When you’re ready for a caffeine pick-meup, there’s no better place than Pinewood Coffee. They roast in-house (you’ll see this coffee all over Waco!) and their mid century-inspired coffee shop has a vinyl player, a tree-shaded courtyard, and an adjacent pub that gets hoppin’ in the evening hours! @pinewoodcoffee

6. Fabled Bookshop

I try to stop by an independent bookshop in every city I visit, and Fabled Bookshop and Cafe is a lovely place for a latte and a new book. My two kids love this store, too - it has a Narnia-esque lamppost and a wardrobe entrance to the children’s section. @fabledbookshop.

Join us at the Wimberley Arts Fest held April 27th and 28th at The Waters Point Resort, a beautiful outdoor venue on the Blanco River that provides ample space and shade under its towering pecan grove. We're excited to host more than 100 artists from all over the country featuring a variety of mediums—sculpture, paintings, jewelry, furniture, pottery, photographs, textiles and more. There will be an abundance of art, continuous live music, food, wine and beer, and a car show sponsored by the 12 Kings Car Club, with more than 100 classic cars.

Admission is free and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.
