Transformational Growth
A key measure of our impact is students’ growth from when they enter Harlem Academy to eighth grade. For the class of 2024, students started with untapped potential and gained 17 percentile points on standardized tests, graduating with average scores at the 85th percentile. The chart below shows a 26-point difference between this class’s performance and an analogous sample of students from a national study.

Harlem Academy shares its innovative programs and successful strategies with the broader education community, extending the school’s impact beyond its walls.
