WELCOME TO THE GREEN ENERGY SPORTS GROUND FOR TONIGHT'S FIXTURE AGAINST CARLTON TOWN.

Saturday was an emotional day - I told the lads how much we believe in them. They just needed to go out and believe in themselves. At half-time, it was the first time I've lost it. We dominated the game - Shaun Newbrook didn't have a save to make and we came in 1-0 down. I wanted to see a bit of desire and the pleasing thing was, we could've scored four or five in the second half. We put our foot on the gas and I was so proud of them. Some people don't realise, this isn't how lads make a living - they have work to do and care about football a lot. It affects them personally and mentally so it was great to see how strong we've been. To a man, they were all brilliant because it's easy to let confidence go at 1-0 down. We've had a tough run so it was nice to get a win, but at the end of the day, it's three points in a long season so we can't get carried away. We've got to use that as a platform for our next three home games. We're pleased to bring Jake Hackett in from Whitby. He was at Sunderland so has a good background and a good appetite. This league is so wide open. We're still in the play-offs with the run we've had because teams have dropped points - that's football. We've got to maintain the basics and grow in confidence - I'm sure we'll have a bad performance in coming weeks but hopefully the lads will now take something from them games instead of going in our shells. 7
