Welcome to our Summer Reading List!
All the books recommended on these lists have been chosen to delight, challenge, inspire and entertain. They represent the very best writing and illustration for children and young people and we hope that you enjoy choosing ones to read over the summer. There is no obligation to read these books and it is not a competition they are intended to be suggestions, to encourage you to find other books by the same author or read the next in a series. Don’t feel you have to stick to the recommended ages either! Just enjoy finding new books and read as much as you can with your parents too! (Book Series are shown with an )
Many of these books will be available at the Bookworm Summer Book Fair; others can be bought from all good independent book sellers.
The British Council’s digital library is free to join in the UAE and will give you access to many more e-books, audiobooks and magazines.
