LAST MEETING

WELCOME TO THE GREEN ENERGY SPORTS GROUND FOR OUR ISUZU FA TROPHY THIRD ROUND QUALIFYING TIE.

I was disappointed with the whole performance last weekend. Grantham deserved to win to be brutally honest. They're a good side - I said before the game, they'll not be far off the top six. We didn't deal with them in the first half - in the second we huffed and puffed. I was pleased to get a point - I'm not going to dig the lads out, some of them were playing through injuries. With the list of players we have unavailable, any team is going to struggle. We just have to move on and learn from it, and look forward to today. Most of these lads work for a living, come here and play through knocks for Hebburn Town. We done everything we can to get 11 fit players out there so I was proud of them in that sense. We had five players written down on the teamsheet at 6:15pm against Shildon, and last Saturday was exactly the same, so the lads have done well to take four points from them two games. I'm hoping we can get at least one or two injured lads back today. The aim is to stay unbeaten at home and we managed that against Grantham. We need to stand up this afternoon Warrington are a tough side who have been in the play-offs most seasons, so we need to stand up and give it a real go. We won't risk lads because we can't afford to - if players aren't available, others will have to take their chance.
