The Fevolution Continues

Fev kicks 5.12 in his debut with Hastings It mattered little, though, as Hastings cruised to a 42-point home win over Devon Meadows in front of a large crowd at MP Commercial Linings Park - Thomas Barclay Oval. Hastings coach Ricky Ferraro was full of praise for 'Fev', who played 204 games at AFL level (187 with Carlton, 17 for Brisbane).

"He actually surprised me, he was actually leading out really well," Ferraro told the Frankston Standard Leader. "I just assumed he would stay at home and want the ball to be kicked to his advantage, but straight away from the start he was he was leading up, he was quick over the first 10 metres and our delivery to him wasn't too bad. "Also, he took some really good one-on-one contested marks and he was just smart as well, when the ball was on the ground instead of just jumping on it he kicked it towards the goal and our boys got on the end of those toe pokes." "He really enjoyed it, he said he's looking forward to coming back down," Ferraro added. "It wasn't just a cameo appearance, he's here to win and be successful, just like the rest of us."
