At the heart of our approach is knowing that natural healthy sleep can only be achieved on a mattress that’s handcrafted from natural, healthy materials. And for us, that means caring where everything comes from.
It’s why we grow natural comfort fillings on our Yorkshire farms, weave our fabrics in-house and make our own awardwinning springs.
A unique spring system for the finest support.
Restful sleep starts at the very heart of our mattresses with our award-winning Cortec™ Quad pocket springs. Created to isolate and absorb movement while providing fully independent targeted support, each individual spring is ultrasonically welded into its own pocket, eliminating the need for glue.
Working together with the Cortec™ Quad core, thousands of the smallest HD micro springs provide a unique sensation of finely tuned contouring support and ultra-responsive comfort, replacing the need for foam.
Additional layers of 1000 Posturfil pocket springs react instantly to the sleeper’s movements, supplying targeted support, pressure relief and correct spinal alignment.
These spring systems combine to promote exceptional airflow and temperature control through the mattress and achieve unrivalled support and supreme comfort.
Why British wool and homegrown hemp & flax?
Soft, springy and naturally supportive, wool keeps your guests warm and dry, helping to regulate body temperature and wick away moisture. It’s also antibacterial and inherently fireretardant, meaning there’s no need to use chemicals in any of our fillings. Our homegrown hemp and flax are durable, naturally strong and resistant to mildew making them the perfect fillings to include in our mattresses. These fibres are breathable and super-efficient at absorbing moisture, ensuring your guests have the perfect night’s sleep.

Made with quality wool yarn and natural viscose for breathability and natural fire-retardant properties, our mattress fabric needs no additional potentially harmful fire-retardant chemical treatments meaning your guests can sleep safe and sound.
