That’s why we exist. We design the best clothes and accessories for you to easily get outside - any time of the year. Even if the outdoors is just a stroll around the corner.
It’s sad but true. We spend 90% of our time indoors. Our Norwegian mindset tells us that this is wrong andthatweshouldfindmore opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. So, we designed a clothing range to ease your way out the door. To make you feel and look better.
Get out more – it’s an everyday thing Designed in what The Guardian called “probably the most outdoorsy country on earth”, Norway, we take every day as an invitation to get out and about – if only for a coffee with some friends down the road.
For this is the point; getting out can be about trekking in the mountains or setting out for that exotic bird expedition, but equally about strolling your dog, walking the kids to school
or popping over to a friend’s house for a bit of gossip. It’s not how big the endeavour, it’s how often you do it!
Why we made Twentyfour We wanted to create the stylish but tough garments that can tackle unforgiving everyday use where you open and close a jacket hundreds of times every day. And of course, for the demanding treks through the forests, fields and mountains. In treacherous weather, changing terrain and rapid changes between hot and cold, wet and dry – whatever season there is. Functional to the core. Well-designed down to that last detail. That’s the quality you can expect from our clothes, because these are the requirements for getting out more.

We make no claims, but it’s common knowledge. Getting out often increases your oxygen uptake, makes your pulse faster and gets more of your muscles working, and with that increased production of endorphins, better immune abilities, and a much better mood. So yes, we find it meaningful to encourage the short trips rather than the mountain expeditions, the faster pace in the train station stairway rather than running a yearly marathon. Good health comes in small packages.
At Twentyfour, we place a strong focus on sustainability. We want to reduce our climate footprint so that we can contribute to a greener future. We recognize that the textile industry has major environmental impact and ethical challenges. Therefore, we are committed to promoting responsible business practices in our supply chains, so that we take care of people, society and the environment in the best possible way.
This means constantly improving production processes and further developing our clothes.
This may involve new certifications that ensure better working conditions at the production facilities, increase the share of recycled materials in our products or making better use of leftover fabrics. We are inquisitive about new solutions and have a strong focus on our social responsibility. Our responsible and recognized purchase practices will continue to be a role model for other companies.
We are also a proud bluesign system partner as well as a member of the Ethical Trade Norway and Chemicals Group
in RISE. We believe partnering up with member organizations and third party certifications is the best way for us to ensure up-to-date knowledge on sustainability and validate our sustainability claims.
In line with The Transparency Act, we work with due diligence assessments in our supply chain, and we ensure information and transparency for our customers through our annual sustainability report.
Twentyfour works continuously to reduce the footprint in the following ways:

• PFC-free production from spring 2020 (without fluorine impregnation)

bluesign® is an environmental standard and certification scheme for sustainable production of textiles with strict requirements for the use of chemicals and emissions throughout the production chain.
bluesign® works for sustainable textile production, and ensures the highest level of security for consumers, minimal impact on people and the environment, and a responsible use of resources.
Ethical trade Norway is a member organisation and a resource centre for sustainable trade. Their purpose is to promote responsible business practices in supply chains so that trade contributes to safeguarding human and labour rights, society and the environment.
The chemical group in RISE is one of the Nordic region's foremost competence environments on chemicals in textiles, with professional expertise and practical tools that make monitoring of this complex area of production easier.
bluesign® approved main fabric Guarantees that the main fabric in this product is safe for the environment, workers and customers.
Oeko-tex 100 certified Guarantees that there has been used no harmful substances in the production of this product.
RDS (Responsible Down Standard) Guarantees that no methods such as live-plucking of down or force-feeding have been used, and the down in this product is a by-product of food production. RDS sets strict requirements for a humane treatment of the birds.
Repreve®
Repreve® is recycled polyester made from plastic bottles. The difference from regular recycled polyester is that Repreve® is traceable. Each individual fiber has a signature called Fiberprint™, which verifies the content of Repreve® in relation to quantity and certification.
Recycled polyester Is usually made from recycled plastic water bottles or in some cases textile waste or fishing nets.
Using recycled polyester means less consumption of non-renewable resources and water as well as less emissions of greenhouse gases.
PFC-free DWR coating
Fluorocarbons (PFCs) are harmful to the environment, therefore all our DWR coatings are PFC-free.
