This internship I shadowed experienced crews and observed outdoor spaces evolve from bare, unfinished lots into fully realized landscape installations. This on-site exposure helped me gain a better understanding of materials, construction processes, and how design decisions translate in the field. I also supported the design team by developing precise, scaled plans in AutoCAD from early concept sketches. Using RealTime Architect, I translated those 2D drawings into detailed 3D models, helping visualize the final outcome and ensure the design met both spatial requirements and client expectations

I collaborated with the design team to transform initial sketches into detailed, scaled plans using AutoCAD and Dynascape. I worked with 2D plans to create accurate 3D visualizations in RealTime Architect, ensuring designs were to scale and met client expectations. My responsibilities also included conducting site take-offs (measuring the site for dimensions), assisting with presentation preparation, managing the collection of jobsite photos, and supporting social media efforts. Additionally, I performed research on local permitting requirements to help with due diligence for HOA, townships, and engineering, further contributing to the project’s success.
