DANIEL MOORE FROM THE DUGOUT
I think everyone stepped up three or four gears in the second half, and we could've scored another two or three.
HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO TODAY'S ISSUE OF THE HORNETS AHEAD OF TADCASTER ALBION.
We changed it a little bit and asked Sean Reid to do a job up top.
Will Mc broken after jum training he was surgery
All that matters in cup games is getting throughthat's what we done on Tuesday. In the first half, we were nowhere near good enough and it was the first time I've said some stern words. But what a group of players we've got - everyone going down to Trafford in such short notice and working together. They represented the club with pride. Every single player's attitude and desire was spot on, and I was so proud after the hard preparation. We were forced to make changes
It's a shame because he was outstanding in pre season and was showing what he's about - he'll be a big miss and we may look at replacing him.
Wayne Phillips pulled up injured in training. Robbie Spence put in a great shift, but done the Great North Run and will be suspended for tonight. Arron Thompson came in and did well.
The lads have been superb and I've told them that I think everyone should commend them for the first six weeks of the season. Now it's time to turn Hebburn into a different place to what it was we're looking forward to five home games

a game environment. Before I joined, the lads had a lot of away journeys, so it'll be nice to have five at home now. Hopefully we can take advantage and pick up a few more wins.
The most important thing from Tuesday against Trafford is the result.
game through. I was buzzing to get my first start and win. I picked up a few minutes away to Tadcaster, but it was great to get the full 90 under my belt because I haven't played a full game in about a month.
I'm enjoying my time here so farI've had a few training sessions and the lads have been spot on. It's been easy boding into the team - I've got to know everyone pretty w the fou session It's bee enough things
TO THE GREEN ENERGY SPORTS GROUND FOR TODAY'S GAME.
GOOD AFTERNOON AND WELCOME
Lads were making the three hour journey straight after work, so the main thing was getting through to the next round. The first half wasn't good, but the response in the second was great. We played in their half a lot better and created more openings.

I think we had a 25-minute period where we were on top and felt the goals were coming. Obviously we got both the goals, then managed to see the

Oliver Walters’ corner was recycled and Jack Donaghy unleashed an effort, which was rebounded to Tom Devitt in an excellent position to stab home the winner on 86 minutes.

Olly Martin whipped a cross in which was headed to the edge, allowing Spence to stroke a volley into the top right corner.
Hebburn Town secured Isuzu FA Trophy progression in midweek after a late win in Manchester.
Hebburn started slow and Trafford broke the deadlock on 12 minutes, as Ryan Morton hooked a low shot into the bottom corner. Reid hit the side netting for The Hornets on 18 minutes, after he latched onto Dan Groves’ set-piece and poked wide. The visitors started the second half with intent after a poor first period, and got back on level terms through Robbie Spence on 52 minutes.
Before the hour, Martin had a golden opportunity himself as he stood free inside the box but he couldn’t keep his shot down. At the other end, Harry Norris got in front of Shaun Newbrook and met Rob Worrall’s cross but his header skimmed over.
Hebburn should’ve went ahead with 69 on the clock as Reid acrobatically struck at point-blank range, however Matt Cooper outstandingly tipped over the crossbar.

Although the Tadcaster Albion name was not used until in 1923, the club’s origins can be traced back to a team founded as John Smith’s FC back in 1892. In 1930, the club reverted to their former name, although bizarrely a second club called Tadcaster Albion were formed at the same time, and the two coexisted until a merger brought about because of World War II finally seen them settle on the Tadcaster name. These links, alongside the fact that their current ground, the Global Stadium sits behind the John Smith’s Brewery, gives them their nickname The Brewers.
