OUR MISSION Healing the Culture exists because we believe that abortion and assisted suicide are the results of broken hearts in a broken culture. We heal those wounds by offering a fresh approach to ancient wisdom on happiness, love, suffering, freedom, and human rights.

We empower people to become witnesses of truth who confidently proclaim pro-life values. Our programs provide the best in respect life education. By training and equipping others, we convert exponentially more people who then become the hands and feet that build a culture of life.

CEO MESSAGE Twenty years ago, Fr. Robert Spitzer and I started Healing the Culture to fill a major gap in the pro-life movement − educating people in a deeper philosophy of the human person that brings about permanent and authentic pro-life conversions.

We promote the inalienable right to life of preborn children and their mothers, terminally ill persons, the elderly, and people with disabilities by advancing universal principles of logic, ethics, and justice. This is our life’s work. When enough people have made the deep and lasting transformation that occurs with real conversion and healing, we will have a culture of life.

Life Principles Academy Have you ever been tonguetied in conversations about why you are pro-life? Ever felt like you’re just not communicating clearly? Do you wish there was a way to really reach people who seem unreachable?

Life Principles Academies are unique, in-person training events that form and certify attendees as effective leaders in pro-life education and evangelization.

LPA for Students is specifically geared for pro-life college students who are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. Life Principles Academy for Students transforms young people’s ability to communicate the logic, ethics, and justice of the pro-life position.

We require a minimum attendance of 10 registered college students. All participants receive free course materials, free textbooks, a graduation certification, and a free subscription to our quarterly newsletter – LPA Quarterly.

PRINCIPLES & CHOICES Principles & Choices is an acclaimed respect-life curriculum that helps students master ten principles of logic, ethics, and justice and inspires them to live with purpose, moral integrity, and care for human life. Principles & Choices offers a focused, in-depth, systematic study of these issues and helps engender a lasting change of heart and mind.

OUR CURRICULUM The Principles & Choices program gives students a strong philosophical education in ten core principles that ground moral teachings on respect for human life, social justice, and other contemporary issues.

MEET OUR FOUNDERS Camille Pauley President

Camille Pauley is co-founder and president of Healing the Culture and the creator of multiple internationally acclaimed, educational pro-life programs. Under Camille’s leadership, Healing the Culture has grown into an internationally recognized organization with a powerful pro-life message, a wealth of successful products and resources, and tremendous influence in the cultural battle over abortion and euthanasia.

In over 30 years as a professional pro-life advocate, Camille has inspired politicians, judges, lawyers, medical professionals, and church leaders to defend the sanctity of human life. She has trained tens of thousands of students, teachers, religious educators, business leaders, and pro-life professionals. She has co-produced over 100 pro-life videos, has spoken to hundreds of thousands of people across North America and around the world, and has reached millions more through television, radio, and print media.

Fr. Robert Spitzer Chairman

Fr. Robert Spitzer is co-founder of Healing the Culture, and Chairman of the Board. He is the author of the philosophical work from which the organization takes its name and its mission. He has published two bestselling books on pro-life ethics and has been a world-recognized defender of the sanctity of life for over 30 years.

Fr. Spitzer is the founder of six institutes, including the Magis Center of Reason and Faith and the Spitzer Center for Ethical Leadership. He was the President of Gonzaga University from 1998-2009.

Fr. Spitzer has spoken to thousands of audiences, and has done ethics consulting for over 300 organizations, including Boeing, Caterpillar, Toyota, Costco, the British Prime Minister’s Cabinet, the leadership of Costa Rica, Protestant and Catholic leadership in Northern Ireland, and the Orthodox Church in Russia.

He has published numerous books and scholarly articles, produced dozens of video series, and speaks widely on prolife, the philosophy of science, philosophy of God, and ethics.
