Interior Studio II, 3rd Year Restaurant, refurbishment 2023 355 sqm.

Din Dang, Bangkok

Savor the taste of the Forbidden Fruit.

Surrounded by many typical restaurants and bistros, this fine dining restaurant was created, serving various fruit fusion and seasonal dishes to provide a fresh, new, and distinguish flavor to the customer in this area.

The design of Kitchen of Eden was inspired from story of the Garden of Eden and Forbidden Fruit from the Bible, resulted in the dining space under the artificial tree with balls of light that refer to the Forbidden Fruit and flexible light stick that resembles the snake. Space on the first floor is dimmer and looks more primitive, refer to The Garden, while the second floor, brighter and has more visual connection to the sky, refers to The Paradise.

Usage of natural materials and color scheme that picked from nature give organic vibes to the space. Upper floor plates are partially removed to let natural light shine down in the corner, resembling space under tree shade.

An urban hostel that designed to be a shelter for travelers who seek comfort at night, a tranquil place for them to take a rest under the starry sky which can hardly be found in the bustling city like Bangkok.

After entering the hostel, visitors will be led by linear line to each spaces, along with tiny constellations on the ceiling as signposts, all of them came from real constellations that people use as guiding stars. Main colors of POLARIS are muted blue and navy, resembling night sky, with copper and white as accent color.

08 2ND FLOOR COMMON AREA

Guestrooms are divided into 2 types, twin suite for two and dorm type, to accommodate different types of visitors. The guiding lines are continued into various plane and act as signposts. To compensate for minimum space, each room unit gets view from big windows, provide enough daylight and make the rooms look more welcoming.

To learn and to grow, in this fast-moving world The re-design project for Economics Documentation and Information Center (EDIC) aims to create a 21st century library, which embrace both the idea of digital library and the charm of traditional library, while celebrate the identity of Faculty of Economics.

RECEPTION

Planning and design process for EDIC are based on the faculty’s vision and mission; Creating knowledge, fostering learning culture, tackling social problems and promoting social sustainability in fast-moving world. Different zones are divided to serve for different types of user and function, in the middle is the digital library zone, focused on researching and news update, while co-working zone is located at the front and quiet zone at the back.

CO-WORKING ZONE – SEMINAR LAYOUT

Interior elements come from various shape and form, curved line from banknotes, symmetrical balance and order from faculty building, and up-and-down line from economical graph which will connect the whole space.

‘The Graph’ was applied to be a continuous element according to human ergonomic, it flows up from the floor plane, becomes tables, bookshelves, chairs, and then extended to the sides as shown in diagram on the left.

To make the library looks comfortable, welcoming and youthful, neutral color scheme is used for larger planes.

Meanwhile, black and gold are used as accent colors, and they are also the faculty’s color.

Apart from the built-in bookshelves and The Graph which helps define zoning, most of the furniture are loose furniture and can be rearrange to serve for multiple purposes, such as, group work, presentation, seminar, and other activities.

Home is where family is.

An interior project for the 3rd and 4th floor of an urban private residence. The aim is to create a relaxing home and workspace for a 36 years old lady and her husband, and a comforting home with rooms for family for her parents.

The third floor will be the owner and her husband’s residence. Their requirements are a homy house with youthful touch, corresponding to their fondness of Disney characters. The owner also need the house to be photogenic in every corner for her online content creator career too.

Meanwhile, her parents will live on the fourth floor, they require space for family gathering with homy and clean look, and space for their cat to play within their sight.

Material and furniture are selected to create homy and welcoming look with enough space for life to grow in. Curved forms are used as a connector between each spaces, while the overall style for both level is the minimal-classical style that can match with all users’ preferences.

On 3rd floor, many built-in cabinets are installed along the wall due to owner’s need to store fashion and work-related items. Also, figurine showcases are installed in the living area to store and show their figurine collections. In addition to the photo studio, small work corner is integrated into the living room, dining table can also be used as workstation too. This is due to the nature of owner’s work that isn’t limited to a single workstation and required aesthetic space to work in. Curved form in this floor also refer to the organic line of cartoon art that the couple adore too.

Fourth floor space planning will focus on family space for gathering and relaxing with a touch of the couple's favorite color, white and blue. Cats' playground is integrated into living space, letting the elderly couple spend most of their time with their favorite cat. A big dining table was brought in for family gathering on weekend. Main living space can get the pool view from the balcony, create a lively and cozy space to live in.

Thai restaurant, fine-dining grade. An experimental project in which food, color, and lighting are combined to create an exceptional dining experience where every details are designed to visually enhance various dishes of three selected courses.

The restaurant is divided into 4 main zones; • Reception, decorated by natural wood with warm light to enhance the essence of luxurious Thai space • Central hall with grand piano and lotus pond, here we use warm white, yellow, teal, and purple lighting to create a common space with color scheme that can along with different scenes that will appear in the dining area depends on each meal courses.

Located in the bustling site of That Thong Temple, surrounded by schools, temple, and department store, a new district office emerged with the intention to integrate people, community, and architecture together sustainably, and to give a new urban space to the neighborhood.

Intersection to open space

In this project, we aim to integrate people and space together to create a vibrant and inclusive neighborhood by using new path to connect the existing nodes (temple, schools, department store, and public transportation). These paths are used in layout planning of the project, in which the building will make way for pedestrians, and the intersection created by these paths will become a new node of the neighborhood in form of green and urban space that serve for all users and activities.

Lumphini Park, Bangkok

A music hall sited amidst magnificent view of nature in Lumphini Park, a new landmark of Bangkok as a stage for musical performances and relaxing space. We use biophilic design to help the architecture becomes a connector between the park and music.

To create a transitional between park and music chamber, we use the concept ‘Prelude’ which is an introductory piece of music that leads to an orchestral piece. Musical experience is translated in to spiral and elevated space with main chamber at its top and roof pathway that emerged from ground.

Suan Luang, Bangkok

Nowadays, many people choose to reside in rental apartment or condominium, especially in the big city like Bangkok. The reason behind is mostly due to work and communication issue. This design has intention to create a home away from home for them to rest and relax in.

Since the old days, one of the components that Thai houses always have is the patio or ‘chaan’, it helps indicate boundary and act as front of the house and also a transition space, so in addition to the practical planning and providing natural light and balcony to all units, the design also include a small ‘chaan’ in front of each unit, creating sense of a vertical village.
