DO YOU KNOW THAT ADULTS CAN HAVE ADHD?

You may think that only children can be hyperactive, impulsive and have trouble paying attention, which are the symptoms of ADHD. Actually, adults can have it too, but few are diagnosed and treated for it; some people are not diagnosed when they are young and find out later in their lives. Some ADHD kids outgrow it but many can still have it as adults. Adult ADHD affects men and women equally and people with it find it hard to: concentrate, follow directions, remember information and organize their tasks. This of course causes troubles at home, school and work, but there are ways to manage ADHD, develop personal strength and achieve success.
As a matter of fact, people with adult ADHD face many problems such as: chronic boredom, depression, anxiety, chronic forgetfulness, trouble concentrating, trouble managing anger, low self- esteem, impulsiveness, relationship problems, mood swings, procrastination and many others.
