So get on with it if you must. Lionel went flaccid, and Morgane, losing interest in this game, pulled away. However, the flogging resumed. Even now, he heard the sharp crack of the whip and felt the searing pain of the lashes against his bare skin. The nausea that crawled up his throat that day returned, burning his mouth. He balled his hands into fists in his lap, hoping that would cause the trembling to subside, and he might pull himself together before he did or said something foolish. Alis massaged his lower arm gently. You didn t swear to her. I... No, I didn t. And you were flogged over thirty times. Alis stated this as a fact, not a question. Lionel, I must speak freely, and I hope you ll listen. She took a deep breath and blew it out. Are you listening to yourself? You were abused and victimized by dark magic wielded by the most terrifying sorceress ever known. Any other man would have given in straight away, just as your comrades did. You hold yourself to a standard that a human cannot meet. And I believe that s what s causing you pain. Allow yourself to be human, Lionel. He shook his head. I was weak. The city of New York, in accordance with the Title 47, Chapter 10 on State Disaster Preparedness Act (1975) is supposed to come up with a plan and prepare for any emergencies and disasters that are man made or natural or any other hostile activity that involves using weapons of mass destruction, such as terrorism. This is the New York Emergency Operations Plan (NYEOP) that recognizes that the local government needs to come up with a plan to handle such emergencies on behalf of the federal government. This plan acknowledges other agreements where requests can be made for state assistance that may come from other districts or neighboring cities, or even country (Zaza, et.al, 2016). A disaster emergency may become a threat to the United States national security. When a disaster is a threat to national security, different security procedures and authorities are required to address the requirements of national security. Such situations lead to a federal response that is to be supported by the local government.

1.An emergency or disaster can occur at any moment, or location within New York with no notice. Such disasters are bound to lead to a lot of property damage, human suffering, and economic hardship to the business community, individuals, and governments.
2.Sharing of information is necessary for many government levels, the private sector, and response community. The people of New York expect the government to provide assistance, guidance and inform them when an emergency, disaster or a threat occurs in the city of New York.
3.Hazard Analysis: A hazard analysis of the city of New York was determined depending on several risk factor values that included the duration, warning time, spatial extent, probability, and impact. Drama Assignment

My preconceptions of Drama were that of taking a play and performing it. I imagined that lines would have to be learned off by heart and rehearsal and repetition would be vital in carrying out a successful drama lesson. I remember when I found out that we would be taking drama as a module this semester it provoked me to think back to my drama experience in primary school. I personally couldn t remember much from drama in primary school other than nativity plays. I was very excited to begin drama at the start of this year. I would consider myself to be very outgoing and optimistic as a result of this I felt that I could succeed with drama. I am a firm believer that empathy is essential in life. I always try to put myself in others shoes and my experience with Process drama allowed me to do just that. As Baldwin says Drama situations may portray real life situations , and because of this I feel that it is excellent if these situations become realistic as the children will already have experience with the situation. Drama makes immediate something that is distant and vice versa Our lecturer said this and it really grasped my attention and I believe this really signifies just how important it is to discover empathy through drama. In our workshops conflict and tension were created in or participation of drama we as students had to resolve this conflict and as a result we gained experiences on how to resolve this problems in real life, If this was achieved with children in a drama lesson it would most definitely coincide with the idea of (Kitson,2005) that this would aid their learning and help them think of new
IV. SENTIMENT ANALYSIS A. The Sentiment analysis process i) Collection of data ii) Preparation of the text iii) Detecting the sentiments iv) Classifying the sentiment v) Output i) Collection of data: the first step in sentiment analysis involves collection of data from user. These data are disorganized, expressed in different ways by using different vocabularies, slangs, context of writing etc. Manual analysis is almost impossible. Therefore, text analytics and natural language processing are used to extract and classify[11]. ii) Preparation of the text : This step involves cleaning of the extracted data before analyzing it. Here non textual and irrelevant content for the analysis are identified and discarded iii) Detecting the sentiments: All the extracted sentences of the views and opinions are studied. From this sentences with subjective expressions which involves opinions, beliefs and view are retained back whereas sentences with objective communication i.e facts, factual information are discarded iv) Classifying the sentiment: Here, subjective sentences are classified as positive, negative, or good, bad or like, dislike[1] v) Output: The main objective of sentiment analysis is to convert unstructured text into meaningful data. When the analysis is finished, the text results are displayed on graphs in the form of pie chart, bar chart and line graphs. Also time can be analyzed and can be graphically displayed constructing a sentiment time line with the chosen
Discuss Three or Four Factors (E.G., Financial Resources, Access to Care, Insured/Uninsured, Medicare /Medicaid) That Contribute to a Patient Being Able to Manage the Selected Disease Information about obesity is bountiful; however, access to professional healthcare is limited. Traditionally, wealthy families have more time to devote to their health and beauty. They can hire personal dietitians, chiefs, trainers, and medical clinicians, who develop specialized activity plans, and recommend and prepare organic, low calorie, low fat foods. Additionally, their staff supports them through tailored barriers for current and future success. Most people who have sustained weight loss eat breakfast every day (Wing Phelan, 2005, p. 223S). This wakes the body up from fasting, produces better blood glucose control, and jump starts the body s metabolism. The first meal of the day can control appetite and encourages improved health consciousness. Weight losers, who have prolonged success, continue to weight themselves at least once a week. This behavior increases awareness that can influence weight. If people use scale information, they might change their eating and activity with the increased sense of personal accountability. The number one factor for sustained weight loss is continuing high levels of physical activity, about one hour per day (Wing Phelan, 2005, p. 223S). Exercise helps prevent excess weight by using calories. Being active helps boost HDL cholesterol and

A process that will enable people to improve and have control over their health is called health promotion. For social and environmental interventions as our focus we will need to move beyond individual behavior. It seeks development of individual measures and communities to enhance well being by changing their lifestyles. Promoting public health is an important role for the nurse by changing their behavior and prevents disease. Nurse s roles include clinical consultations, patient education, prevention and follow up treatment of their illness. This will improve the availability of services in health care and reduce the symptoms of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Secondary prevention refers to early detection and treatment of the disease. The illness or risk factors have been diagnosed and now we want to slow or halt the process in the early stages. Goals are to prevent re injury and limit long term disability. Examples would be for a cardiac or stroke patient to take a daily low dose of aspirin to prevent a second occurrence, a diabetic patient to change their eating habits, start an exercise program and take their medication as prescribed. People with known risk factors for illnesses must understand what is going on with their body and continue with regular physical exams and screening tests. According to the journal Adherence to secondary prevention strategies after stroke the main determinant to preventing a second stroke is having them change their lifestyle and take their medications as directed. The nurse s goal is to reinforce the promising results and provide them with information regarding their risks for a reoccurrence of the stroke.
Tertiary prevention focuses on the prevention of the impact from the disease. This will help patients manage the long term health problems associated with their disease. To maximize their quality of life we would need to help them set goals to prevent further physical deterioration. Examples would be programs and support groups designated to their chronic condition, which would help these patients maintain
This study especially aims to find the biological evidence of impaired empathy in narcissism. Lack of empathy is one of the prominent characteristics of narcissism; yet, the understanding of its neural correlates is limited. Empathy and narcissism are huge chunks of concepts in psychology and neuroscience, so these concepts should be covered first in order to mention the specific goals of this study. Theoretical concept of empathy and its neural correlates.
Our ability to understand and experience other s feeling is a core characteristic of empathy. It plays a crucial role in much of human social interaction and is an essential component for healthy coexistence (Eisenberg Strayer, 1987). Theoretically, empathy can be divided into two sub divisions: emotional empathy and cognitive empathy (Deutsch Madle, 1975). Emotional empathy is the capacity to share and respond to the unique emotional states of another person (Batson, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In the later half of the nineteenth century, the mythic frontiersman was commonly described as full of hope, righteous, and uncorrupt by tainted social order. This kind of frontiersman is referred to as the American Adam. The American Adam frontiersman can be found in [insert] However in the 1860s and 1870s a new concept of frontiersman arose. Dime novel authors presented these western men as strong, self reliant, and upholders of the law. This idea of the frontiersman is presented in Owen Winter s novel, The Virginian. The Virginian is an American hero who is masculine and always ends up saving the day. This man is portrayed similar to a knight in shinning armor. He didn t care about material rewards as he fought for truth and justice. [not sure what to add here...] ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Instead, the myths idealized life on the frontier. Authors used descriptive details in their stories to make the west seem appealing to the American Dream. The myths of the frontier made the Great Plains look like a land that was full of opportunity. An illustration of this idea is the dime novel, Young Wild West written by An Old Scout. This novel was about an eighteen year old boy who traveled all over the western frontier looking for adventures. Young Wild West, no matter the issue, always saved the day. Americans have a fondness for the frontier myth because of the belief in economic opportunity. There was also something about the image of a man plunging into the wilderness on his own and defending himself against the unknown dangers in the new world that many Americans found fascinating and mysterious. Additionally, the Plains offered all peoples a fresh start in

Abstract
In this thesis the Optimization of Number of Spot welds on Automobile Wheel Rim using Finite Element Analysis is studied. Spot welded rim must pass certain tests like Weld Strength Test (WST), Dynamic Cornering Fatigue Test (DCFT) and Radial Fatigue Test (RFT). In Weld Strength test a shear forceis applied on the spot weld using Universal Testing Machine. In dynamic cornering fatigue Test a moment is applied on the rim as specified by the company standards. In Radial Fatigue Test Influence of Tire pressure and vehicle load are studied. We choose three parameters for optimization namely, Number of spots on rim, spot diameter and thickness of rim.
Keywords: Rim, Weld Strength Test, Dynamic Cornering Fatigue Test, Radial Fatigue Test, FEA 1. Introduction
Automotive wheel, as a critical component in the vehicle, has to meet the strict requirements of driving safety. Traditionally, the new designed wheel is tested in the laboratory for its life through an accelerated fatigue test before the actual production starts. However, a physical prototype test time lasts at least 7 days and an average design period is 6 months or more depending on the requirement, so the time to test and inspect wheel during development is very consuming. At the same time,
What is the history of this topic?
Gender roles, the public image of being a particular gender that a person presents to others (gender roles, n.d.), have seen many changes through the years, especially in families. The changes can be seen in many aspects, including television shows, from the traditional family in the I Love Lucy sitcom of the 1950s to the plethora of shows about women and men who balance working and family life of the 2000s. A traditional family can be defined as ... the natural reproductive unit of mom, pop, and the children all living under one roof... (Ball, 2002). The 1940s, a period dominated by this type of family, were primarily a time of single income families where the father was the breadwinner and the mother the homemaker (Hayghe, H.V., 1990).
In the 1960s to 1970s, a feminist movement began and sparked a change in attitudes towards women in familial roles and pushed against gender inequality. This movement s effects trickled down to the opinions and actions of people in the later 1970s to mid 1980s. The period saw a decline in the backing of the traditional family wife role for women and greater acceptance for women finding employment (Mason, K.O., Lu, Y., 1988). However, the change also encountered backlash, with the growth of employed mothers came concerns of the negative effects on the children and their relationship with the mother (Mason, K.O., Lu, Y., 1988). This triggered an inconsistent time for family structure. The nineties saw
