What is the Showcase? Lift and Access Showcase & Symposium is an event unlike any other in the lifting equipment industry. For the first time, the Showcase & Symposium will be held on the East Coast. Additionally, Lift and Access has teamed up with Rental Equipment Register (RER) and Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers to bring a wide range of manufacturers and vendors to the attendees and enable them to take part in one of the largest public auctions of the year while attending the Showcase. This year, the event will encompass the Symposium educational sessions, Showcase machine demonstrations and walkaround presentations, and a Vendor Pavilion exhibition on October 23-24. The exhibition will be co-located and held in conjunction with the Ritchie Bros. unreserved public auction—featuring cranes, lift and access equipment—on October 25.
Why exhibit? Provide product information to buyers interested in equipment, components, and aftermarket offerings, including contractors, rental companies, and more. Demonstrate how your products benefit machines as they are operated in the paved and rough-terrain demonstration areas. Network with colleagues from across the country. Agenda Event: Symposium Date: October 23, 2012 Hours: 4 pm Location: The Bohemian Hotel 700 Bloom St., Celebration, FL 34747 General contractors will gather to discuss “Working at Heights While Using Aerial Work Platforms, Mast Climbing Work Platforms, and Telehandlers.” Held in conjunction with the SAIA’s Regional Meeting, the panel will talk about how they safely work at height using aerial lifts and telehandlers, operator training, equipment requirements, and top safety concerns. This panel discussion is open to all attendees and exhibitors at the Lift and Access Showcase & Symposium.
Event: VIP Showcase & Symposium Date: October 24, 2012 Hours: 8 am-5 pm Location: Ritchie Bros. Facility 700 Ritchie Rd., Davenport, FL 33897 Admission to the VIP event is by invitation only to qualified attendees. Qualified attendees also can request an invitation at LiftShowcase.com. Invitations will be extended to qualified equipment buyers, rental companies, media, and exhibitor guests. Qualified attendees also will receive one pass to the reception. There are also a limited number of non-exhibiting vendor registrations available for $275. This includes admission to VIP day and the cocktail reception.
