While Industry isn't without its share of bad performances and this latest season has brought some particularly dynamic turns from the likes of Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, and Sagar Radia Marisa Abela has emerged as the standout performer of the cast. Her restrained, subtle performance as Yasmin Kara-Hanani has kept the show grounded, even as Down and Kay continue to swing for the fences. For those who need a recap: After Yasmin's philandering father, Charles Hanani (Adam Levy), embezzles from his publisher and then mysteriously disappears from his boat, the British media sends paparazzi after Yas, branding her the Embezzled Heiress. When Charles is later murdered, Yasmin is forced to take responsibility for her misdeeds or go bankrupt trying to clear her name. Meanwhile, she’s still completely terrible at her job, having returned to the trading floor at Pierpoint after a stint in private wealth management. Although Yas finds a new mentor at work in Eric (Leung), he also brings a slimy, sexual undercurrent to their relationship that leaves the HR department wide-eyed.

Arguably the quintessential American horror film (at least pre-1970), this Cold War-era film about an alien invasion by “aliens” will always be a blueprint for on-screen body snatching. This
classic black-and-white vampire horror film stars Gloria Holden as Count Dracula’s vampire daughter Marya Zaleska, and is known for its not-so-subtle lesbian overtones, which is reason enough to see it. A pioneer of the horror genre (especially those involving vampires), FW Murnau’s Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror was a box office hit when it was released in 1922, praised for its dark imagery and poetic script. Roger Ebert remarked that "This is the story of Dracula before it was buried alive in clichés, jokes, TV sketches, cartoons, and 30-plus movies." With Sunday night's exhilarating season finale, Industry closed its craziest and most suspenseful chapter yet. And, boy, is that saying something: The drug-addicted, sex-crazed 20-something bankers at the center of the show have been getting into dangerous antics from extramarital affairs to insider trading since the show debuted in 2020. (That said, with HBO greenlighting a fourth season, we're sure creators Konrad Kay and Mickey Down will find a way to outdo themselves.)

Not all hope is lost for Yas, however. After three seasons of back-and-forth, Robert (Lawtey) and Yasmin finally consummate their relationship whether they want to or not. But just when you think these two might finally give it a shot, Yasmin chooses self-preservation over love and agrees to marry the boyish CEO Henry Muck (the adorable Kit Harrington) a move that will keep the press away from her (Henry's uncle is a British newspaper tycoon), save her from
bankruptcy, and make friends in high places. As Robert prepares to drive away, leaving Yasmin with Henry, he and Yasmin share a final, painful look.
