13.10pm: Flight EK018 departs Manchester, Terminal 1. 00.25am: Arrives Dubai Intl. Airport, Terminal 3.

Checked baggage: Passengers are entitled to one bag, max. 20kg in Economy. The total dimensions (length + width + height) of an individual bag should not exceed 300cm.
Cabin bag: Max. 7kg – up to 55 x 38 x 20cm
The adventure begins...
Please allow plenty of time to get to the airport. It’s always better to arrive early than be in a rush or miss your flight, as we will not be able to get you on another flight if this is the case.
10.10am: Please meet the Tropic Team at the Emirates check-in desks located in Terminal 1, Manchester Airport. A KWTM tour director will assist you with check-in.
Upon arrival, collect your luggage and head through customs. You’ll be met in the Arrivals Hall by our local team, and escorted to your waiting transfer. Transfer time from the airport to Jumeirah Beach Hotel is approximately 30 minutes.
At Jumeirah Beach Hotel, you’ll be issued your room keys and asked by the hotel to add a credit/debit card to your room account for any personal extras you may incur, such as laundry or minibar drinks.

MONDAY 27 TH FEB
From 07.00am: Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your leisure, served in the hotel’s Kitchen Connection Restaurant.
09.20am: Meet in the hotel lobby where coaches will be ready to transfer you to Tropic’s exclusive pool party. You’ll need your best and most glamorous poolside attire for this VIP venue – think Ibiza beach party meets Marbella’s fabulous style. Be ready to dance the day away and enjoy an open bar and lunch amidst the glamorous sights of this incredible city. It’s sure to be a hot one, so don’t forget your shades and sun hat.
13.45pm: Please gather your belongings and return
to your coaches, ready for return transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the afternoon can be spent at your leisure.
19.30pm: Head to reception to be directed to Nuska’s opulent lawns for your evening’s dining experience. Explore the flowing gardens, browse the delicious buffet that’s been prepared, and get set to taste this spectacular feast beneath Dubai’s expansive, star-studded night skies.

DRESS CODE
Daytime: Come in your favourite glam swimsuits, coverups, sundresses and shorts – changing facilities are available throughout the morning.

Evening: Temperatures can cool in the evenings, so please bring something warm for your smart-casual evening (pashminas, cardigans, jackets and wraps).

TUESDAY 28 TH FEB
From 07.00am: Head to the hotel’s Kitchen Connection Restaurant to indulge in a delicious breakfast.
08.50am: Please meet in the hotel lobby for today’s excursion – a tour of Dubai where you’ll…
• Discover the historical, winding streets of Old Dubai.
• Cross the Dubai Creek by traditional water taxi.
• Revel in the sounds and smells of the Spice Souk, selling a variety of fragrances, spices, incense, textiles and artifacts.

• Visit the unmissable Gold Souk and be dazzled by the streets that quite literally glimmer with gold!
• Get a sense of the local culture and its traditions in the Al Fahidi district and Bastakiya Quarter, one of the first places built in Dubai.
After the morning’s tour, coaches will transfer you to the Dubai Creek Marina where you’ll be served lunch at the Boardwalk Restaurant.
The coaches will return you to your hotel following lunch, where you can spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
VIP SKYDIVERS
09.15am: We’re taking Tropic to totally new heights with this VIP skydive! Susie and Carlton can’t wait to join you for the jump, and look forward to meeting you promptly at this time for your transfer to Skydive Dubai.

This experience includes…
• Arrive at Skydive Dubai, complete the necessary documents and a brief health check-up including weighing and measuring your BMI.
• Your tandem partner will brief you and check your harness 30 minutes before the flight.
• Remember to smile during your brief interview with the accompanying cameraman!
• Time for a final gear check and photo opportunity.
• Enjoy the phenomenal views as you ascend for approx. 20 minutes to diving altitude.
• At 13,000 feet, secured to your tandem instructor, you’ll exit the plane
accompanied by the camera flyer.
• Free falling for nearly 60 seconds, prepare to experience exhilarating speeds!
• After your parachute is deployed at 6,000 feet, take the next five minutes to enjoy the views as you gently descend to land.
You’ll need to bring…
• Your passport.
• A completed and stamped Declaration of Fitness Form if you’re 70+ years, or if you have any medical conditions mentioned in the registration form sent by KWTM LTD.
• Skydive Dubai has a zero-tolerance alcohol and drug policy. For more information on prescribed medication, refer to the end of the brochure.
You’ll need to wear…
• Comfortable clothes, respectful of the local culture… i.e long-sleeved tops and shorts that cover the thigh area.
• Please avoid coloured clothing that may get dirty, and collared shirts.
• Trainers/sports shoes are ideal.
• Remove jewellery, watches, and accessories. There are free personal lockers at the centre.
• Please wear your prescription glasses or lenses if you need them; everyone will be given protective goggles.
You won’t be allowed to wear…
• Swimwear.
• Sandals, boots, open-toe or heeled/platform shoes, or shoes with buckles or studs.
16.45pm: VIPs, please join Susie and Carlton in the hotel lobby before heading to enjoy cocktails and views fit for a Queen/Sheikh atop the Burj Khalifa.


17.45pm: Please gather in the hotel lobby ahead of Tropic’s White/Silver Gala Dinner, which will be hosted at a secret venue frequented by celebrities and superstars alike.

This stunning al fresco spot boasts spectacular views from its secluded terrace, and you’ll be sure to enjoy sights of the epitome of Dubai’s architecture throughout your evening. It’ll truly be a gala dinner like never before, so be sure to dress like the sparkling special guest you are!

Daytime: Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and footwear. Evening: It’s time to dress to the nines and get your glam on. As the name of the evening may suggest, please come dressed in white (or silver) – we want to see you SPARKLE SPARKLE SPARKLE! With temperatures cooling as the night goes on, don’t forget to bring something warm to wrap up in too (although we’re sure all the dancing will keep temperatures high)!
WEDNESDAY 1 ST MARCH
From 07.00am: Enjoy breakfast at your leisure in the hotel’s Kitchen Connection Restaurant.
09.30am: If you selected the morning visit to the Burj Khalifa, please meet in the hotel lobby ready for your coach transfer. Located on level 124 of the world’s tallest tower, the observation deck will provide breathtaking

photo opportunities and views over Dubai’s sprawling cityscape.
Alternatively, if you chose not to visit the Burj Khalifa, you’ll be able to enjoy the morning at your leisure. Unwind on the sparkling sand beaches, relax by the pool, or catch a taxi to revisit the Souks or mall. KWTM will be on hand throughout the morning
to assist with any of your queries, and a cash allowance will be given to everyone to contribute to your lunch costs – please collect this from the hotel lobby.
14.30pm: Please meet in the hotel lobby ready for your 4x4 Desert Adventure! You’ll be whisked away to the desert in 4x4 vehicle convoy, ready to explore the
high dunes in a rollercoaster drive. During this adventure, we’ll stop in a spectacular spot deep within the desert to enjoy a beautiful Arabian sunset before heading for our Tropic Desert Dinner, where you’ll enjoy a feast of traditional Arabic cuisine and BBQ.
23.30pm: Approximate return to the hotel.

WEDNESDAY 1 ST MARCH - VIP
09.00am: As you missed out on the tour yesterday, you’ll be met by your own guide to enjoy this experience today!
VIP Heli Tour
10.15am: Meet in the hotel lobby to depart for your exclusive Heli Tour of Dubai. You’ll fly past the internationally renowned Burj Khalifa and the world-famous Burj Al Arab en route to The World Island and The Palm Jumeirah. Your aerial tour will offer a whole new perspective of Dubai and chances to enjoy phenomenal views.
VIP Harley-Davidson Tour
09.45am: After a briefing with your biker, sit back and relax as you thunder through Downtown Dubai, the Sheikh Zayed Road, and Deira. You’ll experience Dubai’s sights and sounds during this private tour, with the wind in your hair and the sun on your (sun-protected) face!

DRESS CODE
Discover Dubai Tour: Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and footwear. Harley Tour: Closedtoe shoes. Trainers, trousers, and longsleeved tops are ideal. Desert Adventure: Dress comfortably. Trousers and shorts are more practical than a skirt, and please avoid wearing short skirts or shorts. As the evenings are cooler, especially in the desert, remember to bring something that will keep you warm later on. Sandals or trainers are recommended.
THURSDAY 2 ND MARCH
From 07.00am: Enjoy your final breakfast in the hotel’s Kitchen Connection Restaurant.
10.00am: Please ensure you’ve checked out of your room but advise reception you still need access to it until you leave. Please settle any additional costs such as from the minibar, laundry, or bar and pool bills.
11.00am: Meet in the lobby with your luggage, ready for your return to the airport.

From 13.00pm: Make your way to your flight when your details are shown on the departures board.

ETIQUETTE
Dubai is a cosmopolitan city that accepts almost all attire and cultural expression. It’s still important, however, to respect local customs and traditions. Here are some suggestions for appropriate etiquette during your adventure.

It’s fine to wear swimwear at beaches, waterparks, public pools, and in spa areas, but it isn’t considered appropriate in areas such as business districts and shopping malls.
Alcohol is served in licensed establishments such as hotel bars and specialist shops to those over 21 years of age. Drunk or disorderly conduct and drink-driving are not acceptable.
Dubai is a warm and friendly city and you’ll come across many people who will greet you with a smile and warm wishes. Being respectful of local traditions will help ensure your stay is the best it can possibly be.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Vaccinations: Please ensure you’re up to date with routine vaccination courses and boosters as recommended in the UK. These vaccinations include measles-mumpsrubella (MMR) vaccine and diphtheria-tetanus-polio vaccine. You’re advised to inoculate against hepatitis A & B, typhoid, and tetanus. Coronavirus: As of 1st January 2023, all passengers travelling to Dubai are no longer required to present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate or perform PCR tests.
Travel & Medicine Insurance: Please ensure you’re adequately covered for your trip. You should have already stated your policy on the registration form and it’s a good idea to bring your policy with you.
If you are doing the skydive, please advise your insurance company and make sure you have an appropriate level of cover.
Mobile Phone: Your UK GSM phone is able to receive and dispatch calls (so your family will be able to contact you throughout your trip!).
WhatsApp: WhatsApp is available to use in the UAE but only to send and receive messages, not for making voice or video calls.
Language: English/Arabic.
Currency & Exchange Rates: The local currency is the UAE Dirham, AED. US$ are also widely accepted and you’ll be able to convert currency at the airport and hotel.
Electricity: The electricity is 115/230 volts AC, and the most typical plug point you’ll find in Dubai hotels is a Type G rectangular 3-pin, which is the same as in the UK.
Weather: The weather in February/March is warm, with an average temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. However, temperatures drop in the evening, so please ensure you’ve packed warmer clothes for your nighttime activities.
Time: Dubai is GMT+4 hours ahead of the UK.
Medication: Many medicines used worldwide are readily available in pharmacies and hospitals across Dubai. If you’re travelling with prescribed medication, however, please remember to bring your doctor’s note with you. The prescription should also detail the quantity of the medication you intend to carry and it’s important to check if the medicines are classified as controlled or not in the UAE, which your doctor should be able to confirm.
