In this line of work, Donald is aware of the obstacles a family can face with either purchasing or selling a home.

As a result, he believes that it is of the utmost importance that a REALTOR® is fully transparent with a buyer or seller. “If a client does not trust you from the beginning, there will be no sale,” Donald states.

Currently, the market is extremely competitive. In turn, this makes for a frustrating experience for buyers.

Donald’s advice to those that may be pulling their hair out right now is, “have a lot of patience, and be willing to think outside the box when it comes to negotiating. Negotiation is an art, and I have mastered that stage of the process.” Donald also advises not to be scared of the market right now. It is never too late to want to go ahead to purchase or sell a home.

However, Donald does say, “it is the

fear of not knowing what to expect with the market that truly stops someone from going forth with looking to purchase a home.”

Donald attracts much of his business by referrals and credits his ability to rely on a referral-based business model to his authenticity. As a result, he tries to make his clients feel comfortable and confident in their decision-making process. With a combination of access to some of the community’s top listings, an extensive network of business professionals and clients, and being able to attain some of the best marketing tools in the state, Donald knows this has helped his clients refer him to others.

To date, some of Donald’s favorite properties he has sold are located in North Boulder and Dakota Ridge in North Boulder.

When not finding clients their dream homes, Donald enjoys spending quality time with his wife, stepchildren, and two grandchildren.
