While she tends to keep her palette in shades of grey, Jolie has swapped her black and white for a brown bag: the Saint Laurent Y. The handbag, with its instantly recognizable shape, is well on its way to becoming the latest bag of the day. Angelina Jolie has plenty of company: Bella Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Blackpink's Rosé and actress Talia Ryder have all been involved in Anthony Vaccarello's new venture. So, will the celebrity endorsement make the Saint Laurent Y the next 'It' bag?
The actress was spotted strolling through New York's JFK Airport with her son Maddox, wearing a more eclectic travel outfit. Jolie stuck to her formula of a black sweater, heels, black sunglasses, and a large bag, but this time she opted for a few changes. Jolie, who recently promoted her film Maria at the New York Film Festival, wore an ankle-length black wool coat, which she tied at the waist. The classic outfit was covered in a white patchwork fabric that featured (among other things) a crane perched atop a skull and embroidered floral motifs. As for footwear, Jolie wore a pair of black suede pointed-toe pumps. Forget sensible travel shoes
when it comes to Jolie, it's either these or her Christian Louboutin Dolly 85 pumps in a tan colorway.
The minimalist maxi dress continues to be a staple for the stylish girl. Take influencer Courtney Grow, for example. Her signature casual-but-never-boring style was on full display outside Proenza Schouler's spring/summer 2025 show in the brand's semi-transparent knit maxi dress. Like Grow, complete the look with a pair of mesh loafers from The Row and a tube shoulder bag, also from The Row. It's official: Leopard print is the only print worth wearing this fall. Blame Alaïa's fall 2024 collection, which featured everything from miniskirts to cat-print loungewear. Supermodel Paloma Elsesser certainly thinks so. Outside the brand's spring/summer 2025 show at the famed Guggenheim Museum, she wore the brand's high-neck bodysuit with a dark denim midi skirt. Her see-through black bra peeking out from underneath only added a hint of sexiness.
