DEVELOPMENT PLANS

• The project has now been referred to the Building Safety Regulator.

• Initial dialogue has been held and application to BSR has been submitted.

• BSR will assess the project in due course, Inc. on the fire safety aspects.

• BSR have not yet committed to timeframes.

• Security of Community Garden and School House is being checked and maintained.

• Checks confirm no intrusion.

• Additional police visits / patrols around the estate

• Work proposed in the church yard to improve lighting to the site hoarding and removal of shrubs and bushes.

• Homeless team and charities have reached out to local homeless people.

• Hoarding-off of entrances to Parish Centre to be carried out.

TEMPORARY CAR PARK & CHURCH HALL

• Proposed temporary parish hall (cabin) and temporary car park only for the use of church congregation to alleviate parking pressures.

• Proposal will require temporary Planning Permission. Professional team will be employed to carry this out.

• Public consultation will be held via the Planning Department when the application is considered.

• Exploring option to provide Temporary Housing on WQS at Block 5.

• Temporary planning application to be submitted in due course. Public consultation will be carried out.

• Delivery of the units on site in early part of 2025.

• Development will have appropriate street lighting.
