To become official PADI Seal Team members, students complete the first five of 15 AquaMissions, each comprising a briefing, skill session, and fun activity. As they progress, participants learn through the PADI Seal Team video, AquaMission Activity Book, and guidance from their PADI Instructor. Completing these AquaMissions not only earns them AquaMission decals but also equates to vital skills from the Open Water Diver Course. Upon finishing the missions, students receive a PADI Master Seal Team certificate, recognising their achievements.

Partnered with the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the programme aims to educate students about the significance of marine conservation while equipping them with the skills to build and operate Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles (ROVs). Over the course of the camp, students will explore ROV technology through engaging hands-on workshops, starting with assembling a Mini-ROV. They will progress to constructing a Basic ROV from scratch, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills, before testing their creations in a pool environment.
The capstone event, the Marine Debris Showdown, transforms the school pool into a simulated oceanic arena where students will manoeuvre their ROVs to collect simulated debris, such as plastic bags and soda cans. This exhilarating challenge not only tests the functionality and precision of their designs but also reinforces the importance of technology in addressing real-world environmental issues. Upon completion, all students will receive an IEEE Certificate of Participation, recognising their achievements in ROV building. This experience not only enhances their understanding of STEM principles but also opens doors to further educational pursuits and competitions, empowering them to contribute positively to marine conservation efforts.

Participants will engage with three key objectives: understanding sustainable practices and environmental conservation, developing outdoor skills while fostering a connection with nature, and promoting teamwork and leadership through adventure activities. These objectives will come to life through a variety of exciting experiences designed to enrich participants’ understanding of the environment and strengthen their collaborative skills.
Highlights of the programme include a visit to Europe’s highest zoo, exploration of the stunning Gorges du Durnan, and a guided tour of a ski lift to learn about the mechanics of ski resorts. Supervised mountain guides will lead nature hikes to discover the unique fauna and flora of the Alps, while mountain biking at 2,200 metres will provide breathtaking views. Participants will also navigate Europe’s largest underground lake, visit Swiss glaciers to understand the impacts of climate change, and explore a dam to learn about hydropower. Accommodation will be at La Tzoumaz Campus, situated at 1,500 metres, offering stunning views of the Rhone Valley and convenient access to lifts reaching the Mont-Fort glacier at 3,300 metres, making it the ideal tranquil escape in the French-speaking Swiss Alps.

In situations where a participant is physically unfit to meet the camp’s requirements, provided we receive a professional evaluation or documentation from a registered doctor within 7 days from the date the parents/guardian first report the issue., Upon receiving this documentation, we will offer a change of booking or a refund. with the conditions below:

Cancellation due to insufficient participants
● If the camp does not reach the minimum number of participants, as indicated on the registration website, two weeks prior to the camp start date, AISL OUTDOOR reserves the right not to organize the camp. In such cases, a full refund will be provided to all registered participants, or such participants may apply to join another camp within the same camp period.
Change of camp dates, times and venues
● AISL OUTDOOR reserve the right to change camp times, venues and dates at our discretion. Parents will be notified of any changes in advance as soon as possible. If the participant is not able to join a reorganised camp which may be held in a different timeslot or in a different location that he/she originally applied for, a full refund will be offered to all registered participants, or such participants may apply to join another camp within the same camp period.
● If you wish to make a refund and withdrawal request, you are required to submit a refund form through email within 14 days after we have provided you the form. If we do not receive the form within 14 days, your request for a refund will be considered forfeited.
● Refund will be made within 60 working days after we receive a properly completed and signed refund application form from the participants
● Parents and/or guardians are responsible for the transportation, pickup and drop-off arrangement of the participants to and from the programme venue and the travelling arrangements including visa applications (if applicable) of the participants.
● Camps will finish on time. Please ensure you pick up your child promptly at the end of the camp. If your child is self-dismissed, you are required to submit the self-dismissal authorization form to us before the first day of camp. Without receiving

In the event of adverse weather conditions in Hong Kong, the camp will be cancelled if it cannot proceed as scheduled. Upon improvement of weather conditions, the camp will resume promptly without the need for postponement or supplementary sessions. Parents are advised to stay informed through announcements on radio, television, or the “GovHK Notifications” mobile application during rainstorms and other extreme weather conditions.
