TAIMN 091 built for Boliden, transports copper concentrate from the Aitik mine to the smelter in Rönnskär.

RELIABLE SIDE TIPPING The Side Dumper is equipped with a roof and optimised for sealed transport of hazardous materials and/or highly refined and valuable ore products in smaller volumes.

The 4-axle bogie wagon measures just over twelve metres and has a carrying capacity of 73 tonnes.

The Side Dumper can handle sticky materials and is designed for loading and discharge from both the left and right side.

A PROVEN SYSTEM The Side Dumper Unloading Station unloads up to 20 wagons per hour. The Unloading Station has a simple design and offers a good overall economy.

The wagons can discharge to both left and right and be loaded from both sides. To ensure a complete emptying of the wagons, the robust Side Dumper Unloading Station is equipped with a vibrator. This low-cost system is proven in a subarctic climate.

The Side Dumper Unloading Station comes with a complete program for installation, training and maintenance.

During discharge, mechanical arms position the wagon and hold the chassis while tipping the body to an angle of 55 degrees.

In case of a power failure during

operation, the Unloading Station will stop and retain its grip of the body.

For optimal productivity and personal safety, the unloading process is operated completely by handheld remote control. A limited number of wear parts ensures swift maintenance.

Principle drawings for the groundworks are provided and the installation is performed

by Kiruna Wagon, who also supervises the start-up process and trains the operators.

The Side Dumper Unloading Station is compatible with all common loading gauges.
