charting the COURSE Under the direction of Hathaway Brown’s Joe Vogel, the Global Education Benchmark Group is hosting the third annual Global Educators Conference at Palmer Trinity School in Miami, Fla., this spring. Speakers include Bunker Roy, founder of Barefoot College in Rajasthan, India, a fully solar-electrified institution that was built and has been managed by the rural poor for 40 years; Loung Ung, activist, lecturer, and author of First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers; and Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, who was the first Hispanic woman elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, and serves as Chairman Emeritus of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa.
