The color palette, meanwhile, was inspired by “fall in California,” says Tron, a surfer. “It’s like Paris meets LA.” They created their signature tees in shades of shell, yellow, cherry, lime, blue, and black. “We tried a lot of different things with the color palette, and I’m really happy with what we ended up with,” says Jenner. “I wanted the palette to feel free. The color we ended up with was this dark cherry it’s perfect for fall.” While one might not think cherry and lime go together, Jenner and Tron wanted to push the idea that bold colors can actually be worn together. “I like unexpected color combinations,” says Tron. “You can wear a top with a dress.”
If you need style inspiration for these pieces, Jenner says she's incorporated a few staples into her everyday style. "I love our cropped pants and tank tops," she says. "We also have an asymmetrical pleated dress, and it's so easy to wear you can dress it up or down. It's like the dress I fell in love with when I first wore [Antonin's] designs." As for Tron, he says he wants these pieces to make women feel confident and comfortable just like Jenner did two years ago. "I want women to feel empowered and like they're dressing for themselves," Tron says.
This isn't the first time Jenner has collaborated with an emerging designer. For her second launch, she created a line of puffers and linings in collaboration with Entire Studios; for her fifth launch, she created denim staples with Natasha Zinko. With Khy turning one in November, Jenner says we can expect more creative collaborations in the near future. "I'm trying to be very intentional, and I'm committed to working with brands that share my vision and that I truly admire," Jenner says. "The idea of working with these amazing designers inspires me so much being able to offer that to my customers is a dream. I'm so excited."
