W elcome to our 22 nd season at H eart W ood !
We have a little something in store, for everyone.
After 21 seasons, we continue to look forward to students growing in their achievements and aspirations, opportunities to perform a varied repertoire, and the enjoyment of welcoming new audience – always with the continuing generous support from a loyal network of businesses and individuals.
Last season, we leaned into some pretty challenging work with students and adults, and we look forward to many more challenges and rewards in ‘24-25. Strong literature provides fertile ground for teaching and skill building, as we continue focusing on actor training and deep stage experiences.
This season, we’ll present Shakespeare’s Macbeth for high school students, the supremely challenging and award winning musical Hadestown (another incredible opportunity for high school students), Jack in the Beanstalk with middle schoolers, Summer Camp, and Silent Sky, by Lauren Gunderson, with an adult cast in June.
As always, we are keenly aware of your support and ever grateful to share the joys of live theater with you and our Midcoast Community!
— Griff and Joy Braley
