症例 A
歳，女性 脳腱黄色腫症
1年前に右下肢のもつれがあり，その後，階段昇降時に転びそうになる．半年ほど前にはドアのノブ が回せなくなり，アキレス腱の腫脹に気がつく．パーキンソン徴候，下肢優位の四肢腱反射の亢進，筋 力低下，アキレス腱の腫脹を認め本症の診断がついた．MRI では両側歯状核に高信号領域を認める (CD-ROM 図 1の矢印)．他のスライスでは小脳萎縮(非掲載)もある．
