Harvest Bridge 2023 Impact Report

A Word from our Executive Director

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.”

Luke 16:10a

I am writing this reflection after doing all of the interviews with our country leaders, which you’ll read in the following pages. Honestly, going into those conversations, I felt like the theme of the year was inflation, persecution, and manmade and natural disasters. Certainly as we were living out 2023, that’s what felt most prevalent. As you’ll see in the following pages, it was a year of difficulty due to extreme inflation, a significant increase in persecution, continued war, and historic levels of flooding. Yet, something that emerged from all of the interviews was almost an incredulity on the part of our country leaders about all that had been accomplished in 2023.

As we reflected together, it became clear this was also a year of miracles and growth. I have to admit, I share some of the amazement at all that God did through the 303 leaders we support in South Asia & Myanmar. And I’m excited for you to read about it in this report! But I shouldn’t be surprised, because I pray often over

each of our leaders that the work of their hands will be multiplied. I pray God will multiply their resources in the way He multiplied the fish and the loaves. In 2023, He absolutely did. We’ve always come alongside those who have done much with little, knowing that “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” (Luke 16:10a). We are living in the results of so much answered prayer. And a lot of long, hard, and faithful work.

Throughout all of the country pages, you’ll see the results of slow, patient, and faithful ministry. In Bangladesh, the missionaries served nearly 10,000 people through disaster relief this year, specifically serving communities who were otherwise overlooked for government help. They were only able to do that effectively because of decades of relationship building and earning trust with government officials, religious leaders of other faiths, and village elders. In Bhutan, after two and a half years of Covid-19

lockdowns, gathering in groups became possible again. The hard work of adapting to exclusively small group meetings or online ministry and meeting people in their struggles during the long Covid-19 years led to more people being baptized this year than in any year past - 120 men and women! In India, Priya* secured legal rights for Gypsy and Tribal groups. She worked toward that for 25 years!

Thank you for entrusting us with your resources. We are honored to steward these gifts. Thank you for standing with us in prayer. They are heard. Pastor Shalva* in Nepal says it best: “We salute you with heartfelt gratitude. May Almighty God bless you and help you to support the ministries around the world who are unable to do without someone’s assistance. We have achieved so much by your prayerful, sacrificial support.”

In Christ, Kate Therese, Executive Director

WHAT WE DO

We have one goal: To come alongside local ministries in South Asia and Myanmar. Harvest Bridge does not create local ministries, but equips those that already have proven themselves to be effective. We join our brothers and sisters who have done much with little.

Local country leaders identify those who are doing the hard, often thankless, unpublicized work of reaching their villages and cities with the love of Jesus. This happens through ministry like disaster relief, women’s empowerment programs, educational opportunities, poverty

alleviation, and by the power of sharing the Gospel. In many ways, we act as a bridge between South Asian ministries and the Western church, including other nonprofits and individual supporters. This bridge is needed because wise, effective, experienced missionaries

280 New leaders were trained for ministry often do not receive needed support or training because they don’t speak English, or because they serve too small a demographic, or because they are not equipped to articulate the importance of their work. We believe that local ministries should and can be self-sufficient. We also

A Living Sacrifice

Very personally, we tried to follow His Word as He said in Romans 12:12. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. I try to prepare our missionaries to live a sacrificing life for the Lord. They are growing little by little, becoming meaningful leaders, and now they are prepared and becoming strong in faith by the blessing of the Lord. Sister Raba* is one of these leaders:

“I was thrilled to write this, as these months have been full of blessings. In the recent months, I have preached the Gospel in various places. One of these areas was [a] slum area where I visited multiple times and preached to a group of 83 people. Me and six co-workers went to [nearby] areas to distribute blankets among needy people. We regularly visited different places and showed Jesus Film and other videos among people and many watched them with positive interest. I, with my coworkers, have distributed Holy Bibles among people in the slum. I continued serving my local church

regularly, and also conducted Bible studies with the new believers. I visited some slum children and shared stories from scripture and talked with them about my loving God. In recent months, we formed a church where we usually sit for worship. We were able to form four house churches around this slum area for the glory of the Lord. Beside this, I preached among the elderly people, and provided them with adult education.

I want to thank God that He chose a person like me to serve His Kingdom. Before, I never thought in my life that I will be doing His ministry works. Working for Christ brings new challenges and experiences, and blessings for me. I had to face lots of insults and persecution many times for doing God’s work. Local community people brought charges against me as I preached among many people in the name of Jesus. I had to face the judges. People call me ‘religion traitor’ and hate me. Sometimes, the challenges are too hard to face but I always try to look up to my savior Lord Jesus as He said in Matthew 5:11-12, ‘[11] Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against

10

you because of me...’ Every single day brings a new example for His faithfulness.”

SERVING DURING CRISES

We overcame the whole year with struggle; in the year of 2023 the inflation hit our general daily life. It made an unpleasant situation to every life, more than the previous years. In the same way, natural disasters are also coming up. Because Bangladesh is a coastal country and the world environmental weather issues have led to unseasonal or unexpected disasters, Bangladesh is the sufferer. Also, there was an alarm to the nation about obtaining the national election and it made us frightened.

But, praise God, our church planting ministry is blessed by the love of

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:1-2

HB and its tremendous support to us. Harvest Bridge makes our dream possible – to implement His vision. The love, including the financial support, was the most important, encouraging and exciting matter to our ministry in Bangladesh. The whole year was so blessed, although we passed a hard time.

HB supported in disasters like cold weather, and storms and cyclone devastation, standing beside us as we provided the commodities and provided the relief several times, several ways. It was a very good and helpful matter that HB supported many people getting medical help; sometimes little, sometimes big. We were excited a lot of times as HB did what the Holy Bible says in Matthew 25:35-40: “[35] For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you

gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in…. [40] The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

TEACHING ACROSS GENERATIONS

“I had the opportunity to mentor children in our fellowship, where we shared Bible stories and had lovely moments together. It was heartwarming to see the children’s excitement and innocence as they learned about the Bible. We also had the chance to meet their parents during our fellowship, most of whom were women. When their parents invited us over, we had the privilege of meeting their grandparents. We shared the Gospel with them as well.” ~ Sister Kabya*

11
“Because they are the new believers and hungry to know and learn more about Jesus and His Salvation, and this children’s Bible with pictures is working among the hearts of those who cannot read.”

We are thankful to run the evangelism with many tools, like distributing 1870 Bibles, including 650 children’s Bibles. These have been impacting a lot of people, not only children, but also the elderly. Because they are the new believers and hungry to know and learn more about Jesus and His Salvation, and this children’s Bible with pictures is working among the hearts of those who cannot read.

PERSECUTION AND ANSWERED PRAYER

In 2023 HB supported four leaders who rescued 288 children and women from the traffickers. Chara* is one of the leaders:

“I am experiencing lots of threatening. Because I am serving as rescuer at the different slums and stations of transportation, I have become the enemy to traffickers and extremists. They are frightening to me because I have two daughters. At any time, they might come to destroy or do a bad work. Being their enemy is life risking here in Bangladesh.”

The most difficult parts of the year were due to persecution. There were three times when we had a baptism date fixed up, but had to be canceled because of threatening. Missionary Rahul’s* fishponds were poisoned again and he suffered big money losing. One church had false

cases brought against it by local leaders, and people broke the windows, doors, roof, tines and everything. After being beaten, a missionary was helped financially for her source of income, and with medical treatment, by the leadership of HB. Through HB supporting, we could also take lawful action during false cases against us. So, a lot of difficulties we faced, but Lord is our living Lord, and kept us to stand on His Word very strengthened.

“We have some new believers who come from a Hindu background. After they accepted Jesus and received baptism, a few people from their area started tormenting

BANGLADESH 12

them by mocking their faith and claiming they only converted for money. They even threatened to throw them out of the community and came to beat them once. However, these new believers remained steadfast in their faith and did not give in. We started praying for them. Our church and its members provided support and helped them maintain their peace.”

“Last month a co-worker of mine was called by the village chairman and the police after preaching the Gospel and baptizing people. They called him a religious traitor and worse. He was taken away by the police and the village chairman. We decided to rescue him and prayed for God to touch their hearts. Although he was detained for a long time, we continued to pray for him. By the grace of God, we were able to rescue him that day. I believe it was because of our prayers that God spoke to the mind of the chairman and the police, and they were forced to release him. Glory be to God.” ~ Pastor Raad*

Very personally I would like to share as David says in Psalm 121: “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where

does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”

So, above mentioned are a lot of works that have been impacting our church planting ministry and the Lord has been glorified through His people. Pray for the new souls and all the church members of Bangladesh and our missionaries preaching and sharing through His Word. We hope His Kingdom work will be continued by your loving prayers and cares.

A Year of Fellowship and Miracles

Bhutan was the last country in the globe to open up to outsiders or even let their own people out after Covid lockdowns. The lockdowns lasted until September 2022. So in 2023 pastors and all the missionaries, they were feeling good after much relief from the Covid situation. We were emphasising all the time Isaiah 40:31. Never ever give up. You may appear like you are losing, but just wait on the Lord. This year, God promised that He will make everything new. You know, like a year of provision. In the entire year, I personally was seeing progress in the spiritual realm, in the ministry realm. And God has been so good. We got so many opportunities to reach new places. It was a busy year, in fact, the busiest year ever, in terms of ministry.

A TIME TO GATHER

The missionaries could go around here and there to do ministry. There were good meetings that took place, like youth meetings, and some retreats, a few marriage seminars, and family camps we could conduct in different places. On the India border, in our seminary, every two months we had fellowship. We also had a Christmas celebration for 80

missionary families. We could bless them, and they were so happy. Then we opened the program for outsiders, and we had a Christmas play, not in the usual way, not in a boring way. We had dancers and story all put together. We invited the neighbourhood people expecting 200 people, and around 600 people came!

Pastor Tandin* had one of the most encouraging moments this year: “As we were having our women’s seminar in a hotel near China, we were running short of funds to cover the expenditures. But by faith we moved to the hotel and had a very powerful seminar. At the end of the seminar we invited the owner of the hotel, who was a Buddhist from birth. We prayed for the blessings of the hotel and his family. The LORD touched him while we prayed. He testified that he had a very new experience while we were praying. When the retreat was over and when we went to settle the bills, the owner had already ordered his accountant to excuse $365 and requested us to continue to pray for his family and business. He has become so interested in Jesus and started to ask for stories about Jesus. We are in constant touch with him.”

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

One thing that is very, very much encouraging is that the youths are actually doing good. They are fire brands. The youths are really coming up very well. We have got a lot of hope as they are tomorrow’s leaders for the church. Shoipa*, 26, was one of those youth and now she is one of our missionaries:

“I have been involved in various ministries including leading worship, translation, assisting the Pastor in the Sunday Services, Sunday school and also teaching students at the Bible college. Recently, God has primarily used me to mould and guide young girls for ministry. I am actively involved in the student ministry. I conducted a student seminar. It was so successful and I could minister to around 55 students with the Word of God.”

FROM CHAOS TO JOY

Despite the lifting of Covid restrictions, in the month of September 2023, the government has announced there should not be any meetings, no gatherings, political or anything due to the upcoming elections, which they had in January. Another difficult thing was the inflation has raced to its peak. Generally, the countrymen are going through a season of frustration. Tourists are not coming. So they have a lot of shops, a lot of hotels, a lot of restaurants empty. The business is slowed down. Because of that, the offerings are affected in the church. It would have been much more difficult without HB, because 75% of the missionary support is covered by Harvest Bridge, very honestly.

17
BHUTAN
“The year of 2023, God had promised is the year of seeing God’s miracle. There were 120 baptisms this year. For a country like Bhutan, it is really a big number.”

In 2022, it was all chaos, but last year it was, by the grace of God, it was all right. The year of 2023, God had promised is the year of seeing God’s miracle. There were 120 baptisms this year. For a country like Bhutan, it is really a big number. And the persecution last year, it was not much.

There is also a great joy among the Christian community and most of the citizens because the government has introduced a new system. See, a lot of people were frustrated without having citizenship. To make it clear: though they were staying inside the country for over 20 years, 30 years, they were staying without citizenship. Only having some road permit. They cannot have any privileges. But thousands and thousands were issued citizenship in 2023. Especially Christians.

Sister Dawa*, was one of these:

“After years and years of prayer requests for the citizenship for my family and for the people who do not have CID (Citizen Identity Card), finally our prayers were answered by God. In the month of April, my elder son and daughter received the citizenship identity card. Me and my younger son are on the way towards

getting CID. I am really grateful for the prayers answered, not only for me but for almost 90% of the people who were struggling in their life with no CID in Bhutan.”

THE POWER OF PRAYER

There were many answered prayers. Pastor Taku* saw God work miraculously in an unexpected way:

“This year the monsoon was horrible, as continuously it was downpouring for over a week at a time. A few of our fellowship members are daily wage earners. Due to the heavy rain, they could not go for work, which has brought a tough time for many of our fellowship members. The main need was daily bread. I called everyone to the fellowship place, and we earnestly prayed for a miracle. As we were praying, we heard the noise of someone knocking at the door. I went and opened and found that one of the village leaders (not a Christian, a Buddhist) was there saying he wanted to donate 10 days ration for all the church families as he was compelled in his spirit that he must help us. We explained the situation and thanked him. He was astonished to witness how

18

God works and he also said that he will pray to Jesus who hears his children’s prayers. Now he is in the process of accepting the LORD.”

Pastor Joshua* describes a near death experience that he and two other missionaries survived: “In June, myself and other church leaders were coming back from a leaders’ meeting. Our brother lost control of his car and the car fell 15 feet down from the highway. All of us three in the car were thrown. As I opened my eyes, I saw a deeper valley where the car was stopped by a tree trunk. If we had not been thrown, we could have fallen hundreds of feet further down in the

valley. I thank God for saving my life from the pit of death.”

Phuntsho* shared: “According to Psalm chapter 9:9-10, God protected us in every manner. I was persecuted by district police officers while I was preaching the gospel. They put me in jail for two days and warned me not to preach again. They wrote a statement, and after signing that I was released. It is very risky to do ministry in our area. God worked in this way: In the month of April they forwarded my case to a district court. According to the charge sheet, I actually should have to be in jail for four years as per the law, as I was accused of preaching

the gospel. As a church, we all came together in fasting and prayer. The next day, I received a call from the judge saying that my case was settled and I did not have to go to court. I was surprised to hear that, and thank God for our prayers. God’s ways are always powerful.”

Pastor Pasang* gives thanks on our behalf: “I would like to express my gratitude to you for your support, love, and prayers. We work diligently for God, and there are times when His ministry feels challenging. Your prayers and support are always needed. Thank you once again!”

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

The year of 2023 has been a mixed experience year. On one hand, Covid pandemic was finished, on the other hand, the fear of persecution and struggles to sustain the ministries among inflation and threats set in. It is almost unanimous among pastors that inflation after Covid-19 is a significant issue that has an impact on their personal life and ministry. The cost of essential items has gone so high and the income from church is less compared to the inflation. Politically, doing ministry is challenging in North India. The present central government is strongly for the spread of Hinduism and against all the minority groups, especially Christians and Muslims. It is affecting not only Christians, but Muslims and Buddhists. Even those who are from lower castes of Hindus are also being affected by their caste system. This has an ultimate effect on the ministries too. Pastors are doing ministry with tenseness and insecure feeling. Many house churches are closed down. So, the people are afraid. And these are the reasons why we were not always able to complete our goals.

In 2023, we faced obstacles in the ministry, but God has been merciful

to us and has shown us His favour in our lives. God has revealed His protection and provision through His Word in Psalm 23 and 121. I (Suraj) would like to convey my heartiest thanks and sincere appreciation for your prayers and financial support, by which we were able to conduct all our ministries and social services. This helped us and our communities, not only to survive but also to share the love and message of Christ and provide relief during these challenging times. Our daily needs were also met; without your support it would not be possible.

Although despair and anxiety have been with us, in the book of Job, the story gives us strength to encourage other leaders with the Word of God. I (Philip) told the leaders that Job reminds us how the blessing of the Lord came. I told them, “You are persecuted. At this time you are in fear.” Then, I told them, “Job did not deny God. You have not denied God so far. In future also, don’t tell Moulvis (Muslim religious leaders) that we do not know Jesus. Then, you are denying Jesus.” And it was encouraging for so many of our leaders. Then, in front of the Moulvis, they have good testimonies. They talked on the topic of

23

the Quran and the Bible, and were standing with Christ. We were excited to see new leaders coming in the Lord, giving their selves to Jesus and excited to preach the Gospel. As the song says, “I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back.”

EQUIPPED FOR DAILY MINISTRY

By the prayerful financial support we were able to meet ministry requirements and also personal needs. These are some examples:

Indu* lives in an outskirt village in Bihar with her three children. She is a widow from Hindu background. She was working as a maid servant. Without the husband it was already tough upon her to support her family and growing children in this poor village. They were already going

“I thank HB who helped me in my ministry by distributing football and cricket uniforms. God has opened the way to serve among youth with drug addiction through sports ministry.”

through poverty and hunger and on top of that faced the flood disaster in July which made them shift to the higher place at a nearby railway station platform. They were going through hunger when they received the food packets. They were grateful to receive it and joy filled their faces.

“I thank God and Pastor Philip and his team, who helped me to buy a horse. Through that I am able to run my family and share the Gospel with the tourists while they are riding the horse as customers.” ~ Abdul*

“Beside doing ministry, I am a farmer and used to work for other people. Sometimes I got work and sometimes not. I was praying that God would give me wisdom so I can start my own work, but I was

not sure what to do as I am not so educated and I don’t have my own land for farming. But in the month of September, Sister Priscilla came to me and suggested that I start the grocery shop locally, because there are very few shops available. God heard my prayers and blessed me to start the small shop from where I live with my family.” ~ Hassan*

After attending a pastor’s conference in Odisha, Pastor Dinesh* shared: “I learnt about church growth method. I applied the same method in our church. Now, by God’s Grace my family members and all the congregation are equipped on how to worship through songs and do personal evangelism and also do preaching and teaching the Word of God.”

24
INDIA
“They don’t have enough money to buy a Bible, but God gave me this opportunity to do this work through your support. The Bible reached those poor people.”

“I thank God for giving me a chance to be His Witness. I was praying and God heard my prayers. I thank HB who helped me in my ministry by distributing football and cricket uniforms. God has opened the way to serve among youth with drug addiction through sports ministry. I have made two teams and all are seekers, who want to know more about our saviour Lord Jesus Christ.” ~ Azlan*

“My name is Mahesh*. I am from a village in Maharashtra. I believed in Lord Jesus since two years ago. I am in very poor family. I didn’t have money to buy Bible. But I got it from God’s servant, Pastor Pradeep*. I got the Bible for free. I thank God for that.”

“I am Pastor Saran*. Jesus gave me the opportunity to do Bible distribution in a village in the month of May. Persecution is going on there. In such persecution, God gave us the opportunity to do the work of Bible distribution in those places. They don’t have enough money to buy a Bible, but God gave me this opportunity to do this work through your support. The Bible reached those poor people. One reached the hands of a sister named Sunita* who

belongs to a Hindu family. She is a believer in Jesus Christ since last four years. Tears welled up in her eyes and she kept that Bible near her. We saw that people are very hungry and thirsty for the Word of God. This work was very successful and blessed by your prayers and God made my journey successful. I thank you all.”

IN THIS WORLD YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE

Later in the year, Pastor Saran and his wife Sundhya* were arrested. While Saran and his wife, along with other believers had been praying for a sick child, a radical Hindu organisation came there and called the police to take action. Police took them. Since their mobile phones were seized by the police, we could not communicate for long time. Since then, we have regular communication and we are encouraging him, trying to counsel the family and restore their mental health. They had been tortured physically and mentally. Due to fear from the Hindu activist groups, most churches are shut down, even local pastors are hiding. There is none from locality to stand with them. But Harvest Bridge supported for legal,

25

police also beat us a lot. I and my wife were sent to jail. We endured a lot of struggle and difficulties. Our children remained in sorrow for a month. They cried every day and asked ‘where are mom and dad?’. Their education stopped, the church was closed, our health deteriorated and even today we are surrounded by persecution. But because of your prayers God has been helping us.”

The most difficult part of 2023 was anti-conversion laws and regular vicious propaganda and threats through media. There was persecution of believers and planned attacks upon pastors and churches. Certain groups of individuals are physically assaulting and intimidating. Many places prayer cells have been closed. Whatever our pastors and missionaries do, some local people try to stop our work. Even when we help someone they stop us to help.

I (Priscilla) am encouraged by the word of God in John 16:33: “I have told you these things, so that in me

told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me.” That whole chapter is like that: the world hates the disciples. And I came to know personally this persecution. I was praying for my persecutor and asking, “Why is he doing that?” And through this verse, I got to know, like…yes, obviously he’s going to hate me. Because the world hates the disciples. It’s an encouraging word of God. That helped me a lot throughout 2023.

TRANSFORMED LIVES

Badri* is one of the newly supported missionaries and shows how hearts can change:

“I am very happy to share my testimony among you. I came from a Hindu background and my village is surrounded by hills. I was actively against Christian work because

26

there were no Christians in my area. But finally, [after meeting a Christian], God chose me for His work and I came to Christ. And now I am a good follower of Christ in my village. I have a wife and four children. We are worshipping the real and living God, but my family (parents and siblings) still do not believe in Christ. Please pray for my family. Now my wife and children are very happy to be doing ministry of Christ in our area. I am very much thankful to God and also you for joining me in ministry.”

Signs and wonders have been powerfully performed by God through our pastors and missionaries. Many people were saved through them. Many people were healed, many were delivered, and the best part was many followed Jesus by taking water baptism – 843 new believers were baptised. 92 new house churches and churches were planted in 2023. Sister Anya* shared a miracle, similar to many stories from 2023:

“Ayush* is 8 years old and he lives next to our church. He is part of our Sunday School, but his family did not attend our church service. One day he was playing along with his

friends in his school and while he was playing, unexpectedly he fell on the floor unconscious. The school staff called to his parents and took him to the hospital. Doctor took him and kept him in intensive care unit and declared he was in a coma. They didn’t know when he will return to normal life. After 50 days in the hospital, his father and mother came to church. They were requesting us to help them with prayer. While we were praying, we felt Ayush would be healed. Very next day we heard Ayush came out of the coma into normal life. Because of supernatural healing, Ayush’s parents received Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. They said, ‘We would like to give thanks to God forever and also to the pastor.’”

GATE (GYPSY AND TRIBAL EMPOWERMENT)

2023 starts very good actually. But after a few months it’s so much hard time to handle. Because the Gypsy and Tribal people and pastors lost many things in COVID and after that, flood comes, and after that, a lot of sickness comes in their area. It’s very hard to handle. Emotionally, physically, they suffered a lot. Hardest part is flood. It destroyed

all. No homes - without clean water, without food. People couldn’t sleep for three, four days continuously. And it takes time to recover, even a month and two months later. The flood has damaged everything. They lost everything.

I (Priya) want to say to those who gave in 2023, I am thanking them. To all who supported us, it’s a very grateful thanks. Prayer support and financial support. Our pastor team also are thanking. Every month support is received from Harvest Bridge for relief package, and the covid, and more. Even babies - if you had not supported for GATE ministry, the babies surely die. So, you saved a lot of children and elderly people. Just in December, we helped 2500 families, like 12,500 people, with food and clothing and shelter. You saved a lot of souls in GATE ministry. So really, I’m so happy to say thank you. Really, I want to hug you all. I don’t know how to expose my feelings, so it’s hard to say, but you touch us, you are in our hearts.

Encouraging part in 2023 is the 13 pastors doing the ministry with me gathered and prayed to God and it helps them to be more stronger and stronger. Physically, pastors

were affected and mentally they were like sick. They asked “who will relieve us?” So in that moment, for our team, Isaiah 41:10 was our most encouraging word to each other: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” It brings us like more stronger and stronger to do our ministry. The pastors never give up. The pastors never say “Oh Priya, this is a really hard time, so I couldn’t go for the Gypsy mission.” They never said to me. So that’s encouragement for me.

One of the best parts of this year: we applied for the ID cards and got them for 516 people so far. This is the first time the tribespeople are getting this, and it is through our GATE! Aadhaar card is the most important for all the Indian people, that’s our identity card. So, I applied for Aadhaar, ration card and voter card for the people. This is very important. For the first time, the people are going to vote. Actually, people are saying here that the Gypsies and Tribals are not Indians. Once they get their identity card, they are treated like human beings. We are planning for

28

the big celebration because many years they have waited. You know, 70-80 year-old people, they didn’t get their identity cards till now. For generations they have been fighting for it. I call it freedom fighting.

To make this happen, I went to the media and the newspapers. And everyone looks, the political people look. Now, the government says, “Priya is coming. No, no, no, what does she want? We are happy to give, just ask her to stop going to the media!” I’m so happy and I’m so proud because when I started this small ministry like very simply, no one respect me. Everyone looked at me like, “What’s she going to do? What, she is a woman?” But now God is always walking in front of me, opening all the doors. And I am entering. So GATE is doing so much, so many works. And people are happy. They are no more like slaves. They are going to be a freedom people. I feel happiness when I think that.

As I told you, Isaiah 41:10 gives me so much revelation. Because all the Gypsies are learning lessons and God is saying that nothing is impossible. That’s the word I got from God. People are following me

to Jesus Christ so they can also know the love of God. So most of the people have accepted Jesus Christ now. After a few years, the whole community will have accepted Jesus Christ. They will be in heaven. So that’s my revelation. All the Gypsies and Tribal people in heaven with me to rejoice, “Praise God, praise God!”

EXCITEMENT TO GROW

In 2023, God was working in our families, and He was working within our leaders’ ministries. We are growing in faith and prayer, and we are getting courage. And we are receiving God’s Word deeply, and there is excitement and desire there to grow in God’s ministry. In difficulties, we are ready. One time in a month, we gather all the ministry leaders in our area for a spiritual meeting to worship. In this, God’s Spirit speaks to His sheep from His Word. And our spiritual encouragement happens, and we have great courage. We are all growing in prayer together. Compared to before, we are now in prayer more.

Within this past year, what was good for the ministry was that God gave the opportunity for us to go to

new places and locations. So, this is a very happy thing for us, that God is using us and souls are being saved of new people in new villages and there are new worship and prayer meetings that have started. We are excited through your support that we will reach our goals in 2024.

Praying for Breakthrough

Like me, every pastor is involved in tracts ministry, hospital ministry, school ministry, village ministry, personal evangelism, youth meetings, and children’s ministry. Pastor Yash* shares an example of what this looks like through the year:

“In the tracts ministry and personal evangelism, we have distributed 400 tracts of different languages to Tamil, Telegu, Ranchi, Bengali, and local (Hindi) speaking people. In the month of April, we conducted a special fasting prayer at [a remote island] and it was a blessed one. 10 new people along with the existing 10, came for prayer and received healing. This area is undeveloped, with no electricity, no water connection, and is two hours away by small boat journey. There are a total of around 200 people living on that Island. In the month of May, we have conducted a children’s program of 5 days VBS in the church. 30 children attended. Bible stories, along with skits, song with dance, games, competitions, etc., were in the program. In a youth meeting, we taught the youths to pray. They were so blessed and testified that ‘we learned how to pray and meditate on the Word.’ 17 youths gathered in that meeting and it was

very motivational. We also provided counselling to married couples in the month of August.”

HIGHS AND LOWS

The most difficult part of the year was that during June to November, it was as usual rainy, but this year was a little high. Especially during the month of September, it was very heavy rain. Because of incessant rain, movement was curtailed and we could not do any outdoor meetings and it was the difficult time. Pastor Venu* and Jaipal* we helped with special funds because their houses flooded. In our area four churches, including mine, and hundreds of houses were flooded.

As per the words of almost all the pastors, inflation was a very big issue; it affects the personal life and ministry very much. The cost of essential items has gone so high. Most of the missionaries used the monthly support for their family food needs. Ministry tools received in 2022 were also used in 2023chairs, raincoat, emergency light, travelling bag, umbrella and Bibles and also the tracts provided were so much useful in ministry.

“In a youth meeting, we taught the youths to pray. They were so blessed and testified that ‘we learned how to pray and meditate on the Word.’”

I would like to say to supporters that we are praying for their good heart to support ministry, we are praying for more grace and peace in their life. We don’t know who is supporting, but God knows and He will surely bless each and every one who supports us.

According to most of the pastors’ view, our missionary fellowship and support was so much encouraging for the ministry. Every other month we will assemble and pray. And normally myself and another pastor or minister will teach from the Word of God. So, all the pastors are so much encouraged. We also pray for Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and for India, and for Harvest Bridge. We all grew in the Lord through the Word and prayer. God strengthened and encouraged us through the Word of God from Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble.” God strengthened us throughout the year in the midst of many troubles from inflation, political situations, illness, persecution, rain, etc.

STANDING IN THE GAP

By seeing the conditions prevailing in 2023, I felt more prayers are

needed to drive out the demonic forces which brings many obstacles in the lives of believers as well as pastors. See, darkness is everywhere. In Andaman, it is a separated place. Most people are addicted to tobacco and alcohol. All the islands are far. So, since they are separated from the mainstream, whatever they want to do, they are doing. So, they are indulging in many evil practices.

So, to break the evil practices, prayer is our weapon, isn’t it? Without the prayer, how can we break it? So God has given the

verses, like I Tim. 2:1-3: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior.” II Chronicles 7:14 shows that the people of God have to come out from the evil practices. It means, still we need to have unity, still we need to have purity, still we need to have longing with God. Ezekiel 22:30 says, “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” So, based on these Bible verses, we are praying for the breakthrough. It is our prayer and God is doing slowly.

PATIENCE IN MINISTRY

See, 99% of converts are Hindu. How they are coming [to Jesus] is similar in many ways. We can say that many of them are coming by healing. Recently, one lady is coming for the past three weeks to my church. What she says is, “I am only coming for the healing. Don’t, don’t change me. Don’t convert me.” Like

this, people are coming. When they come and see the miracle, then after that conversion and other things take place. After receiving the blessings we lead them into Christ and they become God’s child. That’s what I see in my personal experience.

Pastor David* shares an example of this: “Mr. Manrayar*, age 34 years, by faith Hindu, was facing a lot of financial hardship and decided to

commit suicide. At the place where we are doing our gospel preaching and praying for the deliverance for the sick people, for the heavily burdened, bonded, captives, those in debt - he heard our prayers. He thought, ‘Why are these people praying for these people who are not believing the Lord Jesus?’ He understood from the preaching that Jesus loves everyone and offers life to those who hear His words and believe that Jesus is Lord. This

speech changed his mind from committing suicide and he got encouragement. Then he started reading the Bible and attending prayers.”

However, Pastor Kishor* explains, “Many people are accepting the Lord Jesus is God, but the problem for them is whether Jesus is the only God.” That’s why you can see, in 2023 only 39 people took baptism. Very less. See, Pastor Jacob* gave 10 people baptism.

Those people were 20 years in the church! We can’t force them. We are teaching, we are teaching. When they completely surrender and are obedient to that truth, then we are giving baptism.

The most encouraging part of 2023 for me personally is that we were able to start weekly one hour prayer at night with the church believers and other non-believers. 50 small house church fellowships were

started this year! We must make every church a Bethel. For this we started prayer on every Tuesday in the believers’ houses by appointing the area leaders to lead this prayer. We want to make the believers as disciples. A disciple is one who disciples others also. That’s the main focus. In 2024, I am excited to see the breakthrough in the church filling with souls. And that breakthrough will come through prayer only.

Myanmar Build A House and Plant A Garden

It is my (Pan’s) great privilege to tell you what the Lord has done through the past year. Firstly, I want to thank our God, and secondly I want to thank HB and all the staffs and all the donors for the sacrificial giving toward the ministry here. Though there were many challenges for our missionaries; they still are faithful to the Lord and boldly preached the Word of God in each of their areas. It taught me to be more faithful to the Lord as I continue to serve the Lord and I am always encouraged by their ministry efforts.

The Junta forces imposed new travel restrictions, blocked access to roads and destroyed non-military supplies, attacked the innocent civilians, and shut down all telecommunications services. They attacked health facilities and medical workers and have seized food deliveries and medical supplies enroute to the displacement sites and arrested people suspected of supporting the PDF (People’s Defence Force). What the Junta says is becoming a rule. What they say is a law. That is why we, as ministers of God’s work, have faced many challenges because of all of those things.

In 2023 the missionaries say despite all these crises, many of them have achieved their plan during the year. So they have been so thankful for that. The Lord has been answering the prayer. Most of us have learned in the three years since the coup, to be humble, long suffering and patient. In 2023 we have been waiting and learning great things from God, I think more than in the past. So I (Thang) think that is one of the reasons that we have come to the book of Jeremiah chapter 29. Book of Jeremiah says, “You are a slave in Babylon.” A lot of people say, “You are a slave, do nothing, just, you know, stay here.” But God said, “You have to build a house. Build a house and live there, plant a garden and eat the food that you grow. And then try to be at peace with the people where you live.” So I think that is one of the very exciting scriptures for me. It is a great challenge, you know?

RESPONDING AND PREPARING FOR THE WORST

In April we had wartime security training for 50 leaders. It was not easy to organize because it was hard to cross the border (into a neighboring country where the

Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. training was held). The Lord has blessed us beyond our thoughts. I (Pan) praise God for His wonderful leading and His protection throughout the trainings. Really, it was a great joy to learn so many new things from the training which is exactly what we need in our daily living in our country. One attendee, Nem*, shared:

“One day, we didn’t have time to run and we were hiding inside our home. Some of the people got injured and one innocent child was killed on that day. [In the training] there were many lessons I learned which were helpful for me. One particular thing was the medical aid training. This was wonderful for me. Had I knew

a little knowledge of such medical aid earlier, the child who was killed may not have died. I am sorry for that. But, I can help others with what I learned from the training.”

Another, Khual*, said: “Some people were killed by landmines, and I saw them by my own eyes. But we don’t fully understand the danger, even after the explosions, so we would still go near [the landmines]. Now I learned myself and can pass it to my community to protect ourselves from such explosions.”

Nang* explained: “As I travel to the villages for sharing the Gospel, I have to cross checkpoints and have to face some questions. I have

39

learned a very good lesson from that teaching about what to say or not to say. It gives me more clues to answer in appropriate way to escape from the possible problems.”

EVACUATION AND FOOD RELIEF

One very remarkable thing we did. Because of the 1027 operation in Shan state, many people were suffering and many people become displaced. One of the orphanage homes was helpless and they were struggling so much because of the fighting. At that time, we had a great chance to stand with them in their needs. Because of HB’s help we were able to save 90 of the orphan’s lives and their families. It was a remarkable thing we have done for this orphanage. By God’s grace we also evacuated 50 children from my (Pan’s) home in December during the fighting.

Nine missionaries and their families have received help from us to run from their homes because of the fighting. It is one of the very remarkable helps we could provide to our missionaries. They could not get any help from anyone. But because of HB’s immediate action, even though their lives are dangerous, we

“The conflicts in Myanmar have displaced more than 1.6 million people internally since the coup, and many others fleeing to neighboring countries.”

could provide help to these people and their family.

The conflicts in Myanmar have displaced more than 1.6 million people internally since the coup, and many others fleeing to neighboring countries. The junta has blocked desperately needed humanitarian aid from reaching millions of displaced people and others at risk, designed to isolate and terrorize civilian populations. Though the Junta blocked aids to come in to the needy people in our country, with the help of the HB ministry, we were able to help many families, and nearly 4000 people who were facing food crisis in their daily need. What a joy to look back on our good works and

say thank you to the Lord for His goodness. It is very, very, very, very good works that we have done throughout the year to help the needy people.

Zom* explains how he helped 30 families: “Even when we distribute the food to the poor, we have to be very careful for Junta as we are afraid they may accuse us of supporting the anti-Junta group. These are the villages affected so badly during the Junta air strike in April. All of them fled from their homes for safety and during their absence, most of their properties have been lost, including their animals. The people started to return to their homes [after two months]. The

people are poor and many of them have been struggling more than before because there is no works and no way to earn money. Each family received rice, cooking oil, and beans. This is a great help for them as we brought aid to the families and most importantly, they heard the Gospel from us.”

Mai* helped 120 families: “I have no other words to say except to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this possible. It took us about four hours to go to the refugee camp and we stayed there for three nights. We had a wonderful ministry there. During our stay, there was no problem and our food distribution also went very well. The recipients

were so happy and so smiling. I thank our God for allowing me to do this ministry along with my co-workers.”

DAILY MINISTRY DURING WAR

I am glad to report that there are 297 new believers and 194 were baptized as a testimony of Jesus Christ. These numbers are just the low estimate. There were 11 new house church fellowships and 20 new Bible studies started during 2023. And 30 new leaders were trained for the ministry. It is a great privilege to train those new leaders so that they can work with us and they can go by themselves to reach the people with the love of Jesus Christ.

41

“Because of the fighting here and there, we were not able to have our meetings regularly. So the believers hunger for the Word of God as we had little chance to have Bible study and home cell. But the Lord blessed our Bible study and we had some newcomers and I had a privilege to share the love of God and His salvation message to the newcomers and by the grace of God, three people have come to the knowledge of salvation. ~ Min*

“As I went among the Buddhist community, some of them rejected me and sent me out from their house and tore up the gospel tracts that I have given to them. Some of them took and read it. For them, I prayed for their hearts to be opened and see Jesus Christ in their lives. I shared the love of God face to face and they were really interested to seek Jesus Christ in their lives.”

“There was a man, Lin*, who was a pure Buddhist since his childhood. I had a personal conversation with him and learned that he was arrested for more than a week by the junta when the fighting took place in his village. After one week, he was released. By facing such

hardships in his life, he began to search his destiny. He told me that he met a pastor after he came back from the jail and he heard a little about the salvation message in his life. I shared with him about the sin of mankind, the love of God and the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. He came to understand little by little and lastly, he confessed his sins and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. He says, ‘Thank you so much for visiting my village and sharing the love of God with me. I know that I am now saved and heaven is my home. I praise God for saving my soul.’”

When the pastors move one place to another to escape, they cannot just start quickly witnessing the gospel. So they’re fighting just to manage for themselves in a new place, to settle, and then they find that not everything is safe, so they have to move again. So they said it is one of the most difficult parts of the year. They have been rejected. They are being pressured. But, in the end, they are very thankful to the Lord that the Lord does something and opens the door for them to witness.

~
42
“I think my commitment is that when God calls us, we need to build a house, do the works and plant the gardens. Plant a good seed to many people.”

GREATER THINGS

A big thank you to our faithful donors for their giving throughout the past year, without which we couldn’t accomplish what the Lord has called us to do. I (Pan) hope for your continued support and prayer as the needs are urgent and greater than ever before. No one can predict our future but we have the living God who holds our future. Amen! We expect to claim more blessings in His name as we carry

on His Gospel message to the unreached people in our land. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” ~ Isaiah 43:18-19a.

What our leaders plan is to witness as much as they can and have Bible study in different places in 2024. Now we see the fruit of being patient. We have seen fruits, so now we are moving into new chapters to do much more greater things. This is very exciting. The thing is, we

need to keep praying. Without that, nothing will get done. When you look around, it is very discouraging, very sad. But if we are always being sad and discouraged, I (Thang) think we will do nothing at all. So, I think my commitment is that when God calls us, we need to build a house, do the works and plant the gardens. Plant a good seed to many people. That will be my personal courage and challenge in 2024.

Growth Amidst Persecution

The most encouraging and exciting part of this year for us and the leaders who are doing ministry is that all of them are highly motivated to continue the ministry at any cost because all of them have seen the end vision mentioned in the Revelation 5:9-10 and all of us are committed for the ministry of The Lord. I (Shalva) found that the pastors and missionaries are really feeling good about last year. They were able to travel, having a close connection in ministry with each other, but always hazards in the ministry, either by Hindu radicals or other adversaries. During this year almost all of them found that their churches were growing, believers are more committed to The Lord, and the church has become stronger, even in spite of different forms of persecution and threats.

A report from Amit*, who serves at the Nepal-Tibet border, illustrates this:

“I made regular efforts to conduct evangelistic outreaches twice a month. However, there were months where these plans were hindered by obstacles, such as military restrictions and increased opposition. Despite these challenges, we remained committed to hold weekly church services, even though we had to operate discreetly. We also strived to organize house fellowship gatherings at least once a week. The situation became even more challenging when the borders were temporarily closed. These circumstances made life quite difficult. Yet, during our services and meetings, we continued to offer support to our fellow Christian friends,

providing them with hope and solace in God. Together, we united in worship, praising the Lord, and praying for one another. I pray for the lifestyle of people in Tibet, for the authorities and officials to be gentler with the people, and for the prohibitions to be lifted soon.”

Many times we are receiving threats from Hindu radicals that they will burn our churches. There are challenges to help Christian children to get enrolled into the schools due to financial problems and facing unnecessary blame from Hindu neighbors. My own church building where we have weekly worship, Bible Study, fasting prayers and other spiritual activities has been destroyed by Hindu radicals and we didn’t get any compensation from the government and no hope to get

“And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.’” Revelation 5:9-10

it in the future. We have been living in injustice and we hope our God is the God of Justice and He will judge rightly.

When we faced persecution in our lives and ministry we devoted ourselves in prayer. The most important lesson learnt this year was about prayer. What is prayer? Prayer is a thanksgiving. Prayer is a relationship. Prayer is faith. Prayer is a commitment. Prayer is a devotion. Prayer is a vision. Prayer is for spiritual warfare.

CONSISTENCY IN MINISTRY

We believe that “a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.” We are developing our leadership from that perspective. Throughout the year, we have

concentrated on the life and ministry of Moses seen in the book of Exodus. The leaders have been realizing that consistency in ministry is very important. And even if nobody remembers us, God Almighty always remembers us and sees us. Amit shared a story of transformation that came after every day, consistent ministry:

“Let me share the inspiring story of Karlha*, a 23-year-old woman who discovered faith in Christ after facing disappointment in her pursuit of Buddhism. Born into a traditional Buddhist family, Karlha adhered to the religious rules and practices that had been part of her life since birth. She even chose to study Buddhism in college, believing it was the path she should follow. However, as she delved deeper into her studies and conducted her own research, Karlha’s heart remained unfulfilled. Despite seeking guidance from her sister, who had become a monk at a young age, she could not find the inner peace she longed for. Her questions remained unanswered, and her doubts persisted.

I crossed paths with Karlha and shared my Christian faith with her. She began to ask me questions

“We love people. We love you all. That’s why we are coming all the way from different parts of the country to help you, to show God’s love. It’s only because of Jesus.”

about my beliefs, and I shared the story of Jesus – how He offered salvation, love, and inner peace to those who believe in Him. I also invited her to join our Christian fellowship. Through regular attendance at our fellowships, fervent prayers, and participation in our services, Karlha began to experience a profound transformation. She made the courageous decision to leave the Buddhist school she was attending and openly confessed her faith in Christ. In Him, she found the answers and the sense of solace she had been searching for. While her family may not fully embrace her newfound faith, she remains hopeful that she can one day reveal to them the greatness of Jesus.”

SERVING THROUGH WORD AND DEED

In our maternal health clinics, 620 women received health checks and treatment. Local leaders were in contact with the women before and after the camps. The women who were suffering through health problems and were ashamed to go for the treatment were able to share their problems in the medical camps. The counseling resulted in a gateway for their treatment. 20 women who were

and weakness. They learnt and became aware about female health and hygiene; now they are able to help others who are suffering from same kind of problems and hesitate to tell others.

People would ask, “Why are you doing these health camps?” We would tell them, “Because of the love of Jesus and women from different parts of the world, there is some money for you and for your health. We love people. We love you all. That’s why we are coming all the way from different parts of the country to help you, to show God’s love. It’s only because of Jesus.” And at that time, very proudly, we say, “We are Christian women doing this.” I (Jandi) feel very comfortable to share. We can openly claim it in front of the community leaders who are present there. So, it’s really a great time of sharing testimony through not only the Word of God, but also through the work.

In Nepal, we are always hit by natural disasters like landslide, flood,

couple thousand young people are leaving the country in search of jobs. There are challenges to help poor families’ children go for higher education. Many Christians and non-Christians depend on pastors and Church to help them for that.

Savings Group Ministry (SGM) is helping churches in multiple provinces, where male and female church leaders, pastors and believers participated. In most of the Savings Groups (SGs), non-Christians are also interested to join, which is a gateway to share the gospel. 42 saving groups in 42 churches got registered by end of December, and they have 920 members. All of them are excited to learn saving for the family, and are doing prayer and Bible study to uplift believers in spiritual life, as well as finances. They are flourishing spiritually, as well as financially. They started giving loans to their members and are very excited to support each other at the time of their need. Some of them started new small businesses, such as shoe shop, grocery store, barber shop,

crop farming, and animal farming, so they can now take care of their family needs such as education, and medical treatment of the family members. Emergency funds from the SGs are becoming life-saving funds because they could send people to the hospital. Neighboring churches are hearing the testimony of the churches with the SGs, so they are also interested to start in their churches in 2024.

We salute you from Nepal with heartfelt gratitude. May Almighty God bless you and help you to support the ministries around the world who are unable to do without someone’s assistance. We have achieved so much by your prayerful, sacrificial support and tireless efforts and hard work of the staff of Harvest Bridge. We have led many projects to assist the Church and the society. So we are always encouraged in The Lord.

CHURCHES

“I’m glad that Harvest Bridge provides the means to support people and needs in areas where we would have no way to do it otherwise. It was a blessing to meet Pastor Thang* and hear directly from him about his ministry and the significant needs and persecution they face in Myanmar. Harvest Bridge also provided an opportunity to hear from a pastor from Nepal/Tibet that another church member and I were able to attend. Harvest Bridge truly is a bridge between our congregation and mission needs.”

INDIVIDUALS

“It is an honor to partner with Harvest Bridge. Donors come alongside ministry professionals on the other side of the world, and have the blessing to see how their money is being used for God’s Kingdom. Our partners across the world are wise, disciplined, and discerning with funding. They work tirelessly to meet the needs of neighbors around them, and share the Gospel in their radical love. We receive live updates and prayer requests, making it realistic to regularly pray in Jesus’ name for their specific requests. I am regularly inspired, humbled, and encouraged by our partners, and hope to meet more soon.”

We have one goal: To come alongside local ministries in South Asia and Myanmar. Harvest Bridge does not create local ministries, but equips those that already have proven themselves to be effective.

“Our church planting ministry is blessed by the love of HB and its tremendous support to us. Harvest Bridge makes our dream possible – to implement His vision. The love, including the financial support, was the most important, encouraging and exciting matter to our ministry in Bangladesh.” —Pastor Darpan*, Bangladesh Country Director

“The Junta forces imposed new travel restrictions, blocked access to roads and destroyed non-military supplies, attacked the innocent civilians, and shut down all telecommunications services….What they say is a law….In 2023 the missionaries say despite all these crises, many of them have achieved their plan during the year. So they have been so thankful for that.” —Pastor Pan*, Myanmar Country Co-Director

“This year, God promised that He will make everything new. You know, like a year of provision. In the entire year, I personally was seeing progress in the spiritual realm, in the ministry realm. And God has been so good. We got so many opportunities to reach new places. It was a busy year, in fact, the busiest year ever, in terms of ministry.” —Pastor Jagan*, Bhutan Country Director

“I would like to convey my heartiest thanks and sincere appreciation for your prayers and financial support, by which we were able to conduct all our ministries and social services. This helped us and our communities, not only to survive but also to share the love and message of Christ and provide relief during these challenging times.”
