Designing a contemporary and modern looking house with natural play of light and landscape. A house be comes a home when the users are able to connect with it emotionally. The design should be free flowing to avoid claustrophobic feeling during uncertain situa tions like COVID
Site context
Location : West Extension of Thillai Nagar, Trichy
The site measures 25 x 35 mts. The site is oriented along North – South direction.
GROUND FLOOR
Design
The design has lots of common spaces for quality family time. The free flowing spaces ensure a healthy relationship among the users. Semi-outdoor dining is a flexible space to hangout during dining hours.
The split levels facilitate air movement across all floors by moving hot air out and bringing cool air indoors
The living room has a double-height ceiling naturally lit by windows facing east from a higher level. The parti tion walls being not completely solid allow light to pass through in vertical lines, this causes the shadows to keep changing throughout the day.
The study room has separate access from the chil dren’s balcony for easy accessibility. It is also spacious and furnished adequately to meet the needs while having study groups over the house.
A semi-outdoor space is placed between the kitchen and the utility area since it is observed that users usu ally prefer an outdoor connection while performing such activities.
The colour palette used for the interiors consists of neutral colours with shades of blue and green. This helps maintain a calm and soothing interior while giving a sense of security and peace.

Designing a quality health service facility to cater peo ple’s overall fitness needs. The space has to help users achieve fitness goals and provide a relaxed environ ment at the same time.
With the increasing awareness towards health and fitness especially during pandemic, the design aims to achieve a positive and encouraging environment.
FIRST FLOOR
Site context
Location : CBD
Along Karur Byepass road, Trichy
The site is located near Natural’s Family Salon and Spa. It measures 35 x 55 mts. The site is oriented along East - West direction.
GROUND FLOOR
Design
The design makes sure that all spaces recieve natural light through the day time, and the operable windows facilate night flush cooling method. Difference in ceil ing heights ensure natural light and ventilation for all spaces.

The spaces can be visually differentiated into the cen tral and surrounding areas. The central spaces are how ever dedicated to the primary users, while the sur rounding spaces are for administrative purposes.
The large curtain walls give users view of the outdoors while exercising. This is mentally relaxing and refresh ing to the users.
The wall of staff room has been slanted to provide nat ural light and avoid direct glare at the same time. Studies show that natural light helps create a healthy and positive workspace.
The design provides a tension free and encouraging environment that will help the users acheive their fitness goals.

A design to stimulate the children’s complete potential as a being and to facilitate children to make use of the resources of school on a day to day basis for physical, cognitive, social and emotional development.
Site context
Location : The site is located in trichy, The site measures 235 x 345 mts. The site is oriented along East – West direction.
Design
The design ensures safety and accessibility for children. The spaces are organized in a grid like fashion to facilitate easy navigation for children. The orientation of buildings are decided based on the climate analysis of the city, with the buildings oriented NorthSouth with transition spaces.
The open air theater can be used as both a playground where parents / teachers can supervise the kids playing, it can also be used to showcase performances during a nice weather. The space on the North-East part of the site is allocated for future expansion, the area has access from the West and South.
