To the surprise of some and the delight of many, Fiji will take World Interhash out of Asia for the second time since Cardiff hosted Interhash in 2004. Persistence apparently pays off as Fiji has been bidding to host the event since 2012. Perth, Australia hosted the event in 2008. Interhash 2010 went to Kuching, Malaysia, 2012 was held in Borobudur, Indonesia, 2014 was in Hainan, China, and 2016 was in Bali, Indonesia. Bali previously hosted Interhash in 2008.
How was Interhash 2016 in Bali where the largest congregation of hashers ever converged on the Island of the Gods? It’s hard to please 6000 people, even when you take them to the most spectacular hashing terrain on the planet.
