The sports academy is a dynamic blend of cultural inspiration and modern functionality, spanning 25 acres near Chennai along the ECR. Rooted in the architectural essence of Mahabalipuram, the design incorporates traditional Tamil elements like stone textures, courtyards, and natural finishes, seamlessly integrated with contemporary forms. Situated just 1 km from the sea, the project embraces coastal influences, emphasizing ventilation, natural lighting, and a sustainable connection to its environment.
The master plan is thoughtfully zoned, with dedicated spaces for handball, basketball, athletics, and football. Each sport features world-class practice courts and facilities, complemented by athlete accommodations designed to promote rest and recovery. A specialized sports rehabilitation center is a key feature, offering holistic wellness services in a calming and inspiring environment. Circulation is designed to ensure fluidity between training, living, and recreational spaces, creating an intuitive and efficient campus.
Green corridors, open spaces, and landscaped areas are interwoven throughout the site, enhancing the natural connection and providing areas for relaxation and community interaction. The design prioritizes sustainability through the use of locally sourced materials, passive cooling strategies, and renewable energy systems. This academy is not just a hub for sports but a landmark reflecting the rich heritage and forward-thinking spirit of the region.
The master plan of the sports academy emphasizes intuitive and efficient circulation, seamlessly connecting various zones. A hierarchical layout separates vehicular, pedestrian, and service routes to ensure safety and functionality. Pathways and landscaped corridors guide movement between the practice courts, player accommodations, spectator areas, and wellness facilities, maintaining a smooth flow.The central spine acts as the primary axis, linking major facilities while allowing easy branching into secondary zones. Open courtyards and green spaces punctuate the pathways, creating natural pauses and enhancing the overall experience. The proximity of key facilities minimizes travel time for athletes, optimizing their daily routines.
The indoor practice arena is a versatile, state-of-the-art facility designed for sports like basketball and handball. Featuring a sawtooth roof structure, it maximizes natural light and ventilation, creating an energy-efficient environment. The façade is treated with dynamic shading panels, blending functionality with aesthetics while minimizing heat gain The arena’s layout ensures ample space for training and events, with modern sports flooring and seamless circulation.the design integrates contemporary materials and sustainable features, offering athletes a high-performance and visually striking space.
The hostel accommodations are designed to provide comfort, functionality, and a strong connection to nature. Arranged around open courtyards, the design encourages interaction and creates well-ventilated, naturally lit living spaces. Each room is equipped with private balconies that offer stunning dual views the serene expanse of the sea on one side and the vibrant central practice space on the other.
This three-star hotel, located near the tranquil Vandiyur Lake in Madurai, is a thoughtfully designed hospitality project that harmonizes contemporary architecture with the serene natural surroundings. The façade, inspired by organic patterns, creates a striking visual identity, blending seamlessly with the lush green environment. Designed to provide a luxurious yet accessible experience, the hotel offers a mix of suite and twin-bed rooms, all oriented to capture breathtaking views of the lake, ensuring a tranquil and rejuvenating stay for guests.
A key feature of the design is the rooftop, which serves as a multifunctional recreational space. It includes an infinity pool overlooking Vandiyur Lake, a deck with sun loungers, and semi-open dining areas shaded by wooden pergolas. These spaces are designed to foster relaxation and social interaction, while also offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The landscaped interior courtyard, with its soft lighting and lush greenery, provides a peaceful retreat, creating an inviting ambiance for guests to unwind.

The conference rooms, meeting rooms, and auditorium are designed for functionality and comfort. The conference and meeting rooms offer modern tech and seating for professional discussions, while the auditorium provides an acoustically optimized space with tiered seating for large events and presentations.

The cafe design on Perundurai Road, Erode, embodies a harmonious fusion of modern and vernacular architectural principles, offering a contemporary yet contextually rooted experience. The structure features a blend of earthy tones and natural textures, with arched openings that enhance the flow of light and air. Designed to establish a seamless connection with the outdoors, the cafe integrates semi-outdoor spaces adorned with green vegetation, creating an oasis-like environment amidst the urban fabric. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also fosters a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation for the patrons.
The interiors are inspired by biophilic design principles, emphasizing a close relationship with nature. The use of natural materials such as wood, stone, and terracotta complements the green accents throughout the space. Thoughtfully designed planters, vertical gardens, and hanging greenery enrich the ambiance, making the space vibrant and inviting. The layout is functional yet dynamic, offering a variety of seating arrangements to suit different occasions—cozy nooks for individuals, communal tables for groups, and semi-private spaces for intimate gatherings.
