Introduction to Lois Walpole Lois is an ARTIST who makes amazing CONTAINERS She makes them using different techniques- WEAVING, COILING, ASSEMBLING She loves COLOUR and PATTERN. The colour comes from the unusual materials she uses and the pattern comes from the techniques she uses in making Lois mainly gets her IDEAS from COLLECTING and playing with materials. She only uses RECYCLED materials or plants such as willow which grows again after it has been cut All artists have to think about the following qualities when they are making. Look out for them in Lois’s work.
