry are changing. In particular, they need to figure out how they are going to increase their capacity to meet demands globally. They also need to figure out how to do this without disrupting the current culture of the business. They have been very successful and have created process and procedures that have kept them sustainable over the years. With the changing of the copper industry, MCM needs to re evaluate their business strategy, make changes as necessary, in order to continue to be a successful company that is both a cost leader and a differentiator.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This could lead to a huge price war within the industry. This is why it is important for MCM to remain on the leading edge of technology and engineering.
Internal Factors Affecting MCM
Despite the many external factors that affect MCM, they have many strengths that make them a strong competitor in the market. MCM has managed to hire some of the world s best mining engineers. This allows them to maintain the knowledge that is best and most effective when mine the copper. Additionally, these engineers have developed patented processes for extracting and refining the copper that no other competitor has yet to match. As long as MCM is able to continue to hire these types of employees and stay on top of technology, this is a competitive advantage for them. Tacit knowledge is another strength of MCM. They hire strong and skilled employees, and incorporate on the job training to further the employees learning. The experience of the employees and the processes utilized by MCM has allowed them to minimize waste and pollution through their refining and mining processes. With more and more concern about the environment globally, this also puts MCM at an advantage over the competitors. Being a small player in the copper industry, is both an advantage and disadvantage for MCM. They are able to do co locations with customers that are local, which provides a value added feature for the customer; often, shipping can be a heavy
Oprah Winfrey Celebrity Home
Celebrity homes are always so inspiring because money isn t a factor for them. To buy land and build the house of their dreams is something many people would love to do. Well, even if you re unable to afford the type of real estate featured, you can still recreate the wow factor on a smaller scale. It just takes some creativity and a good realtor on your side.
Oprah Winfrey is known for her television prowess and her ability to relate to the average American. As a result, she s been rewarded in many ways including her finances. With a net worth of $3.1 Billion, Oprah Winfrey can easily purchase the best real estate that money can buy. In her vacation home in Telluride, CO., she has an extensive wine cellar, 8700 square feet and a treetop fire pit. If this sounds like a dream to you, there are ways to include these elements in your future home. For wine lovers, it might be nice to consider purchasing a home with a finished basement. Turn part of the basement into your own personal wine cellar. A treetop fire pit may be hard to find, but you can certainly look for a home with a rooftop terrace. Once that s done, you just need to focus on purchasing a good fire pit. Consider contacting a Colorado realtor to find properties with elements that are similar to Ms. Winfrey s home.

The Iranian Language Essay
Today the Iranian languages are spoken from Central Turkey, Syria and Iraq in the west to Pakistan and the western edge of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China in the east. In the North, its outposts are Ossetic in the central Caucasus and Yaghnobi and Tajik Persian in Tajikistan in Central Asia, while in the South they are bounded by the Persian Gulf, except for the Kumzari enclave on the Masandam peninsula in Oman.
Historically, the New Iranian stage overlaps with the Islamization of Iranian speaking lands in the seventh century CE. The Middle Iranian stage began in the third century BCE. The later Iranians moved into and across the Iranian plateau, both carrying the new social structure with their languages, with a lasting impact on the socio political structures of Iran and Afghanistan, and the subcontinent.
The Iranians on their part can probably be correlated with the subsequent so called Yaz I culture in the BMAC complex, which reflects major cultural changes towards a more rural society after 1 500 BCE. They apparently remained in Central Asia, and only by the end of the second millennium BCE began to spread over the Iranian plateau. By the second half of the eighth century BCE, Iranian Median and Persian tribes (Mada and Parswa) had already been long established among the original non Iranian speakers of the Zagros mountain ranges of Iranian Kurdestan, according to the records of the Assyrian ruler Shalmaneser III (r. 858 824 BCE). Minorsky (1957: 78) recognized that the name of the tiny village Qal a Paswe near Solduz in Kurdestan retains the memory of the Iranian settlements (cf. also Zadok 200 1; 2002). The successors of the Parswa tribes who settled in the southwest of the Iranian plateau created the Achaemenid Empire (ca. 558 330 BCE) which, beginning with the Sasanian period (224 6 5 1 CE) and thereafter, ultimately resulted in the dominance of Persian over the Iranian expanse. While the Iranian plateau was increasingly Iranianized, the Iranian tribes known as Scythians by the Greek
A Stress And Coping Theory Proposed That Stress From...
A stress and coping theory proposed that stress from social and environmental factors underlie how detrimental romantic relationships can be on young female s mental health (Brooks Gunn Warren, 1989). This suggests that females maturing earlier than males, are genetically pre disposed to be vulnerable to stress during this period. Research has found that females carrying a specific short allele are genetically predisposed to depression, following stress related incidences. This is because the short allele is sensitive to interpersonal stressors that result from romantic conflict (Starr, Hammer, Brennan Najman, 2012; Vrshek Schallhorn et al. 2014). Romantic relations could increase the risk of depression more by the stress produces and because younger girls do not possess adequate coping skills, they are unable to deal with the stress (Starr Hammen 2016). Neurobiological processes such as brain development was suggested as a risk factor for depression development in romantically involved, early adolescent girls. Early, adolescent girl s brains are still developing so they do not have the required skills to self regulate (limit the extent you are affected) romantic relationship stress (Sowell et al., 1999; Larson Clore Wood). Caspi et al. (2003) stated that romantic relationships are perceived as challenging and young females do not possess the skills to cope with romantic stress. Consequently a girl s first romantic relationship is suggested to be the
Green Glow In The Great Gatsby
Her voice is full of money, [Gatsby] said suddenly. That was it. I d never understood before. It was full of money that was the inexhaustible charm that rose and fell in it, the jingle of it, the cymbals song of it... high in a white palace the king s daughter, the golden girl ... (Fitzgerald, 127). In The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, all characters had an individualized personality, almost indescribably like a color. Gatsby s personality has a green glow to it. Gatsby s seemingly unlimited supply of money, his hope for his love with Tom Buchanan s wife, Daisy, and the way, Nick Carroway, admires Gatsby in his narration, gives the great Gatsby a great green glow. In The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Gatsby is a newly rich, polite gentleman who is in love with another man s wife; Gatsby s hopeful attitude and loads of money, give him an air that is can only be described as green; Gatsby s entire lifestyle, his personality, are all completely summed up with a green glow. Involuntarily I glanced seaward and distinguished nothing except a single green light, minute and far away, that might have been the end of a dock. His hope is a light in the darkness and loneliness of the era. Gatsby had an extraordinary gift for hope, a romantic readiness such as I have never found in any other person and which it is not likely I shall ever find again (6). Nick had never seen someone with such an amazing capacity for hope. This hope, just like Daisy light, is glowing green and won t go out. Gatsby s hope burns bright until the second he dies. Compare And Contrast Calvin And Hobbes
Writing 121 The Calvin and Hobbes comic Scientific Progress Goes Boink is the comic strip I chose to read. I want to note that I have never read a comic strip in a book form and generally had only seen them in newspapers many years ago when I was a child. I first noticed how the comic strip was visually created. I noticed the detail each panel held as well as the use of speech bubbles and free floating text. The detail helped keep my attention to each panel longer than reading the words. This kept me engaged on each panel for a longer period of time than I expected. I noticed that sounds were communicated very well by illustrating their impact using different artistic styles. I particular think when Calvin locks Rosalyn out of the house the author did a great job of showing her anger, frustration, and urgency to get in the house. In one panel you see a speech bubble emphasized with a pointed frame that sets the dialogue apart from the other frames. You can clearly see the author wants you to feel Rosalyn s anger.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Calvin has a big personality and often gets ahead of himself and needs to talk through his actions before making a mistake. In the first story Calvin is dealing with being bullied. You notice here first that the reader is learning life lessons from Calvin in a humorous manner. An example is when Calvin says things like I know stealing is wrong, but HE stole it from ME, and if I DON T steal it back Moe will just keep it, and that s not fair If you notice certain words are bolded to emphasize their meaning. This is found throughout comic. The next panel shows Calvin planning his attack on Moe. This shows the lesson and the humor allowing the reader to take a serious situation like childhood bullying and completely giving it a light humor to it to appeal to a wide variety of ages. Younger kids will learn from the story while adults will find the humor in

Summary Of The Space Traders By Derrick Bell
The Space Traders is a short story written by Derrick Bell, science fiction fan and a talented author. The story serves as a thought experiment: what if space traders came from another star and offered to buy all the black people in America? This is a great thought experiment for readers in order to contemplate what would happen in present day America if something like this were to happen. I enjoyed reading these works because it puts our present state as a country into perspective, and allowed me to think of what decision America would come to in regards to selling all black people in America. The exchange for black people, much like the slave trade that we have learned about throughout the course, is an example of the inhumane... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I think that this was an interesting turn of events, as it showed what would happen in such a situation and allows insight on what the decision of the people being traded would be. I can see the reluctance of many to return after being traded off, because of the unfair treatment and racist actions of America. Considering the evident trading of blacks for resources, I can understand how difficult it would be to return back to the place that immortalized them and treated them as less than human beings, and as a form of exchange for resources. On the other hand, it is understandable as well that they would want to return back the place they called home for many years. Overall, I think it is difficult for any of us to come to a decision on this because it is different when experiencing this first hand. The thoughts of each individual enduring such a situation would have to considered in order to truly understand their decision of returning or staying with the Space Traders. In the article based on the permanence of racism, and the reaction towards the work of Space Traders, we were able to insightfully think about the implications of this work and what would be the reaction America has if this was an offer presented many years later. The excerpt focuses attention on the President s decision of whether or not the trade should be carried out. One quote that stood out to me was one of which it was inferred that if the trade did not happen, the
