FROM THE DUGOUT
DANIEL MOORE
WELCOME TO OUR FINAL LEAGUE GAME OF THE SEASON AGAINST CLEETHORPES TOWN.
Individuals weren't good enough last weekend in Stocksbridge. Our two centrebacks were bullied by their centre forward. We didn't get near the second ball and when we did, we got in decent areas then gave it away.
The first two goals were patheticwe're just weak at the moment.
Some players aren't mentally prepared to come up against sides who really want to beat us.
A lot of lads in the dressing room haven't been in this situation
before, but we've got to get that experience into them. That's why we've struggled against teams like Sheffield and Carlton, because they really want to beat Hebburn. It's the old 'nothing to lose' attitude, and we're not matching that due to poor individual performances. There'll be changes today, with lads coming in who I can rely on and will give me everyth
The pla enjoy it I won't sleep th before
what we're in football for.
Every game we're going to play now, whether it's one or three, is a cup final. Every game we've got left is a one-off and the lads have to stand up and be counted.
If we don't, we're going to fall short and I've made the lads fully aware of that - it'll be a shame but we've trained hard. We need to regalvanize everyone including the supporters - we need everybody

MATCHDAY PROGRAMME.
We haven’t been great recently and we need to get back on track.
If we’re being honest, we haven’t showed up over the last few weeks and that’s our own fault.
Teams have wanted it more than us, especially after the winning run we had at the start of the year. We want to put that behind us and we’ve had really a good week - the squad went out on Tuesday and trained hard on Thursday. That togetherness is important so hopefully we can get back to our
old ways today and get the job done.
In terms of any pressure, I feel alright personally. Nerves won’t be an issue for me and it shouldn’t for the lads because we’re up there for a reason.
It’s in our handsit’s not as if we need to win and hope other teams get certain results, where we finish tonight depends on how much we want it.
It’s not about settling for a draw either - we want to win the game and get some momentum back into us.
Like every game in
this league, we're expecting a tough match.
Regardless of how Cleethorpes' season has gone and where they are in the table, they’ll want to finish on a high like we did last year.
We’re a big scalp for people, especially when they turn up and see our crowds and facilities.
We’ve struggled at home this season so we’d love to see a big support there today to give us that final push over the line.
HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME

Hebburn Town are delighted to announce the club’s first team coaching staff have signed new deals.
First-team manager Daniel Moore, alongside his backroom team of Mark Hudson, Simon Harris and Carl Morris, have committed their futures to Hebburn until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Moore has enjoyed great success during his first season at The Green Energy Sports Ground, with Hebburn currently sitting in a play-off position and reaching the Durham Challenge Cup Final which will be played at the Stadium of Light next month.
Club Chairman, Vin Pearson, stated: “I’m over the moon Daniel and his staff have agreed to these deals.
“They are great people who
have brought such a good vibe to the football club.
“They have a strong work ethic and have set some high standards that have not just helped the team progress, but also created an ethos across the full club that is inclusive and supportive.
“I’m excited about the future here with these lads at the helm.”
The club will be holding an evening session with the management team towards the end of the season, where supporters can put their questions to Moore and his staff.

PRESENTATION
We're delighted to reveal the details of the club's 2022/23 Presentation Weekend.
We'll be hosting our End of Season Presentation at Hebburn Sports Club across 12 different sessions between May 19 to 21. After FA Wildcats & Mashup kick off the weekend, the club's senior sides will celebrate on the Friday night with players, committee members and guests present. We'll then celebrate the success of our Junior sides across Saturday and Sunday, each session taking around two hours. Due to safety reasons, there will be limited numbers allowed in the marquee therefore each child will receive two wristbands for parents (players do not need a wristband themselves).
Yellow and black ties can be purchased before the event and cost £5 each. We ask those with vehicles to park sensibly and be mindful of our neighbours. A full breakdown of the weekend's schedule can be found on our club website. We celebrated last year's presentation with over 1000 players, parents and guests and we can't wait for this season's event.

Hebburn fell to a heavy defeat at play-off rivals Stocksbridge Park Steels in their final away game.
Daniel Moore named an unchanged 11 from the Easter Monday draw against Dunston at The Green Energy Sports Ground. Stocksbridge got off to the perfect start on six minutes as Luke Rawson intercepted from Wayne Phillips, skipped past two defenders and drove an effort into the bottom right corner past Shaun Newbrook. On the 40 mark, Jack Donaghy cleared a cross off the line for Hebburn but Ify Ofoegbu was there to poke the rebound home for Park Steels, making it 2-0. Straight after half-time, the hosts swung a corner into
the back post where a free Ofoegbu got his second of the day.
Stocksbridge got their fourth of the afternoon as a long-range strike from Lewis Macaskill was deflected into the back of net on 69 minutes.
The Hornets scored a consolation with 79 on the clock as substitute Arron Thompson played it long to Amar Purewal and the keeper panicked off his line, with Olly Martin scoring the resulting penalty. With that defeat, it goes down to today's game against Cleethorpes to determine whether Hebburn will be in Tuesday night's play-off semi-final.

BY DAVID COULTHARD
We delve into the club history of today's visitors, Cleethorpes Town.
Cleethorpes Town were founded as Lincolnshire Soccer School in 1998 and established a senior side five years later when they entered the Lincolnshire League and soon rebranded to their current name.
The Owls won the Supplementary Cup in 2011, before winning the League and Challenge Cup double a year later, moving into the NCEL as a result.
They went on to win the NCEL Division One title in 2014 and the NCEL League Cup in 2016, ahead of a historic 2016/17 season. Cleethorpes stormed their way to the NCEL title with a record-breaking 108 points
Wembley for the FA Vase final, but lost 4-0 to our neighbours South Shields beneath the arch. Last season saw Cleethorpes make the Pitching In Northern Premier League East Division play-offs after a third-place finish, where they suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Stockton Town. This campaign has been quite indifferent for The Owls, who are now under the guidance of interim managers Liam Dickens and Tim Lowe.
They started the season with Dave Smith at the helm before Nathan Arnold spent four months in the hot seat, leaving in March.

Tomlinson had the ball in the net for Cleethorpes during
the first half, but it was ruled out for offside, and it remained goalless at the break despite the home side also having two penalty appeals waved away.
Jack Boyle gave the visitors a lead on 55, when finishing from just inside the area, then on the hour
mark Mo Qasim fired into the bottom corner beyond James McKeown to double their advantage. There was still time for another Cleethorpes penalty appeal when Tom Jamieson went to ground, but again it wasn’t given.

MEMORABLE MEETING
Hebburn's first-ever meeting with Cleethorpes resulted in a 2-0 victory on the road.
Kevin Bolam's side, who were on a seven-game winless run, was rotated heavily with the likes of Oliver Walters and David Allasan coming into the starting 11.
A cagey start saw limited chances, until Olly Martin poked an effort off target from the edge of the area on 22 minutes for Hebburn.
As a tight first half drew to a close, Allasan was sent clean through on the right flank but struck past the post. Michael Richardson then stepped up to take a 20-yard free-kick for The Hornets, which whistled over the woodwork.
On the 51 mark, Cleethorpes tested Mark Foden for the first time as a long shot from Sam Topliss was tipped away by the goalkeeper who made his return from an ankle injury.
4 DECEMBER 2021
Just after the hour, Martin broke the deadlock for Hebburn after powerfully heading home Dan Groves’ cross from a few yards out. Cleethorpes tried to get back into it with 69 on the clock as a corner fell to Jordon Cooke, and the centre-back volleyed wide following a deflection. With 10 minutes to go, Hebburn snatched their second through midfielder Robbie Spence.
Allasan, making his second league start, whipped a cross in for the midfielder to bundle past debutant keeper David Birch at the back post.

Hebburn Town U23s travel to Wallsend Boys Club this afternoon in Northern Alliance action.
Gary Henry's side are midway through a hectic end to the 2022/23 campaign, with seven games to go in the next 21 days.
The U23s started this week on a six-game unbeaten run following a 5-1 victory away to Newcastle East End. Sixteen-year-old Ryan Hardie bagged a brace while Harry Loughlin, John Murray and Jack Robertson also got on the scoresheet. However that run was ended on Monday night as North Shields Athletic claimed a 4-2 win, despite substitute Robbie Gateshill spearheading a late comeback.
Then on Wednesday, Hebburn settled for a 2-2 draw on the road against Whitburn & Cleadon,
with goals from Hardie and Kian Devlin-Johnston. Those results see Hebburn move up to a promotion spot, sitting second in the table though the teams around them have games in hand.
Today they face secondbottom Wallsend Boys Club away from home, before looking for revenge at North Shields Athletic on Monday evening.
The U23s are then scheduled to have five home games, the first of which against Newcastle Blue Star on Saturday, April 29 (2:30pm kick-off). They've also got to play FC United of Newcastle, Hexham, Stobswood Welfare and Seaton Burn before the season ends on May 13.
