I added the oil with concentrated drops, which you mix with your moisturizer beforehand. My skin was already moisturized, so I thought, 'Oh, okay!' The result? Five days later, my palms still look like the cross between an old orange and jaundice. My body, by contrast, is a dark, shiny chocolate color, which isn't exactly my natural skin tone but makes me look like I spent a week slathering cream on the Amalfi Coast. I'll take it.

Self-tanning can also be used to even out skin tone and correct hyperpigmentation. It also creates a light base that makes contrast less noticeable. In the winter, darker skin can sometimes look pale and lifeless, and a little self-tanner can work wonders, bringing out the warmth and natural glow of the skin.”
