This delicious flower vegetable is rich with vitamin C and manganese which both are considered powerful antioxidants, a serving of one cup of cauliflower contain 54 mg of vitamin C while the daily recommended intake is 75 mg for women and 1000 for men, and 0.34 g of manganese. But other than vitamin C and manganese cauliflower also contain other antioxidants properties such as beta carotene, beta cryptoxanthin, caffiec acid, quercetin, cinnamic acid and rutin. All these properties work to protect our bodies against the free radicals that can cause many types of cancers and various diseases. 6- It Has Antiinflammatory Properties. Cauliflower contain omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin K that both work as antiinflammatory, a serving of one cup of boiled cauliflower contain 0.21 g of omega 3 and 11.17 mcg of vitamin K. Make sure to include cauliflower in your regular diet to protect your body against inflammatory diseases like arthritis, ulcerative colitis, obesity, diabetes mellitus and bowel diseases. 5- It Has Detoxification Properties.
