• Reduction and/or elimination of pain caused by increased stress on the the low back and hips with weight gain and changes in posture-naturally • Helps facilitate the best position for the baby in the uterus for birth (head down), by eliminating tension on the uterus due to tight ligaments (ie. round ligament) or bony structures like the sacrum being “in the way” • Shorter, easier labor with less risk of medical intervention (C-section, forceps, vacuum) • Faster healing and recovery during the postpartum months to come. WHEN I SHOULD I BEGIN HAVING THE WEBSTER TECHNIQUE PERFORMED?
The Webster Technique works best if administered as early as possible during pregnancy, as it typically takes several sessions to free subluxations and allow the mother’s spine and nervous system to adapt to its new way of being. It is recommended to have at least 4 weeks of adjustments to achieve the optimal head down position for birth. KEY POINTS TO ACKNOWLEDGE:
• The Webster Technique is not an obstetric maneuver. • Direct external forces on the baby are never used. • Dr. J does not physically turn babies. The woman’s body does, given the right help to remove pelvis imbalance. • The goal is to allow women and babies to have a glorious and triumphant pregnancy and birth, experienced as it is meant to be: full of joy and power!

By utilizing innovative digital technology, we are able to custom design smiles that fit each patient’s unique characteristics, such as lip line, face shape, even personality traits. A smile makeover is like buying a brand-new luxury car. Most of us would not think of buying a new car without a “test drive.” It is a serious investment, so we want to make sure our patients are comfortable with their new ride or in this case with their new smile. The process first starts out with combining a digital scan of our patients’ teeth and professional photos taken in our studio. A digital smile design or “blueprint” is then created to allow patients to visually see what their new smile could look like.

An in-office trial smile really comes in handy by allowing our patients to know beforehand what their dental work investment will provide them, and even fine-tune their makeover “blue print” before the actual work begins. Engage and Heal Foundation in Lake Travis WHY DID YOU START THE ENGAGE AND HEAL FOUNDATION?
It began with the creation of the Erik Hanson Scholarship in 2019. Erik was a highly accomplished 2017 Lake Travis High School graduate. He was my daughter's best friend and unfortunately died by suicide in August 2018. He was a varsity football player and an Eagle Scout, and then was a cadet in the Corps at Texas A&M. The foundation raised over $10,000 in his honor and awarded three $2,000 scholarships to Lake Travis football players who did not receive athletic and academic scholarships. Engage and Heal is an acronym for Erik’s name. The foundation is a community collaboration committed to shattering the silence of mental health and building a bridge for those who feel unheard and disconnected. We provide resources and education to better understand mental health and help those who are suffering. The road to help starts with a simple conversation. HOW DOES ENGAGE AND HEAL HELP LOCAL STUDENTS?
Based in Lake Travis, we have found that the availability of licensed therapists is in dire need. Hence, we have provided 2 licensed therapists willing to donate 1-2 hours/week across the secondary campuses to support the licensed social workers and help with low-income, under insured families. As we look to the 2022-23 school year, we will begin a community program engaging groups like Kardivas, Student Councils and PTOs to better understand mental health and how behaviors can be indicative of a mental health situation. We are partnering with Integral Care to host quarterly "Mental Health First Aid'' training for secondary school students and parents, and with NAMI (National Association of Mental Illness) to host "Peer-to-Peer" and "Parent-Teacher as Allies" training. If we can start a conversation surrounding mental health, we could save a life.
On October 6th during Mental Illness Awareness Week, we are hosting our first fundraiser with a one-of-a-kind event, Farm to Table(aux) at Pecan Springs Ranch themed Van Gogh's Artsy Night.
