My hair is naturally thick, frizzy and generally unruly, causing my morning routine to involve wrestling with a dryer and straighteners for at least an hour. And as I colour my hair, permanent straightening was never an option for me. That was all before I booked in for The Headmasters Brazilian Blow-dry. My hair was cleansed and rough dried, then the super hair nourishing treatment was applied section by section and sealed with straightening irons to lock in all that keratin. I obediently didn’t wash my hair for three days but once I did, I had that easy, swishy, just washed but not fluffy hair I have always wanted. It costs from £150 to £250 (length of hair depending) and lasts three months, needless to say I will be back! The Brazilian Blow-dry is only available in selected Headmasters salons. Smooth your hair with a Mason Pearson brush and gather at the nape of your neck to one side.

Hold the hair in place and divide into two equal sections. Pull a 1cm (or smaller) strand from underneath the back section into the middle of the two sections.

Next, take a small strand from underneath the front section and pull it into the middle. Simply keep repeating this until you reach the end of your hair (remember to make sure you always have two sections in your hands).

y colour is naturally a light brown, which I love in summer when my hair is sunkissed and I’ve got a tan but in winter it looks really drab and dull. What should I do?
