CURRENT CHALLENGES AND GAPS IN ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY

The lack of scientific evidence and standardized guidelines for mental health apps makes it difficult to provide reliable support and identify which apps benefit users.

Many anxiety applications lack robust emergency features and clear connections to crisis hotlines, resulting in users lacking resources and prompt assistance during extreme anxiety or crises.

POTENTIAL IMPACT ON THE TARGET AUDIENCE
