11 definitive takeover II - settling in everyone is getting used to the new situation. i mean, all is pretty ok after all. no matter what kind of trouble one might encounter, there are systems in place in order to help. the govt shortened the working week by 1 day with same pay as be4. this way, ppl have more time to take care of their errands, their families and so on. this is 1 of the big changes impacting ppl‘s lives that the government introduced since taking over.

21 govt/dept discuss overhaul in training system/academy following the media scrutiny and the public outrage, the heads of the dept and the govt promise a grand plan within a certain period of time. task forces are formed, international or interplanetary experts are invited and consultants are hired. the govt also reaches out to all parts of the place and hold town hall meetings and order surveys and stuff in order to get the voices of all inhabitants of the place. in combination with some cold numbers and statistics a core team develops an extensive catalog of provisions and measures for a reform of the dept. the main focus lies on the training of the ppl working 4 the dept. a new elite school will b established as academy for the training of particularly independent young people.

treatment ‚dependency‘ / episodes 11 & 21 2018

23 paranoia in the government I - preparations for remote control are heating up after the uproar in regards to the dept, the members of the group are growing increasingly concerned abt their safety. age is also becoming a topic as members of the group grow older. the group has developed their remote retreat into actual headquarters. given that the location is not public knowledge, it is not excessively secured tho. however, the group has established a self-sustaining system; water, heat, energy, food and other things can be produced by the group itself. of course, they have some helping hands as well. also, they had systems developed, which allow them to make day2day decisions in governing with the support of computer simulations and applications, which pull together all relevant facts concerning a given topic. these decisions usually are directly relayed to their deputies leading the place‘s institutions. they also maintain an extensive storage facility with products and supplies, which - in theory - would allow them to survive w/o further supplies for several years. well, worries grow that if another situation like the one regarding the depts performance comes up in the future, that they might face attacks, political or other. the group decides to improve their computer systems and amp up their preparations. at the end of the day it is understandable, that they wish to live out their lives in relative peace and quiet. and when the systems are made more autonomous there is actually no necessity for additional human supervision.

33 specialties within the dept there is a wide variety of specialties. there r 3 main fields: civil service, prevention and citizen support. specialties within civil service r: administration & management, testing, accounting, politics, insurance, taxes, quality management. specialties within prevention r: psychology, marketing, police, process engineering, life planning & coaching. specialties within citizen support r: friendship, (life) companionship, guardianship, recreational activities & entertainment management. 37 the nxt superstar is born a child is the consequence of the teenage love. its parents are loving parents and bring up the child in the same house they‘ve lived in. the widowed grandmother lives with them as well, although she is growing old. but the family takes good care of her. 39 last memories of the old times now, almost 70 years after the break, the last ppl which remember the times and situation before r dying away. publishers, tv shows and news outlets r trying 2 find the last contemporary witnesses with a recollection of how things used to b. of course also the transitional period is thematized in length and heaps of historical documentaries and series are produced. the political section of the dept decides to build a museum commemorating the lenghts the soon 2 b forgotten generation went through and visiting this museum becomes mandatory for all school children throughout the place. 54 detonation: govt expires but doesn‘t III the dept receives a msg stating, that due 2 maintenance there might be interruptions in communication with the govt 4 a few days. there is protocol for a situation like this. the following week the dept receives a msg, that everything should be back to normal and work can proceed as usual.
