My Plans for Postgraduate Studies and Career Interests With a four year degree in Computer Science and Engineering and after working in software industry for some time, Now I'm intended to pursue my long term goal in academics, which is to obtain a Master degree and possibly to aim for PhD relating to my preferred research area. With the enthusiasm to learn and explore the area of parallel and distributed computing, I want to achieve my Master degree specialized in relevant field. I envision myself pursuing a career in academia and research in future which will allow me to contribute those fields with my foremost interest. My sense of interest in research and its aspects began while I was an undergraduate.

This project, named 'Federated Identity for web services' (FEDi) was aimed to facilitate federation identity in Apache Axis2/C, an open source web service framework. With our project we could propose a well established solution to achieve claim based identity among distributed web services. We developed and strengthened several well known web service specifications WS–Security, WS–Trust and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) to obtain our project goals and composed a paper on 'Claim Based Identity for Authentication and Authorization in Web Services'. This project is available under Apache Axis2/C and the paper was submitted and presented at the International Information Technology Conference (IITC), Sri Lanka in 2008. Working in this project helped to me gain a good experience in research and majorly ignited the enthusiasm on me to pursue further studies on distributed systems. After graduating, I started studying the area of parallel computing particularly on Message Passing Interface (MPI) standards and its usability. I have written programs to understand the key concepts and functionalities and recently I did my own experimental work on parallelizing well known algorithms. Notably on parallelizing quicksort algorithm and conducting a performance analysis. The influence behind this was to parallelize quicksort without initial fixed data partitioning and share data sets created through regular partitioning. With this I was intended to

Foreclosure is an extremely serious topic for so many people. For some, it simply means that there are cheap houses on the marker, for others, it is the end of their lives as they know it. Ultimately, there really isn't a solution to foreclosure, but there I have formulated a plan to help slow down the process.

The future is always uncertain. However, having a financial plan for the future can save a person a lot of grief. More importantly, it can help tremendously for that young adult who is fresh out of college, and at the beginning stages of life; for the young adult who is preparing to attain his or her Doctorate, and will be living, most likely, completely on his or her own.

I am that person.

The average apartment rent runs roughly around $750 dollars.1 All I would really need is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment, to satisfy my own needs. Along with paying for the apartment is paying for utilities. Average utility costs2 are about $100. I chose to bump this up a bit, simply to make sure that the utilities would be covered. Every utility cost is going to be different depending on where a person is living, so I figured it would be better to be safe than be sorry. If I am still on the same health insurance during this time, then my health insurance bill will actually be $0. The way that this plan3 works is that the patient pays the first $3,500, and then everything else within his or her plan is free. However, if I am not on this plan by that time, I will put myself back onto it. It is a little difficult to break this down, because it is not a month by month payment. However, I went ahead to see how much it would cost to pay off the full $3,500 if I wanted to split it evenly throughout the year. Divided by 12 months (1 year) it broke itself down to about $291. However, with this particular plan, each doctor visits are only $35. I asked a couple people about how much they pay for their car insurance. They would tell me it was normally around $75 a month. So, just to be safe, I am calculating it as if it is $100 a month, so that I will have enough for $600 every

I will be receiving a bachelor's in Business Administration with a minor in InternationalManagement. I am in the process of applying for a master's in Management and Organizational Behavior at Benedictine University. Upon graduating from CSUMB, I will be currently working for the Dollar Tree Store, Inc. as a cashier. I hope that after the training workshop for assistant manager, I will be accepted and train in the new Marina store at the end of the year. In the book What Color is your Parachute, I learned that I could go into a kind of rejection shock, if a promotion in not in the cards.[2] As he puts it, I would have to keep going and stay motivated, because I want full exposure of the knowledge and operations at the Dollar Tree. I am achieving most of this by interning this semester. Tammi Huntsman is the manager there and I am shadowing her as she performs skills of managing. I have ordered inventory, payroll, reset the store a few times, and cashed out cashiers with her help. All skills I have acquired will help me down the line in managerial positions.

Year Two through Five: Achieving my of the goals

I want to be accepted into Benedictine University working on my master's part time and working as an assistant manager fulltime at the Dollar Tree in Seaside, California. My short–term goal is to keep working at the Dollar Tree and my long–term

Planning For The Future Of My Life

Introduction

There will be several events in my life that I will need to plan for even if it does not seem like it. I know that it is easy to say, "What if I do not get married," or "What if do not have kids," but it is still important to prepare for those types of events, because no one can predict what will happen in their future. For me the biggest events in my life would be marriage, family, and my children going to college. All are very important and very costly especially with today's financial problems, but if prepared for, it will make my life and others much easier.

Planning for Marriage

My first and closest event to plan for will be my marriage. Even before the marriage, there are things I need to do and take care of first like finishing school and then paying off my debts so I will not bring that into my marriage. After I finish those tasks, I will be more comfortable getting married and can start focusing on saving for it. Obviously, it will have to be a team effort, but both me and my fiancГ© will need to start saving for a house, preferably small, and planning for how we will do taxes and insurance. I know many people care about the expense of the wedding, but I am more so focus on getting a house. Yes, we will save for a wedding, but it will be small and more of a DIY wedding just to have something for my family to come to since they are big on those types of events. Back to housing, we would both need to have a good credit history and at least have a decent

My Future Plans For The Future

Imagine the perfect life, the perfect family, dream house, dream car, and the perfect career. That's what I hope someday my life will be like. Everyone has a future plan, to make the best out of our life, what is your plan? My future plan is to be a pediatrician. I would like to help the children of the future. They are the next generation and I would like to leave a legacy for them to follow. I want to help save and make a child happy someday. The thought of making a difference in someone's life is the reason I can go to sleep peacefully. We all have a purpose for being here and I my purpose is to save one of us, my purpose is to help the ones in need, the ones in the street begging for somewhere to live, the ones dying of poverty. However, right now in the 21st century technology has taken over the world, not figuratively but literally. It made the world, both a bad and good place. People are going to run out of jobs and tech will run the world. Technology will be the greatest invention of human kind but how will it affect some of us? First to begin with, Technology is part of our everyday lives. Every nook, every corner we turn there is someone with technology. In doing research it says technology is advancing so fast that it will be a thousand times more advanced in the next 10 years. From having no technology in the 1900s we are currently flourishing with technology every day, in our house there is at least 10 different items that are connected to the internet. To

My Plans For The Future

From January to May my plans for the future have become more clear to me as I have completed my internship and the program. I came into this internship with a general idea of what I wanted my future to look like, such as getting my masters, joining the military, working for federal law enforcement. However, now after completing my internship and several LEAD classes I have a better idea of what I want my immediatefuture to look like after I graduate college. I plan to apply to as many agencies as possible in the fall and if I get hired on, I will join the reserves. If I do not get hired, I will join active duty, and as I become more experienced I will continue to apply to agencies until I am able to get a job in a federal agency. I feel more equipped for a job in law enforcement after I have expanded my knowledge and abilities. Throughout my internship I was able to Expanded my software knowledge in Excel, Tableau, and Visio. Tableau is a computer software program used to help take data and create visualizations based on the data, such as graphs and tables. I used tableau as part of my briefs to upper management in order to make the data I was presenting clearer. Another type of visual aid I developed during my internship was the program Visio. I used Visio to create several diagrams to show cost avoidance. Lastly, I was able to update my abilities on Excel, a skill I have obtained for years but now am able to do more advanced formulas and time saving tricks. My specific Get

Reflective Reflection On Future Plans

In the following text I will reflect on the six months I have spent in Atlas Language School and how it has affected my career plans for the future. Furthermore, it will explore the issues that the organisation is facing in the current environment. In addition to that, I will reflect on the learning objectives I have set in the beginning of the placement and if I have achieved these objectives.

4.2 Key moments during the placement and how it affected future plans Personally, I think one of the many key moments I had, was when I went on my first activity with a group by myself. It was a bit stressful, as I have actually never taken a group to that specific activity but it did work out fine without problems. Another very personal key moment was when I realized that I am part of the staff now as I knew more and more people and they knew me as well. Also, I am very proud of the fact that I can now easily keep a group of 30 teenagers under control and keep them happy.

I think the placement has affected my career plans in the sense that I am even more sure that I want to work in the exchange part of the industry as I think it is very important that people from all over the world learn about different cultures and traditions.

These constructs, along with others, influence a wide variety of disciplines in psychology and other fields. In the final week of this course, you will develop a handbook based on one of these constructs. This week, you will choose the construct that you will concentrate on for this project. The construct you choose should be based on the area in which you would most like to develop your knowledge. Your choice should also consider your current interests in psychology and support your future career goals. Identify the audience for your handbook and the main construct in learning and cognition that will provide the focus of your handbook. Explain your motivation for using the chosen construct as your focus subject as well as how this construct aligns with your future career goals. Research five peer–reviewed articles in the Ashford University Library focusing on your chosen construct. These articles must provide sufficient information so that they will support your work in the handbook. See the instructions for the Learning and Cognition Handbook in Week Six for further clarification. Provide complete references for each of the five articles. Format your references according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center. Beneath each reference, provide an annotation that explains the theoretical perspectives, historical trends, and/or empirical findings within the article that describe and define your chosen construct. Saving and planning for the future is an important task that every individual should plan for. However, many times individuals feel overwhelmed, and anxious about how it is possible to survive and plan for the future. The Bible gives us good insight into how we should plan and manage our finances that pleases the Lord. 2 Corinthians 9:6 states "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." It is possible to save for the future while at the same time pleasing the Lord. For those who love the Lord and live by his directions knows that God is a God of plans. Jeremiah tells us "For I know the plans that I have for you, ' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to...show more content...

Dave Ramsey once said, "It's funny, when I began to listen to God and built an emergency fund, it seems like I stopped having emergencies." To a degree, God will tell you his plans via dreams, scriptures, messages or other people. He will warn you of trials and tribulations and he will also provide you a way out; if only you will listen. The Bible can serve as an excellent source of wisdom for how a Christian should save for the future. At the same time, the Bible calls us to give to further God's kingdom on Earth. Sometimes, Christian's can find it hard to balance both, which can lead to fear, and anxiety. The Bible calls us to trust the Lord, and acknowledge him always. Proverbs 3:5–6 states "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight" (ESV). God calls us to lean on Him for strength, knowledge, and wisdom, but He also calls us not to be idle. The Bible references providing for our household in 1 Timothy 5:8 "But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever" (ESV). As Christians, we should work hard to make sure that our family is taken care of, and provided for. At the same time, the Bible also calls us to give with our time and our money. We are to give of our time and talents to further the kingdom of God, and we are to do that

My Plans For Future With College

English 101

I–search Paper

December 1, 2014

Part One

For my final paper I plan to write about my plans for the future with college, my job, and what career path I would like to go down. I'd like to focus mainly on gender roles in the family though, and add in personal details about my experience to make it more interesting. I want to compare gender roles in the 60's to gender roles today. I will also go through the different generations in myfamily, explain how they changed or stayed the same over time. Then I will move into how I will be in the future with my family.

I chose this topic because I can easily relate to it, because I've seen gender roles in my family and in others' families. I think the topic is interesting and is something that will never die away because they will always be needed. I considered writing about the working poor or pay differences in the workforce, neither of them intrigued me as much as gender roles did. I find gender roles to be more interesting because I could talk for hours on my opinion and what gender roles are to me, also research them and learn more. We have read stories in our textbook about gender roles, I also am in a gender and public dialogue class and we talk about it all the time. I think I have a better grasp at gender roles then I would have the other two topics.

Part Two

Basically to find my sources I got on to the University Library website and searched under the EBSCO database. I typed in Gender roles and Get more content

My Future Plans For High School

In a few months, I will make a huge decision that will help determine my future.

I have many plans for high school; such as what classes I will take and what clubs I will join. But first I Have to take the entrance exams

I have been studying for the high school entrance exams since the beginning of summer. My mom bought me three big texts books that will help with the High School Placement Test, Independent School Entrance Exam, and Secondary School Admission Test. Recently I have started going to a tutor that specializes in preparing students for the exams.

I am applying for schools. My first one is Charter School of Wilmington. It is my first choice because it is two minutes from my house, so I would ride my bike. Also, it specializes in science which is my favorite subject, they are attached to an art school, which I also like to do, they have a good tennis team, and it is free. Archmere is my second choice. I like it there because it has a large campus that has buildings that are spread out like a college. Tower Hill is my third choice because it is next to my neighborhood. Also Tower Hill doesn't specialize in a specific subject it is an all–around school with art, music, math, science, and many more subjects. Friends is my fourth choice. I don't know much about Friends but i've heard it's a good school and will prepare for college. Padua is my backup school in case I don't get accepted into any other school. I am interested in Padu because I have only heard Get more content

My Goals For My Future Family

Life is full of dreams and aspirations, yet there has to be a solid plan in place to transform the fantasy to reality. For people like me who tend to prioritize and plan ahead, the task is simple. After carefully thinking about the goals I have, I have concluded that I have one main goal with a short–term goal that in turn will open the door to larger goals. By surviving my freshman year of college with at least a 3.85 grade point average (GPA) while working a fulltime job, I can boost my confidence and build up a solid foundation for future endeavors in college. I could probably name a thousand reasons why I decided to go back to college. But, the main reason is for my future family. College is very important in our life. Without education the only job out there is running a cash register for minimum wage. It is hard to make a living on low income. Believe me, I know because I have tried to do it. I wanted to be able to provide a better life for myself as well as my future family. I want my kids to have more than what I had as kid. Growing up my dad worked carpenter, and he used to get not that much money from his job. My mom never works; she took care of the house cook, laundry, clean, and a lot more. We are three kids and I am the oldest. My dad had difficult time to provide us with everything we need. We would wear the clothes for while tell we get a new once. It is unforgettable memory for me and my brothers, but it was a happily life in the same time. I like to be

Looking Toward the Future

As we look forward to our future, one cannot help but start to plan ahead on the road to success. Even though the path may seem unclear, it is certain that there will be many challenges to overcome. In this essay, I will discuss three goals I have set for my future. The three goals will consist of one personal, one professional, and one academic goal in the online environment. In addition to the three goals, I will discuss the SMART goal process while explaining each goal. My degree is in Human Resource Management because of my excellent social and conventional skills. To achieve this goal would mean a great deal to me considering the adversity I 've had to overcome to get here. In 2007, I dropped out of college due to personal reasons and was not able to return until recently. I 'm so proud just to have gotten to this point alone. SMART Goal: By March 19, 2016, apply knowledge gained from classes following the course guidelines and process so that I can earn my bachelor 's degree to help improve my career in the future.

Specific – apply knowledge (what), follow guidelines (how), earn degree (why)

Measureable – the goal will be reached by passing classes up until March 19th, 2016

Achievable – challenged by earning a degree and passing hard courses in the process Results–focused – forcing outcomes "improve my career"

Time–bound – Setting a time frame, completing my degree on the anticipated graduation date of March 19th, 2016

Accountability

In order to be successful, one must hold themselves accountable as each milestone is completed in the goals they have set. There is no doubt that obstacles will present themselves along the way whether it be in the form of personal matters (finances, relationship, etc.) or professional matters (lack of work, no opportunity for growth). My Future As A Teacher

In this paper I will be discussing how I will plan my future as a teacher, taking into consideration what and how I need to get there. It is important that I think about the steps I need to follow and the things that may be useful in the process of becoming a successful professional. Furthermore I will include my work experience and what I have learnt from shadowing my professional in an early years setting. Qualifications. The department for Education states that getting basic qualifications is the first step towards becoming a teacher. I must have the equivalent of at least a grade C in English, Mathematics and Science. I also needed 280 UCAS points to gain a place on the Early Childhood course at University. Once I have qualified with a degree of a 2:1 or more I need to apply for the QTS (qualified teacher status) course that qualifies me to teach. I will have to pass a Skills Tests in numeracy and literacy. To prepare myself for this exam I must revise using mock tests online and study 2–3 hours a day. (Bond, 2013) It is also beneficial to have a varied range of classroom based work experience. It is ideal to show you have practical experience as well as academic theory. I have also been volunteering in a Primary School in between university term time. From shadowing my professional I have gained an understanding of some of the key ingredients in becoming an effective practitioner. Teamwork. I love Georgia, and I intend to do everything in its economic and democratic development.

ESSAYREVIEW

You begin to respond to the prompt directly in the final two paragraphs. The penultimate paragraph, which addresses the question of why you want and need to study in the US is quite vague. The argument that U.S.education is great is rather general (and not true _in general_). If you specified that program you want to enroll in and why, you might have something more concrete and meaningful to say. Your final paragraph deals with what you intend to do on your return to Georgia. This paragraph is a little bit clearer, but not by much. It would be a good idea to specify what you mean by the "management system," especially if you mean something, as you apparently do, that is applicable to both government and the private sector. The essay says next to nothing about democratic development, but knowing nothing about the program for which you are applying, I've no idea how important that is. I suggest, in any case, expanding the last two paragraphs, with a view to making their claims more specific, and condensing the rest of the essay. Keep your sentences relatively short and simple in order to minimise the number of errors.

My future is something I often think about. Most often, the questions that arise include the common doubts of "Am I doing this right?", or even the occasional midnight philosophical questions such as "Why are we here?", and so on. For the purpose of this essay, I will focus on the factors that have allowed me to reach this point in my life and how these factors influenced and continue to influence me, in order to provide me with a visualization of my future. Factors that contributed to my current life choices include the desperate want to be something greater, as well as to experience the world in ways some could only dream of. I study hard, allowing for me to have the possibility of an early graduation. I dream big, allowing me with the imagination to draw up plans for myself and my future. I work hard, allowing me the strength and vision to execute my plans for the future. The way that I was raised has greatly benefited me. My parents have taught me that anything and everything is possible as long as you work hard for it despite the what others may tell you or even if the odds are against you. Another factor that led to my current life, is the amount of time I allow myself to think about my plans and refine them. This is extremely important because, without a solid, flexible, long–term plan, you could get lost in dreaming about the future, and end up not accomplishing anything. Hence, many aspects of my life have been planned out with not one or two possible alternatives

The Importance Of Planning For The Future

The Holy Bible Psalms 90:12 tell us, "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our heart unto wisdom." This verse is basically telling us about the importance of planning for the future. I am not just talking about plans for your future as it relates to your career, but also as it relates to your life as a whole. It is important that we have back up plans for when things take you down a different path. Making emergency plans helps to plan for unforeseen things or events that might distract me from accomplishing my future goals. Creating goals and using them effectively can help reduce stress and allow us to alleviate any difficulties that could come up during this journey. The HolyBible, New King James Version in John 3:15 states that, "whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Not only am I preparing for my future here on earth, but I am also preparing for my eternal future. My outline for success in this Master's Degree program consists of three key elements.

Never Procrastinate It is often noted that where graduate students tend to mess up is that they begin to procrastinate. Because most graduate students have many things going on in their lives it is common for them to put things off until the last minute. I find myself getting distracted quite easily and before I know it, time has passed me by. Trying to balance a career and family, along with the demands associated withgraduate school can sometimes prove to be overwhelming.

The Future of Education

As teachers our primary concern should be the students and what type of learning environment will be best suited to meet their needs. There are many different opinions as top what the most effective or appropriate curriculum is for the students. I do not believe there is any one philosophy that can provide the ideal curriculum for each and every student. Just as there are numerous methods of teaching, there are also numerous ways to learn. It is essential that we keep this in mind as we help the students achieve their goals and discover their talents. Above all we must encourage the students to try new things and do what we can to prevent limiting them in any way.

I do not feel that I...show more content...

I think that many of the schools today merely try to prepare the students to move on to college and by doing so exclude the students who are gifted with other abilities that are equally important and useful in society, even though those talents may not necessarily be something that can be refined through a traditional four year college.

As a future teacher, I very strongly believe that students need to be shown practical applications of the concepts they are taught. For myself this is especially notable in mathematical applications. As teachers we need to not just show how to work through a problem: we need to show why it works and what it is useful for. Without something to apply the information to math is nothing more than a stream of numbers and formulas that students memorize for a specific test and then quickly forget. By demonstrating specific examples of applications the students will be able to retain some of the information easier and then adapt what they learn to other problems they encounter in the future.

Upon graduation I hope to begin teaching Math at the middle school or high school level. Geometry, Trigonometry, and Algebra would be my first choices of classes I would like to teach, but I feel I would enjoy teaching any of the other forms of math. I would prefer to teach in a rural area since that is the

I believe that hard work pays off in the long run. Therefore, I have decided to write my paper on my plans for my future. The career I want to pursue requires hard work, sweat, and pain. "You've got a lot of very, very smart people standing by waiting for somebody else to do the work. Not a recipe for long–term solvency in my opinion," as Mike Rowe put it ("Mike Rowe Quotes", BrainyQuote). I want to pursue the profession of a construction worker. I will go to a trade school to learn all I need to be successful in my future. According to Scott Mosby, president of Mosby Building Arts, "Spending for residential remodeling and repair climbed toward its peak of nearly $285 billion before the Great Recession. About 2 million workers left residential construction in wake of the downturn" (Clapham 40). Therefore, there is a need to draw more people to these skilled professions. This has been a hard task, because of the perception of the quality of skilled jobs. Michael Smith, co–founder and executive director of Colorado Construction Institute, explained, "The perception of construction labor as an undesirable profession also needs to change if people expect to alleviate an aging workforce anytime soon. Schools and families must acknowledge a stigma of the trades and understand the long–term career opportunities within construction" (Clapham 43). A lot of people may look down upon my aspiration of going to a trade school and pursuing a skilled career. However, statistics show that the skilled careers are in high demand, mainly because of how they are viewed. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had at Blackfoot High School and the other various jobs, where I have learned the skills needed for construction work. Therefore, I can graduate feeling prepared and ready for the future. I have decided that I will go to a trade school so that I can learn more. Trade school will also help me compete in the market for a job that I will enjoy and make

Every person has hope for a better future. Even if we all have problems and obstacles we have to face. We live in a world with hate, envy, and evil, but we also live in a world with endless love, passion, and hope. In this hopeful world, our expectations have grown. We have anticipation about the future that we are going to have, and in all honesty, many do not have hope that we will have a better future, but that doesn't mean we can't try. We all aspire to be the best we can and I believe that with the ambition we have, we can move forward and better ourworld and each other. Though times currently seem to be awful, we are living in one of the best times ever. Technology is ruling the world, and the way we choose to use it is deciding what will come next. Not only that, but we are now living in a time where equality and acceptance are pretty much everywhere. I believe that in the future, it's not going to matter what makes us different. Lastly, I just want to point out that we are still building and shaping our world and lives. We are learning from our many mistakes and fixing them. "America, land of the free and home of the brave..", but also home of the hopeful.

First and foremost, technology has been flourishing all around us. As a society we are coming up with new inventions that are boosting our economy.
