located in the heart of the staffordshire countryside , weston hall is a magnificent grade ii listed building surrounded by 20 acres of breathtaking scenery . our team strives to deliver an array of exciting events throughout the year , giving our customers as many reasons to celebrate as possible . from national occasions to our own unique events , it ’ s our aim to provide great food and a friendly service in the beautiful surroundings of this staffordshire landmark .

O ur History

weston hall originated in 1550 when it was built as a small dower house. the house was then extended around 1660 into a three gable structure with three high pitched roofs. towards the end of the 19th century the house was taken over by shrewsbury settled estates, who built the fourth high pitched roof that we see today. in 1950 the godwin family bought the property and converted it into flats.

O ur Present

in early 2012, new owners took on weston hall, restoring the building to its former glory and re–opening in november 2012. the hall now incorporates ‘the cellar’, an informal dining venue and an event venue with luxury accommodation.

Westminster Suite

The Westminster Suite is the largest and most versatile space at Weston Hall, perfect for hosting your celebrations in style. Featuring two stunning stone fireplaces and charming oak beams, this grand room offers a warm and inviting ambiance. With a private bar and a custom-designed dance floor, your guests can choose between dancing the night away or enjoying a quiet catch-up with family and friends.

Shrewsbury Suite

The Shrewsbury Suite boasts breathtaking views of the Staffordshire countryside, making it a picturesque setting for your special day. Like the Westminster, this suite features its own private bar and dance floor. With elegant mullioned windows and an original stone fireplace, the Shrewsbury blends timeless charm with modern comfort, offering the perfect backdrop for your wedding celebrations.

Conservatory

Bright, airy, and intimate, the Conservatory is ideal for smaller civil ceremonies and wedding celebrations. Its private entrance allows for a more secluded and exclusive experience, making it perfect for creating cherished memories with your closest friends and family in a stylish and comfortable setting.

The Cellar

The Cellar offers a cozy dining area complete with a vibrant cocktail bar and lounge. As the evening unfolds, this intimate space transforms into a lively disco, providing the perfect atmosphere for you and your guests to let loose and dance the night away.

To The Saracens Head of Weston.

We’re all about creating a family-friendly atmosphere that welcomes everyone, locals and visitors alike. Our spacious, well-lit restaurant offers a beautiful view of the rolling Staffordshire countryside, with 2 semi-private spots perfect for larger gatherings.

Our bar is a cosy spot for casual dining and unwinding, and yes, your furry friends are invited too! We even have something special for them - our exclusive ‘Yappy Meals’. But that’s not all, The Saracens Head also houses 5 plush bedrooms for you to have an amazing overnight stay with us, complete with home-cooked breakfast. We also offer takeaways, so if you can’t stay, bring a piece of Saracen’s home with you!
