he life of a beauty blogger is not so much a mystery nowadays; thanks to advances in social media (I’m looking at you, Snapchat!), you’re now able to peek into the daily lives of celebrities, online personalities, as well as bloggers, and find out what exactly it is they do from day to day.

My life is pretty much laid out bare, so there’s not much I can show you that you won’t already have seen, if you follow me on Snapchat.

That being said, my privacy is still extremely important to me. Thankfully, Huawei’s top-of-the-line fingerprint sensor technology in the new P9 gives me that peace of mind. I was even more intrigued by the P9 because of the Huawei and Leica collaboration, and I just had to try the powerful camera for myself. I thought I’d show you bits and pieces of what usually happens in a day in my life, and how the new Huawei P9 has enhanced my life.

If it’s a weekend, I’ll head out for breakfast with my family. Sometimes, I’ll squeeze in a yoga session with my friend; yoga in the morning is so refreshing.

Whenever I have a little “me” time, I’ll pamper myself A selfie a day with the Huawei P9’s crisp 8-megapixel front camera with a facial or a hair treatment. I love going for laser facials, but last week, I had a little more time, so I got my hair coloured—and I am loving the new hair.

Weekends are a treat for me because that’s when I meet my friends, and we always choose a cute brunch place so I can get awesome pictures of the food, and sometimes, my outfits. Friends make great photographers because you can give them endless instructions and they’ll still put up with you.

The P9’s dual camera works its magic here, too.

With the 12-megapixel RGB and mono sensor, I can really produce creative shots. I especially love how the Hybrid Focus function takes my pictures with incredible speed, depth, and clarity using laser focus.

So, even when I’m crossing the street or in constant movement, my OOTD shots are never compromised.

In the evenings, I try to spend some time with my husband and Chloe at home. With both me and my husband working different jobs at the same time, we can get busy, so at times, we just sit together and get some work done. Sometimes I film, and I make him put on his earphones and play some music so he doesn’t hear me stumble over my words. I tend to do that when I get really excited, which is all the time when I’m around make-up.

At night, we head out with our friends, usually to a dessert café or a bar. On the weekends, there may be events to attend, and when there are, I either head there on my own, or drag my husband along because he’s gotten quite good at taking pictures! And since these things usually happen in dark surroundings, the Picture Quality Algorithm that Leica co-engineered helps achieve quality shots in low light conditions. The sleek body of the P9 makes it an accessory on its own, too. With an aerospace-class unibody aluminum and a superior-grade 2.5D glass, it’s hard to not be drawn to this eye-catching smartphone.

At the end of the day, though, I’m quite the homebody. My favourite thing to do is snuggle on the couch with my husband—face masks on and a horror movie playing on the TV. I do enjoy the little things and personal connections, and the Huawei P9’s 4G dual sim and LTE Cat 6 connectivity keep me constantly updated with the special people in my life.
