STEP 1 CREATE YOUR STUDENT PORTAL

Your MyHPU portal provides you access to the University, including your financial aid award, housing application, and class registration. Access the portal at my.hpu.edu.

APPLY, REVIEW, AND ACCEPT YOUR FINANCIAL AID

Ensure your full eligibility for financial aid by submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

• Create an FSA ID (a username and password that gives you access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems).

Available at studentaid.gov/fsaid/create-account/launch

• Submit your FAFSA.

Available at studentaid.gov.

HPU’s school code is 007279.

*You may also review and accept your financial aid award in your MyHPU portal.

Submit your $200 enrollment deposit in your MyHPU portal.

Submission of your enrollment deposit indicates your intention to attend HPU, opens access to the housing application, and begins a dialogue with your academic advisor about the class registration process.

If you are considering oncampus housing options, we recommend applying early as our housing inventory is limited. You can access your housing application in your MyHPU portal, and can find information about all housing options at hpu.edu/housing.

STEP 5 CONNECT WITH YOUR ACADEMIC ADVISOR

Our cohort advising model will enable you to develop a collaborative working relationship with a professional advisor.

First-year students will work directly with their academic advisor to finalize their class schedule, and transfer students have the opportunity to self-register within the MyHPU portal.

All deposited students are encouraged to attend an online advising webinar (hpu.edu/webinars).
