SpringCamp24,organizedbyHawlerLocalCommittee for this term, is finally happening this March during Ramadan! Get ready for an incredible 4-5 day camp brimmingwithexcitementandlearningopportunities!

We'llbehostingStandingCommitteesessions,engaging inmeaningfulprojects,improvingourmedicalskills,and exploring IFMSA trainings. Our aim? To ensure an unforgettableexperiencewhereyou'llacquirevaluable skillsandbeinspiredtoachieveyourgoals!Butwait, there'smore!

StrategicallypartneringupwithKurdistanFoodBank (KFB),ourtwo-daycharityeventplaysacrucialrole, enhancingitsinfluenceduringRamadan.Ourgoalis straightforward:tohelpfamiliesinHawlerbygiving them carefully prepared food packages. These families,selectedaccordingtoKFB'sstrictstandards, willreceivepackagesthataremeanttolastthemfora month,providingcrucialassistanceduringthissacred time.

Withafocusoninclusivity,wewelcomeallwhowish to participate, offering seats based on individual preferences and providing transportation to ensure accessibilityacrossHawler'sneighborhoods.Basedon thenumberofparticipants,theywillbedividedinto teams, with each team responsible for distributing foodtoadifferentneighborhoodoverthecourseof thetwodays.

Together,aspartofSpringCamp24,westrivetomake ameaningfuldifferenceinthelivesofthoseweserve.

Followingourformalopeningceremony,we'llinjectsome excitement into the atmosphere by heading to the Esporta Leisure Center. While the tournaments are underway,othermemberswillhavetheopportunityto indulge in various activities and games, ranging from lasertagandOkeytopoolandbeyond.There'ssomething foreveryonetoenjoyandengagewithduringthistimeof leisure.

CompetitionNightsandFinals!

CompetitionNightsandFinalsareanexcitingpartofour gatherings.WebeginwithadelightfulIftar,followedbya vibrantNewrozshow.Then,wedivideintoteamsfora seriesofcompetitiveactivitiesandgames.Theclimaxof thenightisthefinalmatchesofthefootballtournament, determiningthewinninglocalcommittee!

Eachnight,we'llbeexploringadifferentculture!Onthe thirdday,we'rehostingaMoroccan-themednightatthe University of Kurdistan Hewler. There will be an open buffet, followed by movies and fun activities aimed at fosteringsocializationamongmembersofdifferentLCs.

NewrozCelebrations&Show

To wrap up the Camp and honor the Kurdish New Year (Newroz),we'rehostingalivelycelebrationatChwarchra garden.Joinusforabigcampfireandanexcitingshow,as weshowcaseandembraceKurdishculture,sparkinglove andenthusiasminallattendees,trulybringingittolife foralltoenioy.

MidnightQallatRoam!

Following an engaging opening ceremony and social program, participants will embark on a midnight Qallat Roam through the vibrant city of Hawler. This leisurely walkwillshowcasethecity'srichhistoricaltreasuresand vibrant colors. Our final destination will be Machko, the oldest tea house in the city, where we'll wrap up our midnightexploration.

The second day will be packed with activities, competitions,andmore!Towinddown,we'llhavea midnight mini-picnic just outside of Hawler. Gather aroundthecampfirewithteaandenjoyachillvibe, singingunderthestarstoendthenightonapeaceful note.

For our late-night activities on the third day, we're headingtonootherthanBuffaloWings&RingsinHawler. Getreadyforkaraoke,trivia,andplentyoffuntomake thisanighttoremember.Plus,enjoysomedeliciousfood whileyou’rethere!

After a night of rest following our epic Newroz party closingceremony,we'llhoponbusesatnoonandstartour journey to Akre, the vibrant capital of Newroz. Our destinationpromisesanunforgettableexperiencewitha front-row seat to the entire ceremony, complete with fireworksandtorchesignitingtheKurdishspiritwithinus!

Once the celebration wraps up, we'll leisurely stroll throughthestreetsofAkre,takingintherichcultureand vibrantatmosphere.Fromthebustlingmainsquaretothe livelymarketarea.

Followingthat,We'lldiveintoaniftarfeastatXanedan restaurant,followedbyatasteofthefamousgoatice cream,abelovedlocaldelicacydatingbackto1958!

Asthedaywindsdown,we'llgatherforamemorable farewellevent,filledwithlaughter,socializing,andplenty ofphotoopstocapturethememories.Then,it'stimeto hopbackonthebusandreturntoHawler,ourheartsfull andourspiritssoaringfromanunforgettableadventure.

Note: There's an additional fee of 20,000 IQD for participants from Hawler, and 35,000 IQD for those outside Hawler. This covers transportation and one night's stay Every dinar will be worth the experience! ⚠
