Jesus made it clear to the disciples that they had to be born again of the Holy Spirit once He ascended to Heaven. This Holy Spirit would give them power to do the things that He did and more. This Holy Spirit would be their comforter and guide. Through the spirit Jesus would be with them forever. Chapter five is titled Demonstration . In this chapter Jesus shows the disciples how to live. Not just communion with the spirit, but show them that they needed to know how the experience was to be maintained and shared, if it was to be perpetrated in evangelism. Jesus demonstrated to the disciples how to pray and how it would give them strength. This was not forced upon them, they ask the Master what he was doing and he explained it to them. He also explained to them that the Holy Spirit had to be used for personal devotion and winning others. Jesus taught the disciples how to reach souls. His life was the method that he used. What Jesus taught, He taught in spirit and in technique. He practiced what he preached. Those of us that are led to train others should be prepared to have them follow us as we follow Christ. Chapter six is called Delegation . In this chapter, it shows Jesus always going forth building his kingdom. He lived the life and that s how the disciples learned from Jesus. This was Jesus plan all along, teach by example. This whole experience was an experience with the living God. All the while Jesus didn t stop the disciples from spreading the good

Planned

Planned, Market, and Mixed Economies

Each country has its own economic system, a system for allocating its resources among its citizens, both individual and organizations (Ebert Griffin, 2015, p. 11). There are three economic systems: planned economies, market economies, and mixed market economies. Economic systems are defined by how the five factors of productions are handled: labor, capital, entrepreneurs, physical resources, and information resources. Factors of production are the resources that a country s businesses use to produce goods and services (Ebert Griffin, 2015, p. 11).

Planned Economies

A planned economycan be defined as an economy that relies on a centralized government to control all or most factors of production and to make all or most production and allocation decisions (Ebert Griffin, 2015, p. 12). There are two forms of planned economies: communism, in which the government owns and operates all factors of productions, and socialism, where the government owns and operates only selected factors of productions. China and North Korea are both examples of current communist countries; Denmark and Sweden are both examples of current socialist countries.

Planned Economies and Labor Factor of Production

People who work for businesses provide labor. Labor, sometimes called human resources, includes the physical and intellectual contributions people make while engaging in economic productions (Ebert Griffin, 2015, p. 11). In a communist planned

Essay A Profitable Home Recording Studio

A Profitable Home Recording Studio For $10,000

Jumping in to starting a business can be scary and investing in a home recording studio is no exception. There are many things to consider when doing so. How much will it cost? What gear will I need? What recording jobs will I take on? What will I charge? How will I network and advertise? I believe that I can open a profitable home studio for $10,000 mixed with my skills and gear that I already have.

Before I get too in depth I need to discuss some assumptions about the situation. The first assumption is that I will be a home owner or at least a home renter when I pursue this business venture. If I were propose that this studio could exist in my current residence it would be an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If some of my first few jobs are making demos for bands, I want those demos to be as good as possible since that is one of my biggest advertisements. So when the band is paying for demo quality they will get better than demo quality no matter what that takes initially. The last reason is simply to undercut the competition. Like I mentioned previously there are people in town who have been in the business for quite a while and are really good. However If I can make recordings close to as good as they can for a fraction of the cost, I m going to be getting business.

The number one thing that I want to do with my studio is record full length great quality albums for bands. This may or may not be my bread and butter as far as recording goes but it is what I m most interested in. The target price that I want to charge for this is $400 for a ten song album. This is assuming that there will be a six hour block for drum tracking and eight hours total for tracking other instruments. If I m planning to make $10 an hour this leaves 26 hours for me to edit and mix. Anything out of the norm will be charged for accordingly. For instance if there are excessive tempo changes in songs or the band wants to go extreme with layering guitars and vocals. Some pieces of gear that I will need for this application are an awesome analog compressor, stellar reverbs and good microphones. Since in owning a home studio I wouldn t likely have a studio drum kit or every mic that a

How Did David Hume The Improbability Of Miracles

The 18th century philosopher David Hume claimed that there had never been credible testimony offered by anyone claiming they witnessed a miracle. Hume s argument regarding the improbability of miracles is fallacious. In An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding (1748), Hume attempts to fortify his stance but uses a cartesian circle, and thereby does not wholly prove against the existence of miracles. David Hume was a Scottish philosopher, historian, economist, and essayist, who is best known today for his highly influential system of philosophical empiricism, skepticism, and naturalism. Hume s resistance to the teleological contention for God s presence, the contention from design, is for the most part viewed as the most intellectual endeavor ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... His argument begins with the view that a wise person always believes what is most probable. A wise man, therefore, proportions his belief to the evidence (Hume 106). Hume asserts that it is more plausible that the testimony is false than the possibility of a miracle happening. He says that experience is the only guide in reasoning concerning matters of fact (105). He likewise contends that miracles exist primarily among the ignorant. It forms strong presumption against all supernatural and miraculous relations that they are observed chiefly to abound among ignorant and barbarous nations. He goes further with the idea that if someone testifies about a miracle, they received them from ignorant and barbarous ancestors... Further, the advantages are so great of starting an imposture among ignorant people that . . . it has a much better chance for succeeding in remote countries than if the first scene had been laid in a city renowned for arts and knowledge (126). Another argument by Hume is that there is no testimony for [an alleged miracle] that is not opposed by an infinite number of witnesses . . . Miracles have a self canceling nature. He sums up his argument

Egypt Business And Conflict

This time, we went a little more back in time when Amenhotep IV was Pharaoh.

Me: Hello Amenhotep. I have a few questions to ask you. How did ancient Egypt become united and how did leadership affect the uniting of ancient Egypt?

Amenhotep: You re asking the wrong person this question. You should be asking Narmar, but I may be able to answer. Narmar was a king of Upper Egypt. Narmer also established a new capital at Memphis, a city on the border between Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. So later he did unite Egypt. Leadership also affected the uniting of ancient Egypt. I wouldn t be pharaoh right now if it wasn t for my leadership. I have done things beyond leadership, not to brag. I introduced the worship of Aton, the sun god. My son is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I said, Some advantages of power is that you won t have to do many things. If you are pharaoh, bureaucrats carry orders out for you. But at the same time, if there is no leader the area wouldn t be able to function correctly. For instance, if a terrorist group kills a pharaoh it would be hard to find a new pharaoh. The power is gone and then other territories may attack. It is definitely a chain reaction, but having power can be a bad thing. I felt very confident of my answer after going to King Tut, Amenhotep IV, and Ramses II. I have learned a lot from them and they have represented advantages and disadvantages of being pharaoh (they have power).

This is a quote from a book called, The Victory of Ramses II Over the Khita.

So it does take a lot of courage to be an Egyptian pharaoh. I learned about the uniting of Egypt and about the leadership that affected uniting Egypt, religion and politics, and about how rulers affected trade, business and conflict. This gave a lot of information of what it takes to be a pharaoh. But what I feel a little sad about is about power. Power gives other people to attack and possibly lose their territory. It just seems unfair to me. But I learned a lot from these pharaohs and I hope to learn more about them in the

Issues Associated with the Endangerment of the Green Sea...

The current status of the Green sea turtle has been deemed endangered, due to the reckless behavior of fishermen, poachers and the disturbance of their nesting homes. According to the Sea Turtle Restoration Project5 Ancient ocean dwellers, sea turtles have lived on the Earth for 150 million years, since before the time of the dinosaurs. Even though Green sea turtles are endangered, they have lived on this planet longer than humans have. Author Carl Sofia2 states that for hundreds of millions of years, turtles swam in a world without people while currently their endangerment has become a nationwide economic issue. This particular topic is important because Green sea turtles are beneficial to the ocean and its inhabitants. NOAA1 discovered that Adult green sea turtles are unique among sea turtles in that they only eat plants; they are herbivorous feeding primarily on sea grasses and algae. This diet is beneficial to the ocean because they keep sea grass along the ocean floor short. Marine biologists of the Sea Turtle Conservancy6 declared that, Sea turtles and manatees act as grazing animals that cut the grass short and help maintain the health of the sea grass beds. Over the past decades, there has been a decline in sea grass beds. This decline may be linked to the low numbers of sea turtles. While scientist and environmentalist declare overfishing as one of the most important issues, the continuous endangerment of Green sea turtles are more important because they re

Maverick Teacher Essay

I am a bit of a maverick teacher, oh shoot, let me be real, I am very much a maverick teacher and try to tune in to my students and their parents to adjust my teaching to my students academic needs. I have been fortunate in my teaching career to work for principals that wanted teachers who taught out of the box or I probably would have been fired with an end to my career in teaching. An example of the crazy things I do to get my students to learn. During a social studies segment, my students were not too happy at showing specific areas in Europe on a blank map. During class they were unable to name the areas and a test on the chapter was coming up. I had them form groups of four with the task of devising ways that they could ... In four states (Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania), the proportion of households that speak English at home is higher than the national average (79 percent). The percentage of the adult population with a bachelor s degree or higher in Delaware (30 percent), the District of Columbia (55 percent), Maryland (38 percent), and New Jersey (37 percent) is equal to or larger than the national average of 30 percent. Ranging from $59,700 to $74,000, the median household income is higher in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and New Jersey than the national median ($53,700). Pennsylvania ($53,200) is the only state in the region with a median household income lower than the national median I guarantee, if this research had been done in an urban area, gang and drug infested, area the results would have been different. Furthermore, in the mid Atlantic region less than 10% of the teachers are black. Black children or Hispanic children will rarely open up and tell their true feelings to other cultures. A black child in an urban area will not share that he or she woke up and found her parents in bed drunk and he or she had to dress younger siblings for school; or that there are holes in the bottom of their tennis shoes; or they saw their mother or father

Endangerment of African Elephants

The official title of the world s largest land dwelling animal belongs to the elephant, more specifically, the African elephant. Elephants also are some of the most deadly animals, which therefore increase the danger of human and elephant interactions. The more human interactions occur, the more deaths result, whether it is the elephantor the human who dies. These animals, surprisingly, are socially apt; their trunk is used for more than just eating and drinking it is used for socializing. They are complex animals who live in large familial herds females stay with their family throughout their entire lives while males only stay for approximately fifteen years (Elephant Protection, 1). Elephantspossess a great memory and only forget what they learn occasionally and rarely, giving way to the an elephant never forgets saying (Maloiy, 178c). Despite how many people use the beloved saying, elephants may not be around much longer due to the shortened life span and increased mortality rates. Due to their incisor teeth, tusks, being extremely expensive and profitable, they are being murdered for the wealth they carry. This, coupled with the life span shortening because of malicious treatments and brutal practices reduces the life span of the African elephant from 56 to 16 years and the Asian elephantfrom 42 to 19 years (Elephant Protection, 1). According to what the statistics show, elephants may be following their ancestors to their death. Of the group of mammals called
