The kitchen was transformed into an open-plan dining and kitchen area, featuring bi-folding glazed doors and large skylights that allowed for ample natural light. An island with a sink was incorporated to enhance the flow of space, with materials carefully selected to align with the clients' preferences.

ARTS CENTRE
Undergraduate exhibition concept project
The urban strategy site's specifications aim to serve the needs of local residents, students, and children. A multifunctional space is planned to bring cohesion and organization to the city. Additionally, a water feature will showcase the River Sherbourne along Fairfax Street, with pedestrian and cycle paths running alongside it. Surrounding structures include the new library, art studios, cafe, public retail and offices with accommodations situated opposite the site.
SITE
Fairfax Street. Coventry, UK
The site comprises densely packed buildings featuring a bus depot and primary bus stop, overshadowed by a ring road elevated above. Human activity is limited, contributing to a sombre atmosphere. A main road borders the southern edge of the site, directing traffic towards the city centre.
CONCEPT
Bringing a sustainable and environmentally conscious design which brings the public and student community together with the theme of the arts and retail. An urban strategy bringing up the currently covered River Sherbourne as a water element and also removing the ring road to improve accessibility, and establishing a venue that fosters the convergence of diverse cultures.
