Hi there! I’m Hartie I climbed a hundred hills To deliver a message From my town Heroville.

I've been searching for someone Counting minutes and hours A very special someone With very special powers.

Can you guess who?

Go on, give it a shot…

Yep, it’s you!

Now let’s unpack Those powers you’ve got.

You’re kind and you’re caring You’re bold and you’re daring With oodles of courage And helpfulness too.

And you know what, my friend?

There’s the power to Hero in you!

You hero when you say the truth Even when it's hard You hero when you give your Gran Some flowers and a card.

You hero when you clean your room And put your toys away You hero when you share the swing And let a new friend play.

You hero when you ask for help Instead of feeling shame You hero when you ask someone To join you in your game.

You hero when you gently rock The baby back to sleep And when you bring a bottle Or their favorite sheep.

You hero when you take a breath And don't do something mean You hero when you brush your teeth And keep them sparkling clean.

But...

When someone hurts your feelings You may start feeling low And sometimes you forget Your power to Hero.

Like when you build a tower As high as a giraffe You're feeling great!

You're feeling proud!

'Til your friends start to laugh.

When it's time to leave the park But you still want to climb Or when Dad turns off the TV And tells you, “It’s bedtime!”

When you get cherry ice cream But wanted rocky road Your red hot rage begins to bubble You're ready to explode

Your inner hero rolls up small Sometimes it’ll even hide You don’t feel very strong or kind You forget that it’s inside.

But even when those times are tough Your Hero's here to stay Reminding you "You got this!

You're going to be ok!"

Because....

You’re kind and you’re caring You’re bold and you’re daring With oodles of courage and helpfulness too.

And you know what, my friend?

There’s the power to Hero in you!

So take a breath Put on your cape Stand up TALL and proud Flex those Hero muscles And count to ten out loud.

Your powers rush into your body Like a glow from a magician They're activated, ready!

Now go and ace this mission.

I see it shining super-bright I know that you do too Right there inside your heart That Hero is in you.
