Bottle it up, up to the brim and close it. Tighten it and leave it. One day, trust me, it’llexplode and it’llbe the best thing that ever happened to you. “Lases”is about lapses. The ones you experience in your life, when you can do nothing but stare, stay speechless and wonder “wh, if anything, did this happen to me” It’seasy to forget that there are billions of other people experiencing life the same time as you as much as it’seasy to forget that you, are one of them. There is no hierarchy to sadness, there is no hierarchy to joy. You are a reflection of your experiences, your life. That makes you important. “Lases” goes through each phase and each emotion. Each poem is a raw testimony of survival. You are no less important and neither are your problems. Through the sectons of the book you’llbe confronted by the clowns of society, the fake “sef love”era and you’llbe crying. That’sa guarantee, but that’sthe point. Even firework’sexplode, it’ssupposed to be emotional. By the end of it, things will start to make sense and you’lllove yourself a little bit more. A little bit better. A “lase”is time to reflect on yourself, without the noise” A “lase”is hope.
